Just got a p2714 code on permanent and no check engine light, no issues with shifting but i bought slt solenoid D and hoping its the issue already did a drop and fill. Thx for the video.
Great video man. Very helpful!
Thank you

On a sidenote, you crack me up because you sound like Ed Bassmaster also which I thought he’s pretty funny. I thought man what if that’s Ed Bassmaster taking a transmission apart laterZzz
wich one is the one thats control 2nd gear ?
I'm fixing to be putting in the S4 solenoid I guess is the reverse solenoid I hope it works
I have a 2008 Toyota Tundra 5.7. Car will shift up to 4th gear and will not go into 5th or 6th. Also, the transmission won't shift even in S mode, the number will go up on the dash but the gear is still in 4th. I have been researching this and people are saying it's the Shift solenoid circuit high. Toyota recommends replacing the transmission which is about 7,000 bucks, I can't afford that. Dash lights are on , check engine light isnt flashing. I had auto zone scan the codes as well and they gave me a print out, there's only one that came up which is for the Shift circuit D HIGH. Can I just replace all the solenoids to start and see if it fixes my problem?
What did you wind up doing? Selling it?
I'm changing my SLT seloniod, thanks for the informations.
I hope that it helps
@@iptperformancetrans I'm changing the wire harness also. Thanks again.
does anyone know the the part number for 2007 tundra solenoid A? or is solenoid A the same as S1??? thanks in advance
A and s1 is the same one.
Can you remove the solenoids if the valve body is still on the transmission?
Yes.
P0979 2008 tundra change the blue solenoid still have same code any help will be appreciated
I have a 06 Toyota tundra with bad shift solenoids, can I get a affiliate link for that please.
Because you have solenoid codes in no way means that you need solenoids typically. What exactly is the issue that you are having?
@@iptperformancetrans jerking when stepping on the gas, delay in gear changes
Can these be changed out with the valve body still installed on the vehicle?
Yes they can
@@iptperformancetrans I saw the other video of the teardown & heard you mention that parts will fall out when doing this while the tranny is still installed. So it seems the best way to do this is with the tranny out.
I got a 2007 Toyota tundra with a 5.7 60 a b transmission and it's delayed going into reverse is it the S4 solenoid
@@jgrahamflooring very doubtful, I’d suspect valve body wear or internal transmission damage
About how much does it cost to replace them at a shop?
Hello and thanks for making the video!
I have a 07 Tundra 5.7L and I have the the p0576 indicating that the shift solenoid B circuit low control, I’m really hoping you can point out the location of the solenoid B so I can order it since it has to be ordered and could take 10 to 15 days to get here, I’d hate to park my truck for morale than a week waiting on the part
4:25 shows solenoid locations.
@@iptperformancetrans Thank you sir! Can’t believe I skipped that part of the video 🤦🏻♂️😅. You’re such a help! 👍🏼 ✅

NEED HELP. I REMOVE VALVE BOY AND A FEW SPRINGS POP OUT. ANY IDEA WHERE THE SPRINGS GOES TO
It’s hard to say, there’s 6-7 springs and I don’t know what exactly you are asking about
I’m getting an 07’ Tundra 5.7 4x4
The trans won’t shift from 3rd to 4th gear. Without looking at it or scanning it, I would believe it’s a solenoid. Which one would it be. I’m in Ga and it’s in Fla so I’m going to travel there and fix it. I would like to order the solenoid before I go there. Your help would be appreciated! Thank you!
I’d consider the fact that there’s a very strong possibility that you are buying a vehicle with a bad transmission (also, this is my guess as to what you probably need to fix this vehicle)
@@iptperformancetrans I appreciate your response!
