Dear f1
During these 3 months we need to have something to watch. On behalf of almost all f1 fans if we could have extended highlights or full replays of races to watch on here it would be greatly appreciated.
Yes I second that come on F1 😀
Oh yeas!
Give us classic races with full Murray Walker commentary
Organise & broadcast esport race between F1 drivers but only thing would stop is timezone
Lets copy and paste it in every video
Fisichella and Barrichello... fantastic drivers, unbelievable poles...
These two drivers were really good at some race weekends.
Barrichello also took Jordan f1s first pole and fissichella took their last win
Você aqui!
Oh Giancarlo! How I loved that guy. Simple, humble background and fast. He was known as the smoothest drivers on the grid. He even made an unbelievably bad Jordan in 2003 look easy to drive. Back in 2005, I thought a move to Renault was well deserved, but Alonso smashed him race after race. Still adore the guy. ❤️ He made the best out of an ordinary car, and an ordinary drive out of the best cars.
Fisi was very quick a few times per season but at other times just completely crumbled; and the amount of great results he could have had but instead threw away is rather shocking. At best he was a mixed bag to have.
Fisichella always been good In spa...
Didn't JB say he had the greatest car control of all the drivers on the grid
Giancarlo is the most underrated f1 driver. He was really consistent on track
@Air Safety News 24x7 I agree. A lot of weird stuff was happening. Alonso was just too lucky compared with trulli or fisi
Today every non-Mercedes-Ferrari driver is an Unexpected Pole sitter
and redbull
@@kutluhankarakus1991 Even a Red Bull on Pole is almost out of the norm these days.
@@julianbeck2408 It atleast happens from time to time, so it's not unexpected
So what happens if Perez or Sainz or Norris gets a pole position!!!!
Red Bull ocasionally
I would also include Felipe Massa at 2014 Austrian GP. Amazing pole for Williams, finally breaking Mercedes streak.
Williams was one of the quickest teams in 2014 though?
@@Vekkuli001 yes, in 2015 they've finished ahead of Red Bull in the standings
@@Vekkuli001 Yes, the Williams wasn't bad in 2014, but nowhere near the Mercedes overall and for Massa, it was a pole position that came after almost 6 years since his last, at the 2008 Brazilian GP.
@@Vekkuli001 Williams was the second quickest car after Mercedes in 2014 and 2015.
In November 2019, F1 announces to have a net-zero carbon footprint by 2030...by March 2020, they have achieved a no-carbon footprint!
Lmao. Hilarious and said at the same time
STONKS
They missed the mark by a really short margin. Cars and goods were already freighted from Spain to Australia.
I’m definitely more of a Mercedes fan than Ferrari and Vettel, but Vettel’s Monza magic in the Toro Rosso still makes me so happy inside.
Only people who have not watched a F1 race in their lives are fans of Mercedes
@@osospardos2125 really? the team that had fangio, schumi AND hamilton. 3 greats?
Osospardos maybe it’s because some people like Mercedes for their history and heritage in Motorsport.
Osospardos I supported Mercedes mainly because I liked Nico Rosberg, and can respect their engineering prowess and how they keep pushing forward. They aren’t my favorite team, but when it comes to the top 3 battle they’re whom I’d support above Ferrari and Red Bull, both of whom have shown cracks in terms of their driver management and strategy.
0:46 Fisichella with Ezio Zermiani!❤️
The seven times the qualyfing was a rain
Pastor Maldonado (Legend) Gets unexpected pole position with a williams
Fisico and rubihno gets 2 times the pole position with uncompetitive cars( benneton and Stewart)
The way old commentators pronounce Vettel's surname 😂😂
"Vettel's surname."
Vet L
They still mispronounce half the grid, so it's not like much has changed.
Vet-tell
I believe that's correct german pronounciation.
