      Well you can offcourse go to Germany in many ways it's easier with language and immigration but Too many people. DK has much better quality of Life , work life balance, almost minimum crime rate and one of the Happiest countries in the word. so why won't you hoose Denmark ?. I had few friends moved from DE to DK and they never want to go back to DE as it has much better and happier working culture here in Denmark.

    Hello Addy. I'm a recent subscriber to your wonderful channel.
    I'm an old graduate from Egypt, not specialized, 33 years old, graduated in 2014 and has been working as a primary health care physician since then. I don't have any higher degree apart from MBBS. I don't mind starting from scratch and I don't mind choosing any speciality in Denmark later on as I don't have a specific one in mind.
    What are my chances of working as a doctor in Danmark?
    Second question, can I survive on odd jobs while studying the language and preparing for the medical exams? By surviving, I mean paying my rent (a room as I intend on coming on my own), cooking indoors (eating out would cost more, you know)..etc
    And what are the examples of good paying odd jobs that would hire a new coming foreigner like me? And how much do they pay?
    Sorry for bothering you with all of these questions. 😅

      Hi Ashwin, Yes you can work in Denmark with your foreign degree, BUT you will need to apply for an authorization first, without authorisation you cannot practice medecine in EU. Once you have an authorisation you can practice medecine anywhere in European Union. • @AddyInDenmark
      @AddyInDenmark  2 года назад +1

      @@rafefawad133 No, the authorisation may take upto 2 years. Also depends upon you quick you clear the language exams. So they mention an average of years. Because the Danish language test takes place only twice a year and by chance if you don't get the graades required then you have to take it next time and you can loose time in this process.

    Hello Addy thank you for the helpful video. Do you have more information on the subjects of the medical exam? And also, does the test always has an oral section or just theoretical and if you fail it you deffend orally? Thank you!

    • @AddyInDenmark
      @AddyInDenmark  10 месяцев назад

      There is both Written and Oral test .
      1. The written test lasts for four hours and includes questions related to internal medicine and surgery. The difficulty level of this test is equivalent to the requirements for Danish medical graduates. An external examiner will evaluate the exam, and you will receive a score on a 7-point grading scale.
      2. The oral test lasts for two hours and consists of multiple stations where you will be assessed on various specialties. For example, you may be asked to demonstrate life-saving skills or provide explanations and accounts of symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment. The test is evaluated as either a pass or fail.
      if you fail you can object and that will be between you and external examiner on what you agree on.
