The Japanese characters that show up in the title 弾丸列車 is not the Japanese word for the bullet train that is in use right now. The Japanese word for bullet train is actually Shinkansen, written 新幹線. 弾丸列車 is actually a literal translation of bullet, 弾丸(dangan), and train, 列車(ressha). CinemaSins, I think you may have missed one. When the doctor is poisoned (~14:00), you comment that the villain only had to spray the poison on the surgical tools while at the wedding they had to eat the poisoned food. However, the doctor would never even have touched the sterilized tools with his bare hand - he would have been wearing his non-permeable surgical gloves from the moment he entered the room. Not even skin contact? That poison has a mind; it just kills whoever it wants to.
Hi, a year late. I think that the prince actually is shown spraying the doctors face mask in a flashback. So, he would have just inhaled it, effectively eating it.
About half of the sins you gave it are basically just sinning the anime tropes that it's ripping off. The random slow-mo, the excessively detailed backstory, everything, it's just a live action anime and I love it.
02:00 Having recently been to Japan I can tell you this is incorrect. The express trains only stop for a short time at each station, you don't have time to get off to get stuff at the station, that's why there's the lady with a snacks and drinks cart on the train, and the PA speaker warns you to be ready to get off as soon as the train stops if it's your stop. Most people get their food and drinks before they first get on the train.
He shows the conductor his receipt bc he lost his ticket BUT the conductor doesn’t accept it and tells him to get off at the next stop. He then has to hide to avoid the conductor at a few points in the movie. Doesn’t really explain where the conductor goes or how the train goes from full to empty by the end, even if the guy bought every ticket. This movie had unrealistic action scenes, but it was also well done and very fun to watch. And introducing a character and giving a long flashback to establish the character only to then immediately kill them off is some masterclass comedy.
@@TheIronMarshall The Prince used Lemon as a weapon against the Father, and Lemon was the one driving the tangerine truck. The White death was indeed killed by the explosive gun, but he was the one who tried to fire that gun, making that his weapon.
It was a fun flick to be honest. Went blind without watching the trailer and was surprised with a lot of action, good enough story and solid laughs. Some unexpected cameos too. Do watch it, it’s great.
I love the details, call backs, lighting, dialogue, etc. Only thing that bothered me is that Kyoto seems to have moved much closer to Mt. Fuji without explanation.
02:15 No, shinkansen trains do not stop for several minutes at every station to allow passengers to get off, do some snack shopping, and get back on. Trains are also not serviced at every station. Most shops are very short, under two minutes.
Honestly when I saw it in theaters I didn’t even recognize Logan. So ashamed to have sat through the torment that was both of those movies and not have gotten the joke
In case you haven't caught on quite yet, the whole point of CINEMA SINS is to (usually sarcastically) find fault with universally loved films. Same with TV Sins, Music Video Sins... The only "Sins" compilation that's the exception to the rule by being pretty genuine is TV Commercial Sins, which typically rags on products that can be looked back on as pretty terrible NOW.
17:40 No, the movie is making fun of what people like ladybug tend _to make_ off their therapy for anxiety. It's a caricature, and actually a pretty good one. It's a bit uncomfortable from the same shoes, but that what makes it a good caricature. Getting all overshary and advanced self-helpy at people is a thing a lot of people do after getting into therapy, especially if they fought opening up to it in the first place, and this is just a tropey juxtaposition that is very in the spirit of the insane over-the-top-ness of the whole movie of exactly that. We all fight with that in the beginning. It's representation, fairly harmless and well made. What else do you want?
You gave sins for Zazie Beetz being underutilised in this movie, but nothing about Karen Fukuhara? You just called her "the attendant", did you not even realise that was Kimiko from The Boys?
18:07 - Had the same question since we never see Magic Mike again either...yes, it would seem by the end that those who we 'need' to get to the White Death are still on the train, but at least give us a glance of any of the other passengers getting off the train, y'know? 🤔
@@subjectdelta4758 That's what is said, and obvi the guy has enough cash to do so, but as they say in the video, does that mean the SHOOSH lady and Magic Mike had their train tickets comped by the White Death, and/or were actually working for him? Let's be honest, facts be told, this movie is feather light on logic and heavy on just fucking up everything all at once as much as possible, so I only mentioned it too because it stuck out to me watching it, otherwise it really don't matter 🙃
No, what the White Death said was that he bought every ticket to fill capacity. Nobody could get a ticket from the second to last stop until the last stop because it was fully booked. So anyone left on the train would be the agents that he hired.
"bought all the seats to the end" doesn't mean he bought them all from the origin. Though tapering down the NPCs in a plot-convenient way doesn't make this whole freight train of shenanigans any more logical.
Actually, the Tokaido shinkansen between Tokyo and Kyoto does stop at each station for only about a minute. I wouldn't even try to get a soda from a vending machine right at the platform when it stops.

Fun fact: all main characters who died were killed by their own weapon
The Prince was hit by a truck, and the White death was killed by the explosive gun.
The fact you can dis it all you want. It's pretty amazing ❤ in my eyes
I've been waiting for this, one of my favorite movies of 2022
I love the details, call backs, lighting, dialogue, etc. Only thing that bothered me is that Kyoto seems to have moved much closer to Mt. Fuji without explanation.
