I honestly don’t think Brendon is going to leave the music scene entirely. I think he just wanted to close that chapter in his life after almost 2 decades. I definitely think he’ll come back later with songs released under the name Brendon Urie rather than Panic!. For those that are sad about Panic! being over, just remember that Panic! was pretty much a one man band for years, so it’s not like we’ll be missing any band members if he does eventually release songs under the name Brendon Urie. What I’m curious to see if he does eventually make new music is whether he’ll only sing the music he releases under his name or if he’ll continue singing Panic! songs 🤔

That is the biggest question that I had personally cause I know in the PATD subreddit they would argue me down when I said that brendon and Panic at this current point in time is one and the same. An by virtue of him being the only member it makes any music that he makes technically Panic records whether he intends for it to be or not.
@@tommyoliver3767 Exactly, whatever he releases is technically both Brendon Urie and Panic! since he writes both his own music and Panic!'s. I guess we'll find out what happens when he releases new music in the future.

That wasn’t a split up. There was no one with split up with. Only a single man leaving the band name.
yeah that’s not a split up, the split happened a long time ago. this is just brendon “retiring” and finally letting panic rest like he should have when everyone left.
P!ATD had the slowest split up ever in my pov. It started with Ryan and Jon back in 2009, Spencer in 2015, Dallon in 2017 and Brendon took 6 years after carrying the whole thing alone
Only one man officially but Jake Sinclair and Mike Viola cowrote and performed on every song on Panic’s last album and were part of the live band. Jake had actually been involved with Panic as far back as 2011 and his contributions only grew over time.
Although still not really a breakup because the three of them are still working together.

Was happy I got to see Panic on that last tour. Happy he's enjoying life as a dad but would be lying if I said I wasn't hoping for more music.
I was going to see them on that last tour, then they cancelled the show I was going to 2 days before…
so you can imagine how I felt when the break up news was announced haha…

Im a 33 yr olddddd man nowadays, but panic will always be my fav band. Its been like that since 2006, hell i shed a tear when he all of a sudden disbanded the band finally; its silly but i just saw a part of what made me happy end. Brendon is very very talented and his concerts are always gold. Being 33 i can understand being a dad is a full time job, and tbh touring must suck for any artist at that level where you dont neeeeed the money anymore.

I know how you feel! I’m 35 and to this day it says
“I love P!ATD” in small letters on my parents bathroom wall where I wrote it when I was a teenager! 😂 They left it there! And hearing my kids sing along to their songs now that I’m an adult is an awesome feeling!

I think Brendon will come back eventually. When FOB broke up, I HOPED they would come back but I didn't expect it to happen and then it did. I got into MCR after they had broke up and I didn't think they would come back but I HOPED and they did. Never say never. I think Brendon will come back one day.

Except FOB didnt break up. They explicitly said they were on hiatus to focus on other projects and new directions. Big difference
I don't think he will. I think he's done. I'm happy for him. TBH I didn't think another album would happen before Viva Las Vengeance was made, I was super surprised about it. Some of it is growing on me, but he seems tired. Maybe he just needs to be a human.
The problem is: P!ATD didn't broke up... Brendon didn't broke up with anyone at the moment. It already has happened waaaaaaay before when Ryan and John left, then Spencer. At this point, he might as well go solo.
@@henriquecampos4120 Actually, you forget Dallon was in the band at the time and that it was less of a break up and more of a transition after Spencer left. In other words: he _did_ go solo but retained the name. Besides, other acts have done this as well, so it's not a unique thing.
Also, Dallon stayed on as a touring/session member before leaving completely to form I Don't Know How But They Found Me

pete was the one who made panic! famous, they were one of the first to be sign onto his label, so he specifically has very deep ties to that band

Panic at the Disco (Brendon) was in the path to become one of the biggest superstar in music. May be the hiatus is going to stop that hype...

Brandon Urie should just join Fallout boy if he ever gets back to the music scene. They can just cover the Panic hits together.
I don't think that would work. His only role in that band would be to make random cameos in their music videos and I wouldn't have it any other way

Eeeeeeeermmm??!! Taylor York and Zac Farro have been integral parts of the band for a loooooong time and it's a massively collabortive effort where they bring different things to the table and have it all work together.

