I did enjoy this podcast inasmuch as there are areas that I didn't agree on. First, I've learnt that there are guys who take dates seriously than previously thought. It was awesome to hear that there are guys who do their due diligence on spots they'd want to take ladies on a first date. Its such a turn off when a guy asks, '' where do you want us to go?". I have the spot but what if its beyond your means? Kudos, to these guys for assuring me I'm not crazy when I get angry when a guy doesn't have a plan for a first date. I also liked it when Owen said he builds castles in the air after going on a first date. Thought it was a girl thing. Let's cross over to the disagreeable part.Isn't emotional chemistry more important than sexual chemistry? If a lady has to sleep with a man in-order to be worthy to get a second date then how many men will she have slept with before she gets married, because I'd want to imagine, that's the end goal. The issue on distance I found it to be selfish and there is a line that made me cringe--' ati akuje kunipikia chapo' and another on the issue of dress code. Anyway, I know this is a bit long and it can be longer but let me stop.
The disagreeable part is not debatable, not a quality conversation unfortunately. These cancels out the positives because the intention behind it is even questionable. Anyway, they are wearing beanies and glasses in a closed room what did we expect. Apa Ben value systems do not align.
This collab was amazing! Thank you guys for diversifying the Kenyan creative industry and pushing the bar that we all can coexist and we all are the same!! More of these collabs please! Now we need Joyride on Sandwich.
😂😂😂😂😂😂This is the best episode ever 😂😂😂naisha jamani. From the nook episode everything was serious and direct with this episode everything is chilled i love it 😂😂love it
Hehe, this is what happens when you take your secular friends to a Church event. These lads were being beeped out! lol Wangepewa briefing Joyride is a family friendly space haha
I agree. Also, this episode in particular had some undertones of toxic masculinity that I didn't expect to find at Joyride, and it made it a bit uncomfortable watching. I hope future collaborations and discussions reflect the values and mindset this channel has implied to stand for through its previous episodes.
@cherrymakena yes Cherry. I think you have put into words what I wanted to articulate. I think because the lady from Sandwich was on the nook they automatically put the guys in the den but wueh! It felt rather off from what we know Joyride to be. I was a but tense in my seat. Guests do need to be briefed ahead of time or alternatively, selection should be done in a more targeted manner.
I see your point, but I also like that they are creating a space where both can co-exist. As Christians we have a very segregative mindset which most of the time can be harmful. It’s refreshing to see spaces where everyone is embraced as they are regardless of how they project themselves.
@sheilla4Real I am not super religious myself so I also love these collaborations. I wouldn't want the guys to have to present in a fake manner but I think it's also important to have some alignment on content and values. Some parts of the pod today rubbed me the wrong way but I also appreciate the conversation overall.
@@imungukalevera8671 Well, that’s fair and totally understandable as well. I see how it could get uncomfortable, especially when we’re used to seeing the pod in a very specific way.
The jooooy.. I've had watching this. I've laughed sooo many times. The guests were great. I could've help but notice the age difference when it came to some typpa slang, low-key funny but yeeeeah.. seeing men who are vulnerable is great
absolutely nobody:..... Ben: natry kumwelezea mbona naenda church, na yeye anatry kunielezea mbona anakunywa damu na anaingia nyumba in reverse me: 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Not me having a dream of joyride yesterday's night😂 listened to this episode in the afternoon reaaly loved to the extent had a dream about it; and in the dream Ben said he is doing 50/50 with wanjiru and i was sooo sad😂😂🙌

Is it just me........or can one just easily tell when a girl is in love (rship for that matter) maahn i don't know how.......but for men, there's just something that doesn't say out loud they are in rships🤔
Ben is so smart. There are moments he seems uncomfortable in getting into some conversations but he nicely covered it
Wish nyamita would have made it as well😁
