"That's riiiiiiiiiiight,I completely forgot about the 962"
Said nobody,EVER.
I didnt mean to trigger you,I truly am sorry.
@Jan Nowak r/wooosh
@Jan Nowak wtf man
@Jan Nowak go wacky 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪
@Jan Nowak woah dude, go crazy man, go bonkers.
A lot of these are one offs, prototypes, concept cars. They are not forgotten, just didnt make into production.
The comment i was looking for
ADM J Even tho they dident make it into productions they are still forgotten and left behind...
@@marko1216 It is true, but if u say forgotten supercars, I personally think of production ones. Most concept cars are forgotten, as they have a show and thats it. They either get salvaged, or stored in a warehouse.
@@marko1216 you cant forget something that never was. And that is exactly what a concept car is.
"One off" what does that mean?
That Porsche at the end was one of the fastest Le Mans car in the world
the way it picked up speed, wow:)
That Porsche is not forgotten!! It's still used in real racing 3
Manjula Bai Funny enough I have that Porsche in RR3 as well😂It is one hell of a car to drive in game, can’t imagine how quick it is in real life
Absolutely True..
Excuse me. The Nissan R390 Gt1 was my car of choice in Gran Turismo games. Total legend, never forgotten.
The Nissan kicked butt in GT it was my favourite also.
But u don't need to be rude man he wouldn't hav got a dream or a vision to know that the r390 gt1 was a car of ur choice
I only knew the rx500 from GTS lol
Never forgotten? The R390 GT1 will always be remembered as a DISGRACE to the Le Mans race. Sure it's famous and super fast but it didn't even win the whole race, let alone win in its class. Why do you think Porsche won the 1998 Le Mans GT class in the first place?
The sound from the Isdera Imperator is one of the most brutal V8's I have ever heard
How is the Nissan R390 GT1 forgotten, it in almost every Gran Turismo game
Ty Nguyen also in almost every forza horizon/ Motorsport game too
Look again. It’s there.
It may not be forgotten but it's ultra rare
Jan Nowak shut up fool, want to body ?
@Jan Nowak wtf is wrong with u.Everybody plays video games. And you are not on their side?Well fuck off,you math teacher.
The Venturi looks like something R* would design to bootleg the f40 😂
It looks like a zr 350 from gta
Looks like the vr4 3000gt
Cameron's Music and Gaming Land there already is a f40 bootleg.
Grotti Turismo Classic
xoℲ ǝɥʇ sǝɯɐs Shut up
It kinda looks like the Super GT from GTA SA.
VIELEN LIEBEN DANK ...FRIEDEN und FREIHEIT...
0:50 hahaha looks like a toy
Men don’t grow up their toys just get bigger
I like TVR models, Saleen and Cizeta-Moroder, they're forgotten supercars.
Falo Mesmo, I agree, plus TVR has been the only company to get even their V6 engines to sound like true growling primal beast V8 engines, and their V8 engines are also wonderful.
@@paxhumana2015 😉😉😉
@@paxhumana2015 thanks!!!
@@paxhumana2015 The TVR-manufactured engines were straight 6's anyway. The only V6s they ever fitted were Ford engines. I have owned one V6 and 3 V8 'Tivs'. Great British cars, as was/is the Marcos Mantis in this vid.
if you owned a v8 tvr it was a Griffith ive restored many and the best was my boss and best friends which was a tvr that used the Griffith moniker. 6 were left hand and 4 right hand driver we had #6.
The venturi could be the Ferrari F40's little brother.
My thought exactly. It was clearly heavily influenced by the f40.
Man bro. As soon as I saw that car I thought the same thing . Even the wheels are almost identical to the F40.
Glad I'm not the only one. Had to pause on the side view.
TheLiamis influenced? That is a fuckin’ copy of the F40 😂
With Mercedes-Benz 190 tail lights
Oh that Porsche at the end..... Pure Love!!!!
Perfect Speech.
1986 corvette indy car concept, way ahead of its time style wise. Ultra rare.
Not much of a car guy but there was 3 cars in there I didn't instantly recognize. But then again, I always kind of was fascinated by exotics and project cars.
Project Cars 2
the guy how makes thiss is also not a car guy, most cars arw not supercars
The Mosler in the video ran a turbo 4 from the Chrysler Group.
Yes and also some v8s wish I could remember specifics.
Having owned one of those Dodge 2.2 turbos, I can say that 'ran' was often an excessively optimistic prediction...
Sterling Crockett well played lol
Wow, nice video. All supercar in this list look so so cool and so rare. BEST👏👏👏
Wonder Motorcycles + Thank you! We appreciate it :)
Perfect Speech.
The Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale is just an Italian Dodge/Chrysler Viper. Had that bump in the middle of the back not been there, it would have looked better than it did in the end.
Perfect Supercars Best Health To You.
Mazda rx500 looks like a delorean station wagon.
that Venturi 400GT looks like a Baby F40
the Alfa looks stunning.....of course it does....designed by Zagato
That Marcos Mantis is nice!!!🔥🔥🔥
The Vector W2 looked a helluva lot more exotic than the M12.