The only comparison you can do to Panic and Paramore was they both lost the backbones of the bands. Paramore - Josh and Panic - Ryan. These bands are not the same AT ALL after these 2 have left.
The similarity from Josh and Ryan was they were both the original founding members from the band but later found a vocalist. Paramore was started by the Farro brothers from Franklin, Hayley wasn't even from Franklin and Panic was founded by childhood high school friends Ryan and Spencer. Brendon wasn't even from the same school. Ryan and Josh wrote most of the Panic/Paramore songs before they left.
But the huge difference between these 2 bands is that Hayley was never making Paramore songs alone. I couldn't imagine if Hayley releases a Paramore album but only her being the member. It will probably just be a generic pop album (those ppl at fueled by ramen would probably push her the same as Brendon version of Panic.) But thank God we still have Taylor and Zac.

You see the problem is that yes, he is super talented but..... he doesn't use it for his music anymore. After V&V they just didnt make good music anymore.
I think it dependa on your taste. I have been a big Panic! fan for like 5 years and pretty odd never grew on me. I’d say v&v and twtltrtd are way better.

Don't worry. Real Panic fans all feel the same. We disacknowledge the last two albums. You cant worded it better. 'Glee pop bullshit'. What's worse is we do know FOR A FACT that Brendon is capable of writing great songs (Vices & Virtues as evident) but he chose not to, after he demoted Dallon to touring musician again, it became very clear of his next intention for the band, which was to be the backup musicians for his solo venture that he was gonna use the Panic moniker among Panic fans because he's just that shameless

Not a break up. Just one guy left then the actual "break up" happened in 2013 when Spencer left and Brendon transitioned it into a solo act. Dallon stayed on as a touring member before leaving to form I Don't Know How
Brendan has always struggled with the spotlight the band receives.
Is nobody going to ask them about how they feel about Brendon's involvement in problematic behaviors? Zach Cloud Hall, anything? I understand they may want to respect their privacy but it's bugged me for so many years that nobody is asking them these questions, and allowing them to have plausible deniability. Brendon has done a lot of shitty things that are a lot more relevant to whether or not they're still connected than Brendon's literal solo "band" breaking up.

Pete Wentz also did questionable stuff too so it’s probably better to not talk about it at all.

I think your just coping about Panic! not being emo, which tbh I love the old Panic! way way way more and the old Panic! is my favorite band ever, but like I think you need to realize there is people behind these bands and music isn't all a person is.
@@BringMeTheDiscothat wasnt coping. I think if anybody, youre the one coping here. Panic wasn't even a band after 2015. Dallon was still in the band before that awake and alive but out of nowhere Brendon demoted him back to touring member. We still never know why, can you answer why? I cannot think of any good reason other than Brendon himself didn't want a member, he wanted to go solo all by himself while Dallon was still there. We do know this decision wasn't mutual and Dallon still wanted to involve creatively. That's just cruel.
@@munimmisbah2180 But we don't know anything fully about it so we shouldn't jump to conclusions, I was mostly replying to the ego part. I don't think Brendon is egotistical, I mean I think if he was his band members probably would've said something about it. But we will never know.

Why Dallon was demoted back?
Why Brendon never played Pretty Odd anymore (except Nine)
Why Brendon scrapped most of Ryan songs?
Better yet, why did Brendon only play songs that only he wrote after all members left, that is one kind of narcissistic behavior.
Why all members left?
Ian Crawford left in 2012, giving the reason that he "wished to make genuine music" because he wasnt making any at Panic.
Saw panic live in 2005 . They were and always will be style over substance to the point where the music feels artificial

@@ThiefOfBaghdad besides the fact that brendon took the band name without ryan's knowledge or approval (considering that he formed the band, it feels very icky), he also harrassed him sexually on stage (and even bragged about it in an interview) and later during a live video e made fun of ryan's addiction (while he was in rehab i believe). so yeah, time to apologize to ryan ross.
Actually Ryan stated that Brendon never sexually harassed. It is a lie perpetuated by twitter users, because Ryan said many times that stage gay was planned. He never had anything bad to say about Brendon, stop spreading lies
