    The one dish with the round holes may possibly be for escargot (snails usually made with garlic butter). My mom made them often for company, sometimes for us.

    We had those fake grapes growing up in the 70's. My sister and I would pick them off and stick them on our tongues..😂😂
    My Mom would get so mad at us!! Crazy things kids do😂

    FYI= Not all clear plastics are Lucite. Lucite is actually a brand name of an acrylic polymer that was more scratch resistant. You can usually buff scratches off the items even. It was used more commonly in jewelry and more expensive items such as furniture and items. It was not used in cheaper knick knacks very often.

    Weird memory time ... when I was a young kid, my next door neighbor had those rubber grapes in her house and every time I walk past when I visited I would grab 1 and chew on it like bubble gum.

    We had those coasters in the ‘60’s and ‘70’s. They were also wooden with cork in the middle.

    You picked up a white piece of pottery and mentioned Johnathan Adler. It definitely resembled his style. I'm not sure he signs everything, but sometimes the name imbedded is JONATHAN and a capital A in the center of a square, last name Adler. Hope this helps. He did make pottery with that surface, called rubbed pottery.

    The soup-like bowls @8:07 are for ‘shrooms. Mushrooms covered in shrimp and cheese and melted in the oven. They can also be used for escargot. 💕

    My Mom had the glass grapes in the 70's on her end tables. Very cool but, hated dusting them.
    Great pick-up's. Should do quite well. I think some "occupied Japan" items are worth good money.
    Usually 1945 - 1957. It has been re-made by some companies. Does anyone know how to tell the originals?

      Love Naples...make sure to go to Tin City...its shopping and eating. I'm getting ready to head to Indian Rocks Beach/Clearwater for work. Travel nurse stuff. Omg, you have to hit their thrift stores. Last time I got a Dresden plate embossed in 24kt gold worth 900.00. Plus many other amazing items!
