Remy's Ratatouille Adventure 8K 360 VR with 3D spatial audio

Take a virtual POV ride on the Remy's Ratatouille Adventure! Located at Epcot inside the France pavilion, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure is a motion-based trackless 3D dark ride, based on the 2007 Disney-Pixar animated film Ratatouille and opened in October 2021. The attraction's exterior is that of Gusteau's restaurant, and the surrounding buildings of a Parisian plaza, with the queue set in an artist's loft leading to the rooftops of Paris, where guests are "shrunk" to the size of a rat. The attraction uses LPS trackless ride technology, similar to Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway. This video has been captured in immersive 360° from the front row to watch on your mobile device, desktop or VR headset. It has been rendered in stunning 8K 360° with audio that has been captured in true 3D spatial 360° audio (ambix) using a Zoom H3 VR microphone. Ambisonics is a full-sphere surround sound format that will allow you to experience sound in all directions. It's the next best thing to being there!

This is a 360º interactive video! Click and drag to pan camera in any direction or simply move your mobile device/tablet to look around. Be sure to select the highest streaming quality on your device for best viewing experience (2160s in most cases for mobile, 4320s for 8K 360 desktop viewing if your computer can handle it). You can also experience this with a VR headset through RUclips's app. 360º views are supported on mobile RUclips App, Firefox & Chrome Browsers. Also now supported on newer SmartTVs using the RUclips app (at 1440p or 4K resolution). For iOS users, the video may need to be viewed in the RUclips app to enable 360º movement.
Recorded with the GoPro Max (protune on: ISO Min100/Max1600, EV -2) at 30fps captured at 6K with 360 audio (ambix) and edited together in ProRes format/ upscaled to 8K 2D 360 using Adobe Premiere. Immersive audio captured with ZOOM H3-VR microphone for 3D spatial 360° audio
Regarding true resolution of an 8K 360° video:
Unlike standard videos, in a 360° video you can view only a part of original image (approximately 30-90 degrees out of 360). As result, the real resolution of the part you can see isn't bigger than 1.3K--2K (or slightly better than 1080p HD). As of 2023, 8K 360 is the max resolution RUclips can play. Hopefully someday RUclips will support 16K 360 video allowing for true 4K VR resolution and affordable cameras will exist to capture that :).
