Agreed. The songbooks made by Shiro Sagisu are criminally underrated, damn.
I imagine this as playing over a montage of the rebuilding of society after people start coming back from Instrumentality. Basic shelters constructed, learning to farm in the ruins of Tokyo-3, tents turning into small buildings, pieces of Lilith's body being preserved and studied, sea life flourishing in the nutrient-rich LCL ocean, NERV staff discussing their experiences of Third Impact and Instrumentality, Maya, Shigeru, Hyuga, Misato, comforting and congratulating Shinji, Asuka reluctantly doing the same once she makes sure no one is watching, more and more new bodies emerging from the ocean and being introduced to the new world, the first multi story buildings built, Shinji becoming a theoretical physicist and Asuka studying psychology, and tears running down Misato's matured face as she delivers Shinji and Asuka's daughter, Ayanami Sohryu Ikari.
Not sure about asuka and shinji having a child but the rest I can get behind

this sounds so precise man! amazing, i'm noticing the details of every instrument and is amazing!!
When I first heard the original version at the end of Evangelion 3.33, my eyes widened in awe to hear the famous "Next Episode" song with lyrics. To me, this is the best version of the bunch and it deserved to have an animated music video (which was directed by Anno).
If evangelion is off to a calm and collected start, after the last movie, this enjoyable version would be fine to use.

damn, I wish I would have known the franchise earlier. Just saw the series and the Movies this year. But already in my top 5 all-time anime :) And the music is exceptional.