3:04 Luigi gets pole position
Finally he managed to beat Mario (Andretti)
🤣🤣🤣
Im expecting Toyotas front row lock out in Bahrain 2009, ohh and definitely Hulkenberg 2010 Brazilian GP, still got replaced by Maldonado,
Im not very good with pre 2000s F1 and didn't even think of Maldonado, i think because he went on to win though, and also Sebastian Vettel probably for the same reason.
No, no Toyota front row lockout?
Am Nah I don’t think of Maldonado because he wasn’t actually the polesitter he only started on pole and won the race because Hamilton got disqualified from qualifying
@Hallison Michel they were the best in pre season but 3rd best when season began and about 5th when it ended i'm pretty sure, however the likes of Brawn GP and Red Bull were on it instantly and McLaren and Ferrari caught up, but do remember, Toyota only grabbed podiums and that pole throughout the season, so that was like a good example is Force India, throughout the 2010s, Williams 2014/15, and Sauber 2012 etc. Getting poles, which happened with Force India and was No. 1 in the video
@@josiahboatengmyrie Well, Maldonado deserved pole. Hamilton had underfueled car, which is illegal. So its not like he inherited it without actually being fastest (among legal cars)
@@josiahboatengmyrie yeah, no one else turned up.
I may be a huge Hulkenberg fan but Fisi's Force India pole will always be my favourite :)
How would be Top 10 most expected pole position:
1 Mercedes
2 Mercedes
3 Mercedes
4 Mercedes
5 Mercedes
6 Mercedes
7 Mercedes
8 Mercedes
9 Mercedes
10 Mercedes
Dunno last season in the end Ferrari had some serious qualifying pace
@@fosso8803 ok but 2014,15,16...
@@colema5519 These 3 years for sure
Ferrai ferrai williams williams williams mclaren mclaren if we go back on history all of them had dominate eras
Leclerc won pole Trophy in 2019
That 2009 Force India was quick through the Speed Traps all year.
If only they had KERS Fisi could've won that race, what a fantasy that would've been
After K-Mag got his yesterday, I gotta ask: Part 2 when?
11 years gap from one pole to another underrated driver Grande ragazi Giancarlo
The first pole of Seb was just an AMAZING ONE!!
He turned it into a race win as well.
2022 Sao Paulo, Kevin Magnussen: hold my beer
i am pretty sure hulk in 2010 brazil will be in the list
Nice memories....for example it shows how great Rubens and Giancarlo drivers are. They was very good together at Jordan.
Giancarlo in Force India, Vettel in Toro Rosso.... those were good times
Lance Stroll has now a place here as well🙌
Respect Rubens, Rubinho 🇧🇷🇧🇷👊👊
Number 0: Lance Stroll
I'm guessing the Toyota front row lockout in Bahrain 2009 will be here.
I also had that in mind
@@kenlykkeslett7501 Also Alonso in Hungary 2009, Toyotas weren't that much surprise
@@michalsik5888 Oh that's a good one! Had almost forgotten all about it. I remember how chaotic it was when the timing was down and all the drivers scurried back and forth desperate to find out who was on pole
@Hallison Michel Yeah. They were perhaps fast. But they were also wildy inconsistent. Just the very next race in Monaco they managed to lock out the back row instead
@@kenlykkeslett7501 Yeah, that was really unexpected pole :D
Quite happy to see De Cesaris and the Alfa Romeo on this top 10. That car with De Cesaris and Giacomelli I think that they were one of the most underrated teams in F1 history, they had the potential to win 4/5 races, but the reliability and some unlucky crashes destroyed all the dreams of glory for the Alfa Romeo.
i had tears for seb ^^ ...grande
You just have to love Rubens. Such a nice guy.
Who came back here after Lance Stroll did a pole?
AMAZING RUBENS! Pole with Jordan and Stewart. One of the best drivers in the last 25 years!
POLE POSITION MATE 😂👌
4:02 PEE WAN SEBASTIAN
Teo Fabi was really good
Canada 2001. Williams officially returned to the front that quali session. Hungary 2003, and Silverstone 2004 came out of nowhere too. But it's a decent list. Missing some of the "older" poles from before the 80's.