@@geraldyates8958Did you buy it or no?
hi sir, I have a tundra 4.7 l 2006 and my transmission looks different from what you have. I only have 7 solenoid, not 9. trying to locate the S1 and SR location on my tranny. please help.
how to repair the revers in valve body of toyota tundra
@@AmbroiseBouda There are many causes of reverse problems, they are certainly not all valve body related
Having some shifting problems. Seeing if you will be able to help
Probably
IS THERE AN EASY WAY TO ADD OIL AND CHECK THE OIL LEVEL.. INSTRUCTION FROM MITCHELL IS CONFUSING
If you check my channel, there’s another video on filling these transmissions
I have a 14 4.6 with P2714 and P0761 won’t shift past 3rd unless warm otherwise drives good
Probably time to repair/replace/rebuild your transmission.
Okay, I have a 2011 Toyota Tundra SR5 V8 4.6L. Have a of P2714, saying that the Pressure Control Solenoid "D'" Performance Stuck Off. Can you please tell me where that solenoid is at on the picture you provides at the end of your video here?
Please tell me you figured it out I have the same code😅
So I’m having issues with my trans . P2714 ,p0894, changed fluid through trans cooler 2quarts at a time . Shifts and drives pretty decent but keeps throwing codes? Never dropped the pan because I’m afraid of breaking bolts . Any advice? Or is my trans just done ?
It’s not looking good, I’d wager that the transmission is failing
@@iptperformancetrans thanks for the reply. Would dropping the pan and cleaning the trans screen have any chance of boosting pressure? Or am I way off lol . any additives you recommend? I guess I’ll start phoning around looking for a good trans shop . Thanks again. Good videos 👍🏼
@@mikephipps1645 Changing fluid and filter is maintenance, it is not going to repair anything
Do you guys offer financing for rebuilds? i think my truck is going to need one I’m changing solenoids first to see if it helps threw code for slt
Curious your thoughts on a GX460 with A760F, throwing P2714 intermittently, every week or so. No symptoms, drives perfectly. I am going to exchange all the fluid and I have seen others with similar issues stating "Output shaft speed sensor" may be the culprit. What are your thoughts on this solution or changing out the SLT solenoid in addition?
Okay so I have a 2008 Sequoia throwing the P2714 no symptoms drives perfect. I changed two solenoids on the valve body and replaced all 12 quarts of fluids with OEM Toyota ATF. Old fluid that came out didn't look that bad. After changing the solenoids I've still been getting the P2714 every other day. I reset the code with my code reader and everything is normal everything feels like its running great. I also found the information on changing the output shaft speed sensor so I just did that tonight literately just finished doing it a few minutes ago. I actually changed both the input and output speed sensor just to be sure. I'll let you know in a few days if this fixes the problem.
I don’t think that any of the interventions that you mentioned are going to be effective.
I’m going to assume that your transmission is unhealthy/failing, as they usually are when they start setting that code
I have seen changing the solenoid fix this complaint a total of 0 times ever.
@@G0dyoany update also having the same problem was thinking I need a new valve body but I’m not sure
@@calvinmancinelli1389 I put in a brand new output speed sensor OEM part from Toyota and I'm still getting the code every other day.
@@G0dyo Had this code on my 2011 Sequoia. Had to replace trans unfortunately. Went with a reman unit from Toyota. Made it to 200k. Hopefully will get another 100k out of it at least.
Which solenoid is for the cod 2757? When cold my car take a few second to catch before moving forward. Same thing when taking off from a stop.
Its the SLU solenoid (torque converter clutch). More likely than the solenoid being bad, you may have a worn valve body that can also cause the converter clutch to slip (converter clutch slip is the most common cause of this code)
Need help. Have a 2016 5.7l tundra limited. Truck bumps, sometimes hard sometimes not so hard, when slowed down for traffic, between 20 and 35 mph, then easily accelerate, it bumps, very annoying. I bought the truck last jan 2022 ( it's now 6/23) with 59k, had trans fluid and filter changed at 60k. Still same. Took it to toyota dealer, changed fluid agan at 98k, no change, im now at 102k. Still the same. Toyota dealer didn't show any codes, I've had no lights on dash.
Sell it.
Do anyone knows Part number for s3 shift solenoid
We're the reverse solenoids
There are not reverse solenoids
Hello sir I am having code P0748 liner solenoid no1 system malfunction
Can you please help
Hello
The patient is my gx460 A760F box. I changed the oil in the gearbox about 5000 km ago, everything was ok, trip to Italy.
