For me, this song is a sort of combination of loneliness and joy. The song definitely does its job at giving you a negative feeling. The way I see it, this nostalgic version gives you a sense of loneliness, as if everyone on Earth had just disappeared out of thin air, or maybe even died. And you are the only one inhabiting this lonely planet that was once thriving with society. Naturally, some places are falling apart due to no one ever caring for them. It's a sad way to spend the rest of your life, is it not. But at least you can find some joy in both the song and this reality. Like, at 0:51, there's a sense of comfort in this part, as if maybe, just maybe, not everything has been lost. Some of the places you see in the lonely world fill you with all sorts of nostalgia. Somehow, you found all sorts of landmarks from your childhood that you barely even remember, yet, immediately recognize once presented. Memory Lane is just overwhelming you with all sorts of memories you love that give you comfort. The memories have gotten to your sanity so much to the point some of your greatest folks from your childhood are right in front of you, instructing for you to take some sort of happiness in the lonely world. Even though they're just illusions, believing them sounds like something that you desire so much. For the time that you've been here, there's only been sadness and misery. Isn't it about time you see some sort of good in your surroundings? Don't you want to be happy again? Maybe living in the past for a little while longer doesn't feel so far fetched now...
I remember when me and my mom got a new house, My grandma came over and helped us paint walls upstairs, she was near the stairs and fell down, almost leading to her death. I was crying extremely hard.

This reminds me about my Great Great Grandfather. I could never meet him but I heard he sacrificed a lot. He was born in the Russian Empire, and when WW1 rolled around, he had to join the army, and while fighting near Vilnius, he broke his jaw. While the Russian Empire collapsed due to the Soviet Union, he lost his home, and had to move to America. There he was a victim of racism because America was way more racist back then. Near 2007 he died Another thing this video reminds me of is my Great Grandfather, from a different part of my family. He was born in Poland and his city was attacked in the Polish-Soviet War. He survived but moved to America. Like the other he was a victim of racism. He met my Great Grandmother, and they married but didn’t see each other a lot because my Great Grandfather was drafted into WW2. He fought in D-Day and broke his foot. He lost his original home to communism after the war, other than the times I saw him his life afterwards was depressing. In December 2021, he died.
This song, I feel uneasy about it. It's like a sad memory. The original, quite on brand, is burning, it lingers and gets you bittersweet and dreadful. This one has no good to it. It's depressing, yet it feels confused. I guess that makes sense, as the original is supposed to be about dementia. But why does it make people feel happy or make them remember good times? My chest just grows heavy with dread and I feel sad. It doesn't seem happy, but I think it has to do with people's experiences. Personally, I look back on my past and feel sad, wishing I could go back, but happy still to enjoy my future. For others however, I've heard they look back on their past with joy. It's not what happened in the past. It's what we think of it. And the music helps influence and support our current feelings of it. That's, at least why I think, why this piece of music is so moving to everyone, even in different ways. It's not exactly happy or sad, but both, and you have to see both of you listen. I’m just remembering how my mom committed suic!de and how it was just me and my sister home alone by ourselves my brother was at my grandmas house my dad was on a work trip. my mom was already dead we didn’t know we banged on the door she had locked it… we did it again and again still nothing. my dad came home early from the work trip and he knew something was wrong the reason he came back early is because she wasn’t answering his texts. He unlocked the door and told us to go to our room I saw a glimpse of my mom dead in a chair the police came my house one of the police men had dog plushes and gave them to us we were traumatized that my mom was dead. We went to Cindy’s house there the police asked us what had happened to my mom I told him what happened my sister didn’t because she was about to burst out crying. This did happen to me…. I have gone to therapy I didn’t talk about it to my therapist I just didn’t want to tell her that even now I still don’t like to. on the outside I’m happy and energetic but go deep in my heart and thoughts and you will see the true my shattered broken and traumatized self. I’m ready to just give up in life dig a hole so deep that it matches the way I feel. for I shall weep and cry at the bottom of the hole and show my true emotions at the bottom. I feel like a stone kicked crushed shamed by my grief thrown in to a never ending loop of darkness the happy and energetic me I talked about earlier is a cover up for the true me and I will keep it that way that I fear if I show this broken shattered and traumatized self I will be mocked and laughed at by heartless people saying to suck it up and move on in life that would be like pushing me off a Cliff and saying you’ll be fine I fear that it will be likely to end in me being in a state so deep in dispare that I will not be able to get over it….. I had a very grown up uncle, he was my father's brother, the last time I saw him was when I was 6. He told me and my brother to enjoy life and continue with our lives. My uncle never knew that my brother was a trans man. My uncle never knew that I wanted to be a RUclipsr and be bisexual. But in heaven he must already know, he still loves me even though I make a lot of mistakes. I'm now 12 years old. Another thing is that he had a dog named Chema I'm from Juarez City, I loved my dog very much, it's like a horrible memory for me, the last time I saw him was almost around Christmas. I was only 5 years old, it hurt me a lot, I still remember the last time I saw him, I gave him a hug before he died from the lethal injection. I put him to sleep forever but I said goodbye to him just like my uncle and my grandmother. This song reminds me of my dog and my uncle and my grandmother who was almost 90 years old, I said goodbye to her when COVID 19 was My dad was very hurt by the loss of his mother, and I told him that we better enjoy life. A friend passed from cancer at the start of this month. He was 13 and he left without telling us. I was going to meet him but he passed four days before I could make it. Rip man.