It gets so much hate but I love it. Looks great.
The M12 has 500HP and needs 5 seconds to 60 mph, not so good at all.
I feel like 90s was the golden era for cars. Maybe it's because I was born in 90s and remember seeing those gems in magazines. Cars are not the same for me since.
Love the Venturi!! The french F40!!!
All Grand Turismo cars.. EPIC!
Thanks for your videos always interesting...
The Mosler is terrific !
Lascariis + Thank you ! We appreciate it :)
The Marcos Mantis looks unbelievable.
thanks for not putting music to this. the car engine sounds are so sweet.
adriaan nikken + Agree :) Have a nice day
Awesome vehicles, I love this channel.
Michael Mellon + Thank you Michael for kind words !
That Maserati birdcage was ahead of its time
2:46 James May prepared me for this moment
OMG They are not forgotten!
5:06 that car looks like something in the future :)
Well nowadays it looks like an old futuristic version on the MC20
Dude you forgot Lister Storm, Lancia STRATOS, TVR Tuscan, TVR Speed 12, Wiegert Vector W8 Twin Turbo,
Agreed. Those were legends as well, the Vector being my personal favorit of them. it was way ahead of it´s time.
sorry they most have been loonge forgotten😟 😂
stratos isn't forgotten, it's well known on rally series
yeah i was just joking. this clip is just for fun they even but cars from 2001 up to 2012 it too close be forgotten if is the 90's that's more understanderble right?😞 anyways have a wonderful life guy's👍😉
oh i almost forgot, one and only Saleen s7
90s are the best years for cars
No way the marcos mantis makes just 3 somethin horses hell no. That thing sounds like a beast
You are right. The standard Mantis made 352 BHP but the ones shown are GTs which were s/c to 500 BHP.
Props to starting off with the Yamaha!
These cars look incredible!
I'm sorry, but to be able to drive that 962 legally on the street...game over for every other "supercar"...you've all been owned!!
Except for the fact that the 962 is 'crippled' by having a tiny motor, strangled by FIA and\or IMSA restrictions. The Dauer 952 may have been 'King of the Hill' in 1998, but that was two decades ago and it would be "owned" as you say by many cars produced since. (eg: 1,341 hp Koenigsegg Regera)
You Could Be Absolutely Right All The Best Of Health To You As Well
The zagato has a Viper engine. I know that sound anywhere. And its 8.4 liter v10. Theres only one car i know of with that engine
Dom beat me to it damn lol
Calvin Dyrdek Lmao! 😂 sorry bud! 😞
And Fiat OWNS the Viper.
Mike South and they own Alfa Romeo. So its all in the same family, Ⓜ️opar!
Mike South no wonder the viper has problems
The Porsche 962 will never be forgotten, ever!
the imperator nearly blew my eardrums out
also those vektor lights
Dauer, took over production of the Bugatti EB110 SS, in the mid 90's. Then the VW Group, picked up the Marque after bankruptcy.
Venturi, Vector great cars from Gran Turismo with love :)
I remember seeing an article about the Dauer 962 and was intrigued on how they could make a pure bred racer road friendly. Of course I wondered how much they wanted for one so I sent them an e-mail asking even though I wouldn’t be able to buy one. Next day I got a reply telling me the asking price was one million, and thanked me for my interest. Beautiful car. Any one that bought one is a lucky man.
So that yellow alfa is just a Viper with a body kit
But with a much better body.
Remember that race car we all forgot about?
Giotto Bizzarrini, an italian automotive industrie icon!
Sounds like click bait but I'm gonna click anyway haha
I loved the marcos mantis the look the sound and all
Those two are GTs. Marcos only made 10 of them, with supercharged 4.6L from the Ford Mustang Cobra just edging the right side of 500bhp. They do sound rather nice! :D
That Venturi car looks like a car from Burnout
It looks Like a Toyota supra :)
Looks like a copy of a BMW E31 and a Testarossa
It was in many Gran Turismo Games!
I still remember it from GT 2
One or two of these are definitely best forgotten
I think most of those car have apeared in car racing games at some point...so it wasnt forgotten
Just an FYI: The Alfa TZ3 Stradale is just a rebodied Dodge Viper. There are lots of clues & dead giveaways like side exhaust and six bolt wheels. The Mazda RX500 is a one-off prototype show car with a wankel rotory engine. The Venturi uses some Renault parts. Known as mvs Venturi they are still in business but don't make any production cars anymore. Marcos has gone out of business. The Isdera Imperator started out in life as a Mercedes-Benz C113, designed and engineered by Ebhard Schultz. The Bizzarrini Manta was made by Giorgetto Giugiaro when he started Ital Design. Its a one off prototype show car, three seater with the driver sitting in the middle. In the background you can see the silver Maserati Boomerang, and the green Alfa Romeo Carabo both designed by Bertone. The white Birdcage is to honor the success of the original Maserati Birdcage racecar so called because of the vast amount of small steel tubes that comprised the chassis. The yellow Vector shown here is the car made after the company was taken over by investors from its founder and moved from California to Florida. It has terrible build quality with lots of parts off of other cars including a Lamborghini Diablo engine, and Mazda turn signals. The Dauer 962 is based on the Porsche 962 race car. The Kenwood sponsored car shown is a real 1980's 962C from the Porsche factory. The car shown at 7:01 is a Dauer modified 962. Dauer is a successful racing team. Thanks.
