  • We went for a quick day trip to Choccolocco this weekend and Brian got a little wild. We ended up over by Violator and he decided to give it a try. If you've ever seen this hill in person, you know how nasty it is. It was wet and that didn't help things. He ended up rolling about 60 feet after a bad bounce. Luckily, he was OK.

      It's a nasty hill for sure. One of the worst at Choccolocco.

      Get with H. HCraft Customs. He will be glad to build you a chassis. He's got a Can Am chassis he's finishing up and then building me another one but he's open after that.

      @@alexbillups8519 Sure thing. He built mine, my wife's, Chris's, Sonny's, Benjamin's and his. He just finished up a badass race chassis for Coty Carlock. Check out some of his work. Not the cheapest out there but the best out there in my opinion.

      Yeah imagine those hits on a stock cage alone. Probably would’ve broke his neck. Quality is worth every penny. Video quality has been good too.

    Glad that Brian is ok. I'm curious what the wall thickness of the tube that bent is, .095 or .120?

    • @SouthernLandRiders
      @SouthernLandRiders  2 месяца назад

      It's all 120. None of our chassis has anything less than 120.

      @@WhiskeyTangoFoxtrotOffRoad yeah I honestly have hit it a lot harder several other times and it never did that. I was surprised. Going to replace the Sprague carrier and it should be like new again. They are tough. And for sure on Brian. It could have been real bad.

    Is it just me but when you flip on solid rock and it bends bars the wreck is easier on the driver but harder on the rig

    • @SouthernLandRiders
      @SouthernLandRiders  2 месяца назад

      I don't know if it is easier on the driver or not. It definitely is harder on the machine. Rocks aren't forgiving like dirt is.