This reminds me of my grandfather who was a heavy smoker and died of lung cancer when I was only 6 or 7 even though I was so young I still miss him to this day. He was an engineer for the British army in the 70s and 80s i think I only found this out last year. I only have one photo of me and him together it must have been my birthday or Christmas it has been in my bedroom since he died. I remember feeding his cat my remaining chicken nuggets after dinner there his house is now owned by my aunt so I still go there. Cancers a bitch and so are other terrible diseases.

This song literally reminds me of my old cats, bird and my dog. My first cat was Galaxy and i had Space also Müezza a turkish name. And my pugs name was Herkür which is another turkish name. And lastly i had June which was a bird and my bird was watching my sister play Roblox. But Space and Galaxy died because of some 2 kids drowning them. And June was free and died by an animal. And Herkür went missing and we didn't and still don't know what or was happened. And Müezza passed and i do not remember why. I miss them that every night i cry for them.

This reminds me about my Great Great Grandfather. I could never meet him but I heard he sacrificed a lot. He was born in the Russian Empire, and when WW1 rolled around, he had to join the army, and while fighting near Vilnius, he broke his jaw. While the Russian Empire collapsed due to the Soviet Union, he lost his home, and had to move to America.
There he was a victim of racism because America was way more racist back then.
Near 2007 he died
Another thing this video reminds me of is my Great Grandfather, from a different part of my family. He was born in Poland and his city was attacked in the Polish-Soviet War. He survived but moved to America. Like the other he was a victim of racism. He met my Great Grandmother, and they married but didn’t see each other a lot because my Great Grandfather was drafted into WW2. He fought in D-Day and broke his foot. He lost his original home to communism after the war, other than the times I saw him his life afterwards was depressing. In December 2021, he died.

This song, I feel uneasy about it. It's like a sad memory. The original, quite on brand, is burning, it lingers and gets you bittersweet and dreadful. This one has no good to it. It's depressing, yet it feels confused. I guess that makes sense, as the original is supposed to be about dementia. But why does it make people feel happy or make them remember good times? My chest just grows heavy with dread and I feel sad. It doesn't seem happy, but I think it has to do with people's experiences. Personally, I look back on my past and feel sad, wishing I could go back, but happy still to enjoy my future. For others however, I've heard they look back on their past with joy. It's not what happened in the past. It's what we think of it. And the music helps influence and support our current feelings of it. That's, at least why I think, why this piece of music is so moving to everyone, even in different ways. It's not exactly happy or sad, but both, and you have to see both of you listen. One day me and my friends were just messing around in the forest until we found a small wooden shack and for some reason we all went inside and found an old record player but the worst part was when we went down to the lower section and there was a meat grinder and small pieces of meat next to it… the reason I was terrified is because a month before a girl was missing and last seen at this forest
I remember how one night my father said to me: Son, listen. Maybe tomorrow I won’t see you again and won’t come, but I remember if you get sad, I will watch from the sky.

