      As someone who loves working with Go I thought that but it is swings and roundabouts. There are many parts of working with Spring Boot I still prefer.

      How often you write a "next gen" application? 15 years in the business and I have not once witnessed a "next gen" application.
      And even using Spring Boot, you can boot your application in 0.05 seconds so it's definitely usable for serverless jobs.

      Organizations prefer easily maintainable Applications over next-gen Apps that save you 200 dollars runtime
