It would have been even better if they were in another room where they could just react naturally and then overlay their video onto the chef review video. Then they could come in and do the ending in person. We would be able to get a bunch of better reactions instead of suppressed laughter and awkward stares.
Sometimes it is so hard to remember that Adam and Talia are not married, and Ryan and Liz are not brother and sister. This has been the best cooking show I have seen in a while! Shout out to Chef Jonathan Harrison😁😁(a couple of smiley faces for you) , you are a braver man then I am sir! 🤣
Trying not to laugh too hard because I watch way too many baking shows, but this is somehow my favorite. lol No mixing wet ingredients and adding it to dry, no sir. This is the "what *is* baking powder?" show, with the wet "dough", pepper, no flour, purple lemon cookies. Brilliant! Maybe next time pizzas (from dough on up)?
Years ago when my little sister was begging for an easy bake oven mom took her out to the kitchen and showed her how to use the stove and oven. She’s a pretty good baker today.
Chef Jonathan deserves a Medal of Honor or maybe a Purple Heart (Adam could bake him one). I laughed so hard I had to watch it again to get all the dialogue.
First of all, this was HILARIOUS!!! One of the best videos yet! Second, I went to the Bass Masters Expo in Knoxville last month... someone there was selling BBQ cookies; so, Ryan, there's something you could try 😂🤣
After sitting here coughing my head off all day this is the train wreck I needed in my life to make me laugh, even though it got me coughing again! 😂 I’m also glad I wasn’t the he judge!
Hysterical! Thought I was gonna wet my pants I laughed so hard. Now my stomach hurts. If chef Johnathan had only known what was in some of those "cookies", I don't think you could have paid him enough to be the guinea pig. I mean judge.
This video is so timely! I am currently putting together a recipe book of family recipes for my daughter, who is getting married and setting up her own household. Watching these guys stumble around the various ingredients made me laugh! There is no way to turn out anything edible from an easy-bake oven; good tools are a must when baking 😂
I am from London, England and am totally hooked on these wonderful Southerners videos. I'm turning Southern through osmosis. 😍😍😍😍😍😍 Being a Gran'maw myself, I love Gran'maw best. My Grandmother name is Nanny from my youngest and Nanny Fleur by the oldest, my surname being Flower. Keep these wonderful videos coming please!!
This reminds me of baking with my sons. Tip - turn off electric mixer before lifting out of bowl unless you want to get cookie dough on all 4 walls. Edit: the kids measure and follow recipes - I like to do chemistry and vary the ingredients
Talia: I know what I'm doing. I mean..... I don't know what I'm doing... but I know what I'm doing. I don''t know what I'm *doing* but I know what *I'm* doing.
Talia hit the nail on the head "where gonna give him food poisoning!" Adam: STEP AWAY FROM THE LEMON EXTRACT! My wonderful Chef(my husband of 23yrs)had to pause this video multiple times to just look at me with this look of pure fear and confusion. At the end all he would say was "Bless their hearts" and then went to the kitchen and came back 1hr later with cookies. I caught the brass ring!!💗
I don't recall any of those fancy "grabber sticks". My sisters was just lick your fingers and pull the pan out quickly. (At least that's how she had me do it.)
I would have done you one better and baked southern specialties (like biscuits and cornbread) in an easy bake oven. But food coloring in cookies? Bless your hearts, I'm gonna pray for y'all.
At 4:35, Adam makes an excellent point. A pal of mine is color blind and nobody would think twice about busting his chops, the same people who wouldn't DREAM of doing so with any other issue a person might have
Baking powder is baking soda plus an acid. You use both to give foods lift when you aren't going to be able to whip in air to make it fluffy, but you use baking soda if you're incorporating an acid (like lemon juice or vinegar) and baking powder when you aren't.
Next time demand TWO bowls so you can cream the butter and sugar in one bowl and mix up the dry ingredients in the other bowl. Then add the dry ingredients to the wet and and you've got a (hopefully) viable cookie dough😂
Why wasn't salt included as a baking ingredient? I mean, I don't bake all that often, and I KNOW a lot of recipes call for it. It's an ingredient for every sugar cookie and "chip cookie" recipe I've seen.
My dad let me use an easy bake oven once, when I was about 7. After that, he said “screw it, you’re learning to use a real oven, I want more of those cookies!”
Can we all appreciate Jonathan Harrison for trying his best to put a positive spin on each cookie?😄
Watching Liz, Ryan, Talia and Adam behind Jonathon was like watching 4 school children huddling together waiting for the inevitable to unfold. 😂
It would have been even better if they were in another room where they could just react naturally and then overlay their video onto the chef review video. Then they could come in and do the ending in person. We would be able to get a bunch of better reactions instead of suppressed laughter and awkward stares.
@@privacyvalued4134 I can’t imagine an improvement over what was presented…