It’s just that this song reminds me of my grandpa, that far in a lot of words that were very famous and some of his other soldier mates say that some of the names of the wars come from him because some are just very dramatic or just something crazy happened, and I did not even get to know him because he passed away unfortunately, but he was still alive when I was a baby yet I don’t remember a single memory of me seeing him. I only see his photo.

I’m just remembering how my mom committed suic!de and how it was just me and my sister home alone by ourselves my brother was at my grandmas house my dad was on a work trip. my mom was already dead we didn’t know we banged on the door she had locked it… we did it again and again still nothing. my dad came home early from the work trip and he knew something was wrong the reason he came back early is because she wasn’t answering his texts. He unlocked the door and told us to go to our room I saw a glimpse of my mom dead in a chair the police came my house one of the police men had dog plushes and gave them to us we were traumatized that my mom was dead. We went to Cindy’s house there the police asked us what had happened to my mom I told him what happened my sister didn’t because she was about to burst out crying. This did happen to me…. I have gone to therapy I didn’t talk about it to my therapist I just didn’t want to tell her that even now I still don’t like to. on the outside I’m happy and energetic but go deep in my heart and thoughts and you will see the true my shattered broken and traumatized self. I’m ready to just give up in life dig a hole so deep that it matches the way I feel. for I shall weep and cry at the bottom of the hole and show my true emotions at the bottom. I feel like a stone kicked crushed shamed by my grief thrown in to a never ending loop of darkness the happy and energetic me I talked about earlier is a cover up for the true me and I will keep it that way that I fear if I show this broken shattered and traumatized self I will be mocked and laughed at by heartless people saying to suck it up and move on in life that would be like pushing me off a Cliff and saying you’ll be fine I fear that it will be likely to end in me being in a state so deep in dispare that I will not be able to get over it…..

this had made me remember about that time where my mom was driving me to kindergarten and she got a phone call saying her dad died. i was still very little and i dont know my grandpa very well at that time but i was too shocked and we quickly went to visit his country. he died in 2015 and now its 2023.. the last time i clearly saw my grandpa was him crouching in the bathroom because of how sick he was. it is so uncanny to see and even imagine about it. but ever since now i remember it clearly even when my grandpa is already dead. i feel so sad,i never got the chance to enjoy spending time with him even as a child but deep down i knew he loved me very much. im afraid that memory will slowly burn as i keep growing.

This is the type of thing i hear right before i get out of bed during a school day 6 to 7am mostly.
This reminds me of my grandfather who was a heavy smoker and died of lung cancer when I was only 6 or 7 even though I was so young I still miss him to this day. He was an engineer for the British army in the 70s and 80s i think I only found this out last year. I only have one photo of me and him together it must have been my birthday or Christmas it has been in my bedroom since he died. I remember feeding his cat my remaining chicken nuggets after dinner there his house is now owned by my aunt so I still go there.
Cancers a bitch and so are other terrible diseases.

This song literally reminds me of my old cats, bird and my dog. My first cat was Galaxy and i had Space also Müezza a turkish name. And my pugs name was Herkür which is another turkish name. And lastly i had June which was a bird and my bird was watching my sister play Roblox. But Space and Galaxy died because of some 2 kids drowning them. And June was free and died by an animal. And Herkür went missing and we didn't and still don't know what or was happened. And Müezza passed and i do not remember why. I miss them that every night i cry for them.