Suddenly, on a driveway (gearbox on D), up a hill of about 15 degrees, the car does not stop uphill but slides down, the ESP light comes on and the car brakes. When I turn on the reducer, the problem does not occur even at a much larger angle. Of course, original oil, oil condition checked. There are no errors on the computer. I checked the new filter was installed correctly. Does anyone have an idea? Yes, the gearbox works normally, changes gears, pulls perfectly normally, the car has power.
That may be normal
It's probably not normal because this doesn't happen with my friend.@@iptperformancetrans
If you take your friend's car to the same hill it acts differently?
How is your idle speed?@@ukasziwanowicz5774
yes, we compared cars on the same hill.@@iptperformancetrans
idle speed normal around 700
Toyota dealership tried to charge me 6800.00 said my transmission was bad I had a feeling it was the solenoids 300 later magically fixed
It’s actually very rare for the problem to actually be solenoids, as in almost never
@iptperformancetrans when I got the paper work was throwing a faulty trans pressure switch code I figure they would have tried that instead of try and rip me a new 1
what did you do to fix the problem and which codes did it have?
@geneevangelist9279 I'll have to look but it said it was a solenoid on paperwork I check all of them and still same issue truck is parked and driving my other truck
So it isn't fixed? @@D3M0z

Hey brother. I love your channel. I have an issue I'm hoping you can help with. I have a 2003 toyota tundra 4.7 litre. I keep getting this code for Shift solenoid B. I have no clue where it is or the part number to order it. I would be so grateful if you could send me a picture of where to find it and the part number so I can go purchase and install it. I'm forever grateful for your help. Have a wonderful day
It's usually cheaper to get the set of 3, they are located under the pan and are easily changeable without removing the valve body. Amazon affiliate link: amzn.to/3m86HDX
I have 2008 5.7 tundra and code p2714 and p0761 and I replaced S3,S4 and SLT and still show the same code when cold after driving something not work and need reset by the scanner .... Any idea????? This super frustrating
I change Oil and filter and not fix the issues any idea 💡
Your transmission is probably bad (burnt clutches, unable to shift when the computer commands it) Solenoid codes like these are rarely caused by actual bad solenoids
@@iptperformancetrans so shift normally after only first shift if I push hard feel litter jumped but after 2nd shift higher revolution normal
Work when reset the code by the scanner and release the shift ,is the same issues
@@Akeno_835 As I said, your transmission is bad
@@Akeno_835 The Toyota valve body assemblies in these transmissions aren’t too great. I replaced my valve body with a new one and the truck is back to normal. However, if you continued to drive it with a failing valve body, you burnt clutches and will need it rebuilt. John will take care of you for $5,800 for just the rebuild. Add in the cost of pulling the trans and shipping it to him and you might as well junk that Tundra.

Wish I had a shop like you guys in Vancouver Canada. 07 high mileage tundra with the torque converter shudder and now the p2757 code!! 🤬
We do work for people all over the world, way further than BC
Hello. I just had code 2757 come up on my 07 tundra 4.7. Do you mind me asking what you did to fix your truck?
Link for the solenoid part?
The link is to call a Toyota dealer with your vin if you need a solenoid.
John, my 2007 Tundra with the AB60F has a fifth to sixth gear flare and I am getting codes P0756 and P2714. The pan was spotless inside when I removed it, no metallic particles in the fluid, no fiber or metal in the pan. Would a rebuilt valve body from you fix it? No slipping at all, just the 5-6 flare when fully warmed up. I stopped driving it immediately the first time it did it. Thanks in advance, John.
For anyone reading. Same codes on my 2007 Tundra with 239k. The fluid was 2.5 qt low and had a bad and slightly burned s2 solenoid. Runs fine now. If the pan bolts don't break, it is fairly easy to drop pan and bench test the solenoids.
@@jameslemaire8932Oh, the pan bolts will break. 7 of the 16 broke on mine.
