Pac's lawyer did and audit and they found Death Row expenses were being deducted. Pac even paid child support for Nate Dogg. Reggie tried to justify the shady bookkeeping and why Nate Dogg's child support came out of Pac's royalties.

Reggie can you please explain to me how as a security lead, you know how much money Suge was giving 2Pac every week? Men usually don't talk to other men about their pockets, so I'm pretty sure 2Pac didn't tell you himself how much he was paid.
I think at one point he was running the company when Suge had to go in… I think, if that was the case he should know financials. Maybe Reggie will respond.
@reggiewright I understand that, but 2Pac died in 96, and owning the security company doesn't give you access to 2Pacs weekly payroll arrangements.
Just seems odd to me that you always comment on how much money Suge gave everyone, every week, but yet there's never any proof of contracts or paperwork stating how much the artist got per week. Was it just up to Suge discretion and how dumb were these guys to not get anything in writing? Paying out random amounts, leasing cars, houses and giving out jewelry just seems like a weird way to run a business.

2Pac at the time has been in the music business long enough to know it takes a year to see any kind of royalty money from the album you put out

When your an artist you for the label as if you work at Mickey Ds. You work at Mickey Ds. and they pay you paycheck not what Mickey Ds make. In music the label pays the artist for his work he does for the record label the artist is just an employee this not rocket science. Royalties are moneys paid to the artist by the record label. If you don't want to work for a record label be independent, simple.

@Reggie Wright when you mention frank and Kendrick when talking about tupacs monthly but weren't frank and Kendrick both saying that tupac was not happy with the money coming from death row records and that he was calling for a financial audit on his money with death row and I believe afeni and yazmean both mention that situation before to not 100% sure there's allways been conflict story's but never found any evidence to show one way or the other.... Is there anything out there that could help put facts behind the story's either way...... Just asking because with all the different story's about that there not really been much to show one way or the other

@mbreland25, he explained that. Stuff is in Death Row's name (the company) for tax purposes not Suge's name. He said...during that time, companies leased vehicles rather than buy them, because the artists would change up cars so often. To this day many feel you shouldn't purchase a vehicle you should lease it. If I was an artist and I wanted a house or condo, it would be in my name, a LLC or a trust, not the company's name.