Dear F1
In moments like this, you bring this type of content that we appreciate a lot, thanks and keep it strong together
Giancarlo...god i miss that fella.
He was always a driver who as button put it "was really good at driving bad cars" but give him a quick car and it just never clicked.
How about Jerez 97 when all Villeneuve, Schumacher and Frentzen set identical times?
Toyota were always good in qualifying.
and very shit in the race like toyota always is in motorsport. wrc they cheat , f1 they have the biggest budget and fail , in le mans they breakdown almost every year .
Hearing the way the announcers pronounce Sebastian Vettle's last name as "Vet-Tell" reminds me of how the announcers use to pronounce NASCAR Driver Aric Almirola's last name as "Al-mi-ril-lo"... 😆
Add magnussen 😉
what a great title!
Before watching, calling Hulkenberg as No. 1...
...
I was wrong, but the winner is probably the correct choice - at that moment, Force India hadn't scored a point yet that season and Fisichella's best grid position had been 13th! God, mid-2009 was wild for F1.
I love these kind of videos
Wow! Top 2 for Italian F1 2008,Toro Rosso Sebastian Vettel was in first time pole position!
Grande,buddy!
Another surprises on pole position that could be honorable mentions?
At Kyalami in 1974, Arturo Merzario took his only pole position in F1 with the Iso Marlboro-Ford owned by Frank Williams Racing Cars, but he was relegated in 3rd place on the grid behind Niki Lauda (Ferrari) and Carlos Pace (Brabham-Ford). Arturo said that he was on pole position but the Ferrari asked to the stewards to relegate him in 3rd place with Lauda on pole because it could have been quite embarrassing if Merzario, who came out from Ferrari in 1973, started in front of Lauda, the new young man who replaced the italian. Reutemann won the race in front of Beltoise (last podium for the BRM in F1) and Mike Hailwood, Merzario closed in 6th place.
Vittorio Brambilla at Anderstorp in 1975 with the orange March sponsored by Beta Utensili, an absolute masterpiece by "Monza's gorilla" if we consider that their teammates had a Ford Cosworth V8 engine much more powerful and better brakes (in the 751 Vittorio used the brakes of a Formula 2 car!). He gave almost 4 tenths of a second to Patrick Depailler (Tyrrell-Ford) and he led the race for the first 15 laps, then he retired after 36 laps with a transmission issue.
-Bruno Giacomelli who took his only pole position in his carreer and the first one for the Alfa Romeo since 1951, he gave to the second best lap of Nelson Piquet an enormous gap of 8 tenths of a second. Giacomelli dominated the race for 32 laps, then an ignition coil burnt and "Jack O' Malley" retired from the race. When the car came back in the garage, the ignition coil was replaced, and the engined restarted without problems. A huge disappointment for the italiani and for the Alfa Romeo, a victory that could have changed the story of both in F1.
Fisichella was an incredible driver. What he did with such poor machinery throughout his career. He was plagued by poor luck too. Nürburgring 1999, Hockenheimring 1997, the 2005 season... A super fast driver and excellent qualifier.
Young Barrichello was a pure gold
Who’s here after Perez tales pole at Hungary?
You mean in 2021 right?
Some extra unexpected polesitters:
Bruno Giacomelli, USA 1980
Vittorio Brambilla, Sweden 1975
Pole on debut for Mario Andretti, USA 1968
Pole on debut for Carlos Reutemann, Argentina 1972
I'll add more here if I can find any
You can after this weekend’s race! We’ve just wound up with stroll on pole somehow (thank you rain!)
10 incredible moments but only one driver credited the car and tires for the achievement...
Fisichella gets pole:
Fisichella:Pole position mate!
Engineer:Not bad
Fisichella who put a midfield car on pole position in dry conditions and on the longest circuit of the calendar: Am I a joke to you?
