This hands-on practice has been vital in preparing our crews for real-life emergencies where every second counts. When an ice rescue call comes in, our teams are gearing up and out the door in under a minute, ready to respond immediately. This quick action can mean the difference between life and tragedy in freezing conditions. While we hope these situations remain rare, we’re prepared to respond when the need arises.
