Man that's the most accurate information about HDR PQ in the net.. but not that great.. Some extra tips for you: 1) HDR PQ is different than LOG. You should expose it totally different. No ETTR. Actually expose correct or even 1 or half stop below. PQ struggles with the highlight recovery but far superior than clog on shadow recovery. So take a look at your histogram and do not clip the highlights at the very first place. It is much easier to expose. But beware.. while using PQ, Canon picture profiles also takes effect. So you should use a neutral profile. I advise faithful profile and reduce the contrast and saturation. Faithful is the most accurate colors because canon magenta is not that obvious. Its more like rec709 colors. Do the same test again. Expose PQ as I said(middle gray at around 35-40 IRE). Grade at davinci and CST rec2020/st2084 to wide gamut. raise the shadows.. You will get a cleaner image than clog3 . Try man :) And make a video about this :) lots of more tips but hey.. I am not a filmmaker channel :) It's funny that Canon is offering HDR PQ 10 bit video even in low budget R10 and R50. They are a huge bargain for the money.
Yes, Faithful is what most of my other canon shooters literally swear by.. Im getting so much insights from you thanks so much for that .. I generally only shoot standard profile 8 bit and CLOG 3, almost never for HDR-PQ as my monitor is only SDR . Will check ur channel out !
@@rodricchan Thanks buddy.. My channel is all about watches and no need to shot the vids on PQ for my indoor shoots. However faithful is always the wat to go to present the correct color(rec709) if u are shooting vids about watches.. dial color accuracy is important IMO.
Soooo, which one was which? I thought b looked the best, I’m just playing around with recording in all 3, I thought clog three would be an outright winner but when tested pq I thought I got better results (with hardly and colour correction)
Cinestyle is perfect, I use it extensively for easier grading compared to clog. Cinestyle is computational where the output is less "processed" by your in camera settings like sharpness/hue/saturation, It is sorta like a baby LOG format while retaining Standard bitrates. In short, you can use cinestyle more often knowing ur shots will have more latitude on highlights and shadows compared to standard, and you get post production benefits to add color contrast and highlight. 9/10 will recommend cinestyle over standard for your video works. The only 1/10 is when you know client wants ur RAW files. Then dont, they dont want to see a washed out video on their screens.
HDR-PQ exposure for full benefit first you need to turn on Highlight Tone Priority to D+ or D2+. Once turned on then you will see better dynamic range. ISO will be at minimum 200 (set from D+). Then expose normally as per your camera monitor screen. You Dont need to over expose or underexpose

Do you know why the histogram on the Canon R3 is partially greyed out?
CLog3 vs HDR PQ cual es el mejor?
CLog3 vs HDR PQ cuak es el mejor?
Watching you grow brother 🎉
Appreciate that😊

Yes, that’s probably our first thought on clog3 being better but HRR PQ can work for outdoor well
a pity we don’t clearly know which is PQ between B and C .
What are your thoughts about Cinestyle vs Standard

想问一下,hdrpq应该如何曝光?