Thanks F1 😀 missing the season so much 😢😢
Ralf is in the video: instant like.
Relive old f1 races, please
Maybe you should add K-Mag`s recent pole in Brazil, cause nobody saw that one coming, that was definitely " Unexpected ".........
Barrichello super respeitado lá fora, infelizmente aqui no Brasil virou motivo de piada.
Please F1 can we have more top 10 of anything, radios, races, drives etc
Rubens and Giancarlo topping the chart with appearing twice.. underrated drivers
Heidfeld on the Nurburgring 2005 and Alonso in Malaysia 2003
KEVIN MAGNUSSEN
F1 please upload some full races of last year in youtube thank you
2020: unexpected pole-sitter: Bottas
Good old times.
Nico's only highlight in Formula 1
Lance Stroll: *I N T E R E S T I N G*
Massa in Redbull Ring 2014?
Until F1 comes back we need to see reviews of historical moments
Good times.
#1 was absolute shocker when it happened. I just couldn't believe, that Force India, backmarker team, has taken pole position. And they didn't even need rain
I think that the Force India had much lighter car than others.
Dear F1, in addition to what #Olly Ward asked for, please consider giving us Spa 2009 where Fisi was racing his heart out, Spain 2012, Japan 2005, Barcelona 1990, Brazil 2003 and perhaps also Malaysia 2009.
rain is a great equalizer
Sad no races but necessary. Appreciate the clips. Can someone tell me what is a polesitter?? Ty
the one who is the fastest in the qualifying session, starts 1st in the race
@@albert2d421 hi there. Tysm didn't have a clue. Lol. B safe !
Ricciardo's pole at Mexico in 2018, pipping Max who had been top of the time sheets until that point, and seemed set to become F1's youngest pole sitter.
I know Williams were fast in 2014, but Massa’s pole in Austria was a bit unexpected, even it being a front row lockout too
New one 2020 Turkish Lance Stroll
After Turkish Grand Prix, Now Stroll too.
N Mansell’s pole with Lotus at Dallas 84 should be here.
Don pastooooorrrrr 👑 the best 😂!!!
Stroll 2020 and Magnussen 2022 now too
Stroll 2020, he didn't get any pole in 2021.
@@KevinAbillGaming True.
Barrichello twice. That's not a coincidence.
That nostalgic moment seeing the Force India in the history books.
All of those guys were on pole positions.
Kubica doesn’t need a pole, he is a Pole.
Kubica got a pole in canada 2008.
it proves once again that Fisi was not a bad driver. Underrated driver, miss drivers like Fisi of Trulli
Was slightly expecting Kimis Pole in the British GP 2004, drove that horrible car onto pole and then somehow got 2nd the next day and won in Spa
I really think that Nico Hülkenberg kid is impressive. He's going to go on and do some great things like wins and podiums
*10 years later...*
Fair play to Fisi getting on this list twice.
Top 10 unespected pole-sitters = 40% Fisico and Rubens!
Dale Rubinho 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
フィジコ 大好きです。
Seb in Monza 2008 ignites the same fire in me every time. It never gets old, never. Everytime I watch it, I end up with a shit eating grin on my face and giddiness swelling in my chest. Whatever happens, I know I’m going to stick by him forever and ever. No doubt about it. He’s is my idol and will always be my idol.
Why not start live streaming classic f1 races ?
Should we put stroll on here now
Seb, Fisi, and Rubens is one of the best racers to take pole in a backmarker car
Oh yeah forgot the Hulk in his rookie season
A pole position but not exactly a pole position: Jos Verstappen in a MINARDI. France 2003... Those crazy days of Friday qualifying produced something for the ages.
And on Pole Position for the first time... COVID-19 :(
You've missed Lance Stroll Turkey 2020 !!!!!!!
Here after see lance stroll pole position at turkey 2020.
Upload old GP s F1 we need something about F1
K-MAG!
