    Now can we see how long it takes to get water in the compartment using a 30degree fog 🤔. safety for civilians and firefighters is in proper water application. This solid stream is both safe and effective. Nice job Steve.

    How to water damage a building

      By virtue of the fact that we don't know whether or not there are victims in a structure, as an engine company we do not care about the building having water damage. Flowing high volumes of water early will begin the process of absorbing the fire's energy and create a more tenable space for possible victims.

      @@jameselimagness7592 you also have to consider the level of the smoke and fire in the environment before you start spraying around blind corners. Dropping smoke into what might have been a survivable space needs to be considered. Maybe get a peek around the corner and the layout of the room before darkening down the fire.
