Prime Minister of The Bahamas Philip Davis on FTX's crypto collapse

The Prime Minister of The Bahamas Philip Davis, Chair of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), spoke to @AtlanticCouncilUS about his vision for the future of US-Caribbean relations. He highlighted the importance of cooperation between regulatory bodies to address issues such as the collapse of cryptocurrency exchange FTX, headquartered in the Bahamas
“When the FTX issue arose, it was our regulatory regime that allowed us to move quickly to preserve assets for participants in the FTX business,” said Prime Minister Davis.
He spoke at an #ACFrontPage event moderated by Jason Marczak, Senior Director of the Atlantic Council's Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center.
