This is a great song if I had to choose between this or Paper Wolf I would probably go with Paper Wolf just cause it brings a bit more of the heavy! However this one is pretty melodic and really dig those synth sounds super cool! Such a unique sounding band
Adam!! Awesome to see you here :)) incredible song and incredible drumming as always, it was never in doubt 🙌I have a feeling Friend of a Phantom will be one of the best albums ever... hope to see you back in LA next year 😉💙
I didn't know you love Vola! You should listen to Blue Light by Einar Solberg's solo album 16, from last year (he's the singer of Leprous). In that song he collaborated with Asger, I think it is a must-listen for Leprous and/or Vola fans.
I’m glad that I watched your video now. Your enthusiasm helped me a lot with the acceptance of the song. I did struggle with the synth sound at the beginning but I’m ok with it now. Not a song for every mood, though 🫣🤘🏻
I'm glad I was able to help you get into the track :) for some reason the synth stuck with me from the first listen, even as something I wouldn't normally enjoy if it was from a different artist. The song is undeniably catchy, I just hope we can get a few songs on this album that have any hints of their early sound 😶😅
This. Album. Is. Going. To. Kick. Ass. I cant be more happy with these singles! I wish the songs could've been longer (with more experimental time or extended aspects) but like you said, I think singles need to be shorter and more to the point. Super excited for new VOLA!!🤘🤍
To be honest, Melt the Crown wasn't really my style... I just really struggle with harsh vocals 😅🙏 and this wasn't my favorite VOLA song by any means but it is undeniably catchy
@@inthedream9127 yeah, wish I could just find a band musically like opeth but with pure clean vocals. Anciients were close. Luckily the harsh vocals were minimal.
VOLA simply don’t miss… which of the singles do you guys prefer so far - does this beat out Paper Wolf?

Definitely this, Paper Wolf wasn't bad, but it's not one of their best
❤

the singers voice is truly magical. would have loved it more if he had 2 more measures of the growls at the end.

I'm so jealous of your synesthesia!

wow its been a freakin year almost since paper wolf.... where tf did time go.
Man that ending is such a tease, could have kept it going
Agreed!! The song wasn't even 4 minutes, they could've definitely afforded to double the length of that riff
ik should have done at least 2 more measures so fkin good the beautiful riffage into a nasty growl dark turn
Wasnt a big fan of that one. Nothing special.
React to "melt the crown" by ANCIIENTS. You won't be disappointed 🤘