I think Adam and Talia are also like brother and sister
"Ryan, you're not gonna see Heaven" is like taking a "Bless Your Heart" to NUCLEAR LEVELS
I'm dead!!😳🤣🤣🤣
"And don't set anything on fire" Solid advice for any home cook.
I love how TV chefs call it caramelized instead of incinerated.
I absolutely admire Jonathan's bravery to just go for it with each cookie. It wasn't just a nibble, it was a full on bite for each.

Chef Jonathan is brave, brave man! This should have been called “Adventures in Cookie Baking,” lol. So much fun to watch.
When chef Jonathan took a bite of Talia's flourless cookie and said it felt like gravel I laughed so hard I had to take my inhaler . 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Years ago when my little sister was begging for an easy bake oven mom took her out to the kitchen and showed her how to use the stove and oven. She’s a pretty good baker today.
Lol
My mom did the same when I was 8
Great mum!
When Adam added all that lemon extract...my jaw hit the floor.
Chef Jonathan deserves a Medal of Honor or maybe a Purple Heart (Adam could bake him one). I laughed so hard I had to watch it again to get all the dialogue.
Ryan wasn't far off. Black pepper is frequently used in traditional gingerbread & other spice cookies. Well done to all!.... !
You 4 are simply hilarious! Seriously hysterical! A little bit scary…just sayin’. Bless your heart! And chef Jonathan is a VERY BRAVE man
Shocked Jonathan actually ate some of them! Love that everyone was so pleasantly surprised by his reviews. Someone get a color wheel for Ryan.
“Ryan, you’re not going to see heaven” 😂😂😂😂😂
That was WAY more entertaining than I thought it would be! It brought back happy memories of my Easy-bake oven, to boot! Thank you!
Ryan’s laughter is a joy
Chef Jonathan is an excellent diplomat!
Impressed that Adam didn't add miracle whip to his cookie 🍪😊
Lets appreciate that cooking is supposed to be fun so this was a great cooking show. Thanks y'all
First of all, this was HILARIOUS!!! One of the best videos yet! Second, I went to the Bass Masters Expo in Knoxville last month... someone there was selling BBQ cookies; so, Ryan, there's something you could try 😂🤣
You guys are hilarious. Oops, I mean y’all are hilarious👍
what gets me the most is that all of those chocolate chip bags HAVE cookie recipes on the back
That was a great video. It would have been fun to also see a chef make a really good cookie in an easy bake oven to show that it could be done.
Doing a blind taste test but with the contestants standing behind the judge is the BEST way to do these competition vids
After sitting here coughing my head off all day this is the train wreck I needed in my life to make me laugh, even though it got me coughing again! 😂 I’m also glad I wasn’t the he judge!
Hope you are feeling better. My allergies have been off the chart this year!
It looked like y'all were having fun. I hope y'all were having fun
Hysterical! Thought I was gonna wet my pants I laughed so hard. Now my stomach hurts.
If chef Johnathan had only known what was in some of those "cookies", I don't think you could have paid him enough to be the guinea pig. I mean judge.
I really was surprised just what things can be combined and still be called a cookie. A GREAT video.
Good for Liz. Her ego was sooooooo invested in that cookie. 😊
This was the most random thing to pop up in my feed recently, and I loved every minute of it!
Having seen how Ryan made his batter I would have been frightened of tasting it. I'm feeling a little queasy now.

