  • The 1971 Apollo 14 Mission to Fra Mauro, a lunar highland area, is highlighted in this video. The mission's primary goal was the collection of lunar rocks and soil samples and lunar exploration. The soil and rock sampling was for the geochronological determination of the Moon's evolution and its comparison with that of Earth. A remote data collection station was assembled on the Moon and left for continuous data collection and surface monitoring experiments. The Apollo 14 astronauts were Alan B. Shepard, Edgar D. Mitchell, and Stuart A. Rossa. Astronauts Shepard and Mitchell landed on the Moon (February 5, 1971) and performed the sampling, the EVA, and deployment of the lunar experiments. There is film-footage of the lunar surface, of the command module's approach to both the Moon and the Earth, Moon and Earth spacecraft launching and landing, in-orbit command- and lunar-module docking, and of Mission Control.

      You seem not understanding the logical process. You can alter image and sound by video editing, but you can not skip time to eliminate the silent part of sound. You eliminate images and the image will skip by the amount you cut out. Don't you understand that? If not, forget it. The 5th grader can figure this out.

      @@ivandelabanque1806 The Van Allen belts are very narrow, occupying a fraction of the path between the Earth and the Moon. The Saturn V trajectory took the rocket through the thinnest part of the outer belts in about 90 minutes, so the dose of radiation was within safety limits. Each mission flew a slightly different course in order to access its landing site, but the orbital inclination of the translunar coast trajectory was inclined to the Earth’s equator by about 30°. A spacecraft following that trajectory would bypass all but the edges of the Van Allen belts.
      Low energy electrons are the ionising particles in the outer Van Allen belts and not electromagnetic waves e.g. ultraviolet, infrared, gamma etc. Electrons can pass through living tissue without creating much damage as they are very small. The Command Module’s outer hull was made of stainless steel and the (upper) heat shield from epoxy resin, which along with the fibrous insulation between the inner and outer hulls was a very effective form of shielding against protonic radiation.

    • @TheWokeFlatEarthTruth
      @TheWokeFlatEarthTruth Год назад

      The Van Allen Belts are called after James Van Allen, who worked for NASA and is credited with their discovery. While travel through this region of space requires careful planning, it is not the insurmountable obstacle that many reality deniers, in their ignorance, imagine it to be. The Van Allen Belts is a region of charged particles originating mainly from the solar wind that are contained by the Earth's magnetic field. The capsule walls and equipment shielded the astronauts from the vast majority of the particle radiation. The radiation dosage received by an astronaut while passing through the Van Allen Belts will depend on factors such as speed, shielding, trajectory, time spend in the region etc. The aim of the Apollo missions was to minimise the time spent in this region of space and thus reduce the exposure to a minimum. Here is quote from James Van Allen himself in 2004. "the outbound and inbound trajectories of the Apollo spacecraft cut through the outer portions of the inner belt and because of their high speed spent only about 15 minutes in traversing the region and less than 2 hours in traversing the much less penetrating radiation in the outer radiation belt. The resulting radiation exposure for the round trip was less than 1% of a fatal dosage - a very minor risk among the far greater other risks of such flights". Take care.
