"The National Broadcasting Company is proud to be the network of Super Bowl XX."
-Intro to every NFL On NBC game in 1985 leading up to Super Bowl XX
I can still see the Lombardi trophy graphic spinning up. This was the lead-in for every NFL game on NBC in the mid 80's.
Masters from Huntingdale 💛
_John Riggins, the ballcarrier_
Yes It Was The Theme Of The 1999 Australian Ericsson Masters Golf From Huntingdale Golf Club
Portions of this song was used in the "NFL Films" presentation of the 1983 Super Bowl game: Washington vs Miami. Their edit of this song was simply spectacular coupled with the legendary voice of the great John Facenda. The "Hogs" blocking and John Riggins running the ball. It still gives me chills today!
Yes!!!
"John Riggins, the ballcarrier"
The winner takes all...
It's the thrill of one more kill.
The last one to fall...
Will never sacrifice their will!
Don't ever look back on the world closing in!
Be on the attack with your wings on the wind!
Oh the games will begin!
*And it's sweet, sweet, sweet victory! YEAH!*
*It's ours for the taking!*
*It's ours for the fight!*
*And it's sweet, sweet, sweet victory! YEAH!*
*And the one who's last to fall!*
*Squilliam collapses*
used for intro to Super Bowl XX on NBC.
Also throughout the 1985 season on NBC for NFL games. Man in 4th Grade this song got me jacked up to watch NFL games
"There's a Big Hog in that backfield too, I tell ya'; The Diesel!"
The national broadcasting company (NBC) is proud to be the network of Superbowl 56
10 years after their historic perfect season, the Miami Dolphins returned to the Super Bowl against the Washington Redskins
Twice big plays gave Miami leads
Miami clung to, but couldn’t not hold on to, their narrow lead
It is really dignified.
The Australian Masters coming to you live from Huntingdale
That's exactly what I thought of too.
Where is that quote from?
@@matthewthescienceguy7627 it's not a quote. The song was the theme introducing that golf tournament as used by Channel 7 in Australia for it
@@robertparry4929 Do you have a link?
Sandy Roberts and Jack Newton. They were the days!
This is like the Fox logo theme; it’s technically standalone, but you can’t help but hear it as the start of another song.