tons of very rare cars, never forgotten is that 962 tho
1:29
Just a tuned up Delorean DMC
Wow...
they really know how to improve a Delorean
The Mosler looks like a school engineering project from the 1970’s
Those cars are off their head! Luv em
Great,i had some of them as a matchboxcar :-)
_Phuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuque_ *ME!* ....some of these are juuuust droolworthy.
Oh, the venturi. Beautiful car !
That Yellow Alfa Romeo looked pretty sweet.
Underrated car channel.
Gladius + Thank you ! but we are also grateful for those fans, that we have now. All of you :)
@@CarNewsTV Glad to hear. You're doing an amazing job though, and quality is always more important than quantity :)
The Mr. Venturi looks like a Ferrari F-40 kit car made from the 4 cylinder Fiero or other cheapo. As for the Porsche 962--who forgot that? Where are the mid to late 80's Nissan GTP cars that raced IMSA? They were awesome race cars.
The Jimenez Novia should be on this list! W16 4.0, 80 valves, a hell of a car! One of my favourite
nice car with Yamaha power under the bonnet
Vector interior switches, gauges, buttons and screens are the ones used on actual fighter planes...
The Maserati Birdcage 75 looks like from the year 2050.....
The Marcos Mantis looks like if a Dodge Viper and a Corvette had a baby. And then it got a bigass spoiler, because why not?
A Mazda "Breadvan"..... WOW, how original.
Nissan R390 GT1 looks so 🤩🤩
Good on you for giving credit ...
The Venturi 400 looks like an instant classic
Good information
Thanks
Jack Smith + Thank you jack ! :)
Awesome car's. Great video 👍
Smith performance racing + Thank you sir ! :)
@@CarNewsTV Welcome!
Porsche's are definitely something else
You forgot the "Tatra MTX V8 (1991)", "Lister Storm V12 (1993)" and the "Venturi Atlantique 300 (1996)"
i clicked on this video waiting for the lister storm to show up.
I thought that was a Porsche 917 LH in the thumbnail. Oh well...
Amazing cars and video good job 👍
Frank Pineda + Thank you Frank ! :)
The 408hp Venturi was a 3l V6 bi-turbo [sic!].
May i respectfully suggest noting how many of each of these were produced?
Although most of them aren't v12s but still they sound pretty awesome
The old Lamborghini urus is forgotten and really rare
The Mosler Consulier was equipped with either:
2.2 L Turbo II & Turbo III I4
5.7 L LT1 V8
6.3 L small-block V8
The footage clearly presents the meagre sound of a 2.2l I4 Turbo...
The only Bizzarrini Manta ever made, was completely disassembled by a previous owner. It was in Packing Cases. Many thought it was lost, sent to a crusher. It was shown at Pebble Beach a few years back. It had cost a fortune, to buy and restore it.
Bizzarrini was the guy who created the Ferrari 250 GTO.
I will miss these cars. Marcos Mantra, Venturi 400GT, Vector M12 (they forgot W8 Twin Turbo) AND Dauer Porsche 962.
TZ3 was not an Alfa Romeo. Zagato, the Carrozzeria (Coachbuilders) just rebodied the later Dodge Viper GTS. The TZ1 and TZ2, were Alfa Romeo's.
You can tell that by the V10 engine. Audi/Lamborghini are the only Europeans to use that configuration, and then it's 5 Litre capacity.
The Mazda RX 500 looks ugly with that station wagon back, lol, like Venturi looks good.but they could have gotten rid of that big spoiler. The Manta has too much glass, Masertia looks cool with upper stack shotgun exhaust.. Good video
10,000 rpm engine on the Yamaha sounds insane! 🙀
The Marcos Mantis had a SUPERCHARGED 4.6l V8.
You should point out, if we are talking N/A, turbo or compressor.
Only forgotten by people who are not car nuts! I've driven 3 of those :O
Vector was the only one I had ever seen that Mercedes was sick!
The middle of this video with the Venturi and Mantis makes me think someone was playing Test Drive 6 as a kid
The Mosler sounds like it has an inline 4 and looks like it was designed by Homer Simpson.
Marcos mantis looks like a wide and short tvr cerbera speed 12 and the venturi 400 looks like a mini f40.
4:30 what are the silver and the green cars at the background? i think i had a matchbox toy of the green one back in 20th century.
we've been click-baited! the car in the thumbnail isn't here! my lil bro owns one
Nice... I miss Bristol Fighter in the list.
Finally, a video that shows my favorite car the Dauer 962.
Zack Seven :)))
I have 2 my son owns 1 that’s pink
I helped work on them
Je ne roule qu'en anciennes atmo.😉
