I had the same experience. Don't give up. Remove it all from your house and people who bring it. I was exhausted and slept when I needed. It helped to rest and sleep. God did miraculously remove that desire and need when I made that final decision to stop for Him. What helped me was not wanting to be "high" on the day when the Lord comes.
Praying for you! Every time you get the urge, say, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Albert I was cleaning my house back in 2018, I removed everything is not from the Lord Amen. I see some story book in my house like Cinderella, some of them like witch story. Even the songs and some movies, I don’t buy those the father of my kids, he’s the one who bought those and bring it to our house. To be honest, I don’t worship Idols, no witchcraft, I know those are cursed. Holy Spirit, is the one who telling me to clean my house and check everything. When I finish cleaning my house I anoint every 🚪and start praying my house and sprinkle some salt water 💦 and guess what happens, me and my household we have peace. ✌🏼 No nightmare dreams so peaceful! One thing, I don’t allowed people to my house, sometimes we need to be careful because some of them love gossip, some dishonest, and many more.

It is not only movies It is music too. Whoever grew up without God...they don't understand. And we didn't know God -- we just knew about Him because of NOT TEACHING churches. Priests are very much responsible for what I didn't know while I grew up. It makes me mad because I made a LOOOOOT of mistakes not knowing God.
The good news is that even though you made a lot of mistakes because of the priests who should have guided you better you are today the better for it. You realize where you have errored because of the Holy Spirit abiding in you leading you guiding you and teaching you what it means to follow Jesus. Forgive them and keep looking up in Jesus mighty name Amen!!!