"A bad workman blames his tools." 😝 🤣

I loved this!!! You guys need to do more.
This was fantastic. I hope Judge Jonathan brought his Rolaids.
I couldn't help but burst out laughing at the close up of Ryan's cookie, just before Judge Jonathan tried it 😂
Talia hit the nail on the head "where gonna give him food poisoning!"
Adam: STEP AWAY FROM THE LEMON EXTRACT!

Not the Easy-bake oven I grew up with but the new one still does its job
I don't recall any of those fancy "grabber sticks". My sisters was just lick your fingers and pull the pan out quickly. (At least that's how she had me do it.)
Lmao did anyone elses ancestors start hollering stop one shake in 😅
I love y’all! This had me crying with hysterics! 🤣
I have no idea who chef J is, but I adore him now. Talk about a fun guy! It’s nice to see a chef who remembers he’s a human like all the rest of us.
There needs to be more of this type of videos!
The southern version of The Try Guys (and gals)
Harrison: ultimate diplomat!
I would have done you one better and baked southern specialties (like biscuits and cornbread) in an easy bake oven. But food coloring in cookies? Bless your hearts, I'm gonna pray for y'all.
Bless their hearts!😆😆
God, he's brave! Go chef!
Jon Harrison, uptop for your tactfulness. This was hilarious!
Wow! I couldn’t breathe for laughing through parts of this! Wonderful video.
I spit up my tea when Adam said blue and Talia peed her pants.
I would have just read the recipe on each of those chocolate chip bags...🙃
The recipe is no longer on the back, it a completely different cookie recipe.
Ryan was giving PUMPKIN with that coloring, and I was not here for it. 🤣
This is a master class in tactful judging.
think i have saved an easy bake from my kids childhood! this should be fun..
This was fun! More competitions please!
Best channel on all of RUclips!!
Someone once told me Southern cooking was amazing. I'm amazed, but for the wrong reason.
At 4:35, Adam makes an excellent point. A pal of mine is color blind and nobody would think twice about busting his chops, the same people who wouldn't DREAM of doing so with any other issue a person might have
That was so so so good and fun.
I laughed so hard though the entire thing I cried, just the mass chaos😂😂
Thank you for it is been a super bad day for me and this actually cheered me up a bit...
❤ JONATHAN!!!! ONE OF MY FAVS!!!!

Ryan, from the get-go, your's was the best!
I would've have immediately ate your fixins when you were done pouring the sugar!
It's Southern Chef America!!
The judging part made me cry laughing
Thank you for this!
You all...😂😂 I was laughing so much at work watching this when I shouldn't even be online...😂😅
Ryan,
Brah, I use to run with you, but after that pumpkin looking thing, you are BAND from the kitchen. Please call Uber eats 😂😅😂
That was an awesome episode
Great laugh. Well done
Why are y’all not at like ten million subscribers?
I know, thank you for being a subscriber.
Thanks for that, I needed a laugh today
O my gosh, I love you guys so much!😂
You're not gonna see heaven........
Love it
Are you sure that Talia and Adam aren't married? They act like an old married couple.
This is, "who doesn't bake at all" challenge.
Next time demand TWO bowls so you can cream the butter and sugar in one bowl and mix up the dry ingredients in the other bowl. Then add the dry ingredients to the wet and and you've got a (hopefully) viable cookie dough😂
I LOVE YOU ADAM AND TALIA AND RYAN AND LIZ 🤣🤣🤣 how fun was this?
This was fun to watch!
This was really entertaining ❤
Delightful!
Have none of you made cookies before?
This was fun!
Happy memories with my
E.B.O 😍
Next level chef🎉
😂 Talia’s, “Did you just shush me???”
The hat on backwards liz i love it
If only "Chopped" was this entertaining!

"Ryan... You're not going to see Heaven... LOL"
I was laughing out loud and i don't do that often.
Okay! Let's move it up to a BBQ competition!
"What does flour taste like?" 😂
