- A short film about Dale Chihuly's Mille Fiori series. From the Italian for a "thousand flowers," this unique series is comprised of a variety of works. Components of the Mille Fiori series resemble organic shapes such as the antherium or fern, a heron's lengthy body or the foot of a frog. They are sometimes arranged in single elements or grouped together with as many as twelve installations. Combined, these installations truly create a garden of glass.

Beautiful. I’ve seen many installations and love each of them. The Garden of Glass is stunning. Last time I was there a young couple had just wed and wandering through the garden. Beautiful young couple. I wonder how they are 10ish years later.
Thank you all for the gift of the Museum of Glass. I’ve spent a handful of Saturdays watching and learning from the artists in residence. The talks were excellent preparation to watch the magic happen in the Hot Shop. 💖😘
I was at his Seattle Museum 3 years ago. It was on my bucket list. As you walk from the Mille Fiori, you walk around the corner to see the boats. Even though they were inside and not in the massive greenhouse, it still took my breath away. Photos don't do it justice, but the video is magical.
Dale Chihuly, I am in fourth grade, and were melting something for art today in school and my teacher said to watch this and it inspires me to go farther ahead with my imagination, and now I always watch you your good at glass blowing.

@@sebastianwright9621. Nothing against the fourth grader, but if you consider this an example of good grammar then you need to take a refresher course. You should probably do some spell checking for yourself as well while you’re at it.
I love Dale Chiluy 💜 I would have loved to see his work in the water and garden. I did see a few locally, breathtaking. I am an avid glass fan. I always wanted to learn glass blowing. I did learn stained glass techniques and love art glass. I did get to see a huge Tiffany panel. I stood there for so long, my husband came to get me. I had goosebumps the whole time.

maybe someday they will make some for our gardens. I cried when I saw his garden display in Seattle.I ran to goodwill and bought tall colored glass(VASES) just to try replicate his ideas. Recycled glass.

There are a handful of Chihuly installations in aquariums, including inside his Boathouse hotshop in Seattle!
