- Hey guys! Last week, I got the honor to host a fan meet for Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun, ambassador of Dunkin'! This was my first ever hosting experience and it was at the legendary ARANETA for the legendary KIM SOO HYUN.....(was very nervous)
I know I wasn't a great host but I'm happy I was able to do my best! 🙏 A+++ Respect for all the hosts out there! 💖

Am I the only one crying at the end of the event? Like when Jessica came down from stage and everyone congratulated her for a job well done? Because I really felt her being pressured to do the things she doesn't usually do. Kudos to Jessica and her team! 💛 She does it her way, and nobody can do it better. I felt so nervous with Jessica, I remember my first hosting gig before. I'm an introvert too. It was so hard to match the people's energy at first. You gotta hype them up and you gotta keep them hyped as well. I'm so proud of you Jessica.

Jessica and Kristel have the same thought as first timers in hosting. They thought the rehearsals would just be a soft rehearsal, the only difference was Jessica was guided and Kristel was not, Jessica has PH Producers, organizers and director while Kristel has Korean prduction organizers and director. What I hate is that they should've guided Kristel and told her to give her 100% best.
And that's on the same day! I'm like what!??? Then after the rehearsal, she's being replaced. That's really so unprofessional of them!!
Stop with the excuses. Tinanggap mo ung trabaho so dapat ikaw mismo prepared. Bayad kayo for sure so normal lang na mag expect sila from anyone. Tapos si kristel may prev interactions na lay SIG, so meaning di na sya bago dun. Kung ganyan pala sya ka weak mag isip no wonder di sya pinapansin sa Korea. Baka onting sermon lang sa kanya dun, ivlog nya tapos paawa

Hi Jessisa, I'm so proud of you. You were able to overcome your stage fright. I think you did a very good job considering it's your first time hosting. You don't even look nervous once you were on the stage. I think you need to consider a hosting job if there's more opportunity. You look natural on stage. You just need more exposure to be comfortable on projecting your voice, hyping the crowd's energy, and be able do some adlibs in between. Just give it a shot coz you have lots of potential. You can be his translator too! You're big break is in Araneta Coliseum. Congrats 언니 💐 It's always understandable because in typical korean fan meeting, hosting is not like this. Like korean standard of hosting is not the same way with the Philippines but I will be rooting for more hosting experience for you 언니🥰아자!!!
I feel you. Omg. Back in highschool, my friends would always laugh at me because I don't know how to scream. My scream sounds like other people's normal tone. Everytime I had to speak in front of a crowd, I'd spend the whole day practicing because, unlike most filipinos, I'm not a natural when it comes to socializing or speaking in public. I know it's a no-sweat for most people but for introverts or for people with a low-tone voice or a soft voice, it takes so much effort. I'd literally lost my voice the next day after putting a lot pressure on my throat by speaking too loudly. So I think you should be proud for doing something that you don't often do. You tried your best. You should do it again. It's great to get out of your comfort zone for once in awhile.
This video just popped up and it’s so timely with the recent hosting issue. The difference if probably that Dunkin event was COMPLETELY ORGANIZED by A FILIPINO TEAM, and they actually got Jessica not just as a host but legit influencer duties kaya they are more tolerant of her needing to be guided pa to increase her energy. I’m so happy that even though Jessica is an introvert, she knows her weaknesses, and took the criticisms in stride and didn’t make it more dramatic than it should be. And you can really see that she applied what she was was advised to do.
This is probably the Best memory and experience you have here in the Philippines.

Vlogging and hosting is quite different. In vlogging, you can be chill. But hosting requires energy. If you remember Ryan Bang,he said to project more energy. Great job Jessica.
Adjusting your energy to match the venue or event is quite easy. For me, what sets vlogging and hosting apart is one is live so no room for mistakes, the other isn't so it's okay to commit mistakes since you can just edit them out to make the video seemingly perfect.

Looking forward having you as host if not to all but most of the korean acts. You will be a package if that happens. No need for any translator or whatnot and will be a great bridge to connect fans and the artists. Same goes to you. Keep working and doing what you love.
I remember feeling this way back in HS and College whenever I would host school programs. The anxiety before the events was extreme. On the day itself, my energy would always fluctuate. 😅 I also made lots of mistakes which includes repeatedly calling our Vice Mayor back then “Vice Governor”😂 so I jokingly said that maybe that was a sign that he should run for Vice Gov in the future. 😂

I was there live at the VIP section and I remember how I was so fond of the host, didn't know Jessica way back then. But she did really well and she was really tall and pretty in person. I love her hosting style because it was just appropriate to the fanmeet setting, she's eloquent and calm (so it's suprised me to see this video seeing how nervous she was)You did well! Jessica!
I kept watching your content because of your interview with Eric Nam. It was entertaining, and I really enjoyed your collaboration. Now, you're sharing your first hosting experience, and it's really great to see what goes on behind the scenes. As I watched your video, it reminded me of Kristel. Your production team was Filipino, and they provided you assistance throughout the process, which was really nice. On the other hand, Kristel had Korean production, and I assumed she didn’t received as much guidance and direction to be energetic even during practice. Anyways all in the past now, just please note that I don't mean any offense; I'm just pointing out that the video reminded me of Kristel.

I’ve been hosting since my high school days up until now that I’m in the corporate world. Yes being a host is not an easy task, and I still feel nervous at the beginning of every event. It doesn’t really go away, you just learn how to manage it. So good job for you Jessica!

i can relate to jessica introvert too and I feel the pressure of Jessica as an introvert I don't really like to speak in front of many people but Jessica was able to handle it im proud of you even though tyou had some voice cracks but if that's me i might be like that too💗💗💗💗
Sometimes in a show, we love the host or the artista make mistakes from time to time, it's because it makes more the show authentic and silly. So don't worry Ate Jessica, you did a great job on your part hosting the show, and I'm more proud of you stepping out from your comfort zone!👏🏼 We Ate Jessica don't care so much of the mistakes that are made because we can immediately feel the effort that is given into something and that's what drives us to consider and still be proud for the one whom is trying their best!

i'm a very shy person and sobrang relate ako kasi i'm in a trio band and naka experience din ako ng malaking stage(though hindi kasing laki ng araneta 😂). at sobrang nakatulong yung experience na yun sa growth ko especially sa self esteem.