Great movie, and what a cast! A+. Had such a blast watching this with some LOL moments. 👌
02:15 No, shinkansen trains do not stop for several minutes at every station to allow passengers to get off, do some snack shopping, and get back on. Trains are also not serviced at every station. Most shops are very short, under two minutes.
Logan being a Percy is a callback from him being Percy Jackson
Honestly when I saw it in theaters I didn’t even recognize Logan. So ashamed to have sat through the torment that was both of those movies and not have gotten the joke
On a whim decided to watch this, was definitely not disappointed
David Leitch should direct TRANSFORMERS
After HOBBS & SHAW, I can't picture anyone better than him
This is the second best movie with Train in the title that came out this decade
what's the first?
@@taniakim1126 Train to Busan
Idk, I’ve seen some pretty good flicks. Whether they were theatrical or home movies is a different story though
@@Atmaspeaks that is the movie that made me love korean cinema.
@@TBagsNPriceTags recommend me some.
i love that you guys are sinning movies that they actually liked
That's why Cinema Wins exists
In case you haven't caught on quite yet, the whole point of CINEMA SINS is to (usually sarcastically) find fault with universally loved films. Same with TV Sins, Music Video Sins... The only "Sins" compilation that's the exception to the rule by being pretty genuine is TV Commercial Sins, which typically rags on products that can be looked back on as pretty terrible NOW.
@@michaelgariti8008 ehm i guess Dave understands. Come on. Terminator 1 and Back to the Future have big plot holes. But we still like them.
17:40
No, the movie is making fun of what people like ladybug tend _to make_ off their therapy for anxiety.
Saw it in the cinema and absolutely loved it! Best film of 2022!
You gave sins for Zazie Beetz being underutilised in this movie, but nothing about Karen Fukuhara? You just called her "the attendant", did you not even realise that was Kimiko from The Boys?
Recognized her immediately, but I must say that black hair she has in The Boys looks much better on her
18:07 - Had the same question since we never see Magic Mike again either...yes, it would seem by the end that those who we 'need' to get to the White Death are still on the train, but at least give us a glance of any of the other passengers getting off the train, y'know? 🤔
If I remember correctly, I’m pretty sure White Death reserved every seat so that he can kill everyone who was on his list
@@SlickNoir Thank you for giving a better explanation than *the f'n movie itself* bothered to provide 🤣
@@SlickNoir what if someone already planned to get off at the last stop though, then that ticket would still be in use?
This is one of the best movies I've seen in past few years. Incredible
Loved this movie. Hilarious! I want a movie on Tangerine and Lemon 🍊 🍋 😂
1000p we need a Bolivia Job prequel!
The only movie in years that has managed to make me laugh my ass off out loud in the cinema. Genius movie.
Compared to everything else we have seen this year, this movie is amazing, and is probably in the top 3 of movies I saw this year.
2:32 HE MADE AN AMBULANCE REFERENCE!!! Please for the love of god do a Sin Counter on that movie it would make my damn year
Dude I agree that this movies plot was absurd... But God did I love it, one of the most entertaining movies I've seen in years. And simply seeing "Hiro Nakamura" in a major motion picture made me giddy, and giddy I don't do easily
I grabbed my popcorn for this one lol
Ah yes Cinema Sins doing what he does best, criticizing a movie in 30 seconds more time than he said the video would end.
Well, no. The sin timer was actually 28 seconds less than 24 minutes. The video run times always include an intro and outro. So, y'know... *_ding_* for you an' all that...
@@Macephtopheles thank you mister obvious
@@SaintssFann4 Doesn't quite work when you're the one missing the obvious but guess that's why I'm only Mr. Obvious as you've clearly got the Captain rank nailed down.
I really loved this movie! The costumes, the dialogue.. It was awsome
- We have Quentin Tarantino at home.
- Quentin Tarantino at home: this movie.
This movie is so good to me. I really hope they make a sequel or a prequel. I love these characters. 😁👏
There was no lead at the end that warrants a sequel given the white death was the main reason behind this and he dies. It would be pointless. Although things got explained about how it all started, maybe a prequel could be worthwhile, but only if there's something worth telling.
Had no clue about this movie before I watched it and it was good, better than most in the last few years actually.
My friend invited me to watch this movie together and i had no idea what i was abt to watch. It really made my night. Exactly what we need for an action movie. I say make more movie like this.
I tried after a long time to watch one of these and....I just cant. After CinemaWins, I realized it is infinitely more fun to find joy in movies you like or even dislike than it is to nitpick and fault movies.
Doesn't help that so many of the sins that are meant to be real nitpicks are incorrect and so many of the sins that are meant to be jokes are unfunny.
I used to enjoy this channel back when I was a cynical, edgy middle schooler. Not so much anymore. Me and my buddies watched this movie at like 11pm-1am last weekend and had a great time, idk wtf Jeremy was smoking before he decided to rag so much on it.
I am so glad someone pointed out that the kids on a ventilator and a pillow over the face would mean nothing. Definitely my favorite sin in a while xD
NOTHING! This movie was so full of action. Don't pad the sin counter Jeremy
You know the show BARRY?? (The clip at the end of the video where a guy talks about how he saw someone flick a cigarette at a bird while they were walking out of a discotheque)
I love that show!
I can't fathom how but this is my favourite movie, at least in the action-comedy genre. It made 0 sense and was perfectly logical, it dragged on yet was entertaining the whole way through. Also the truck at the end lmao.
21:20 It is shown a bit earlier in the movie that the poison wont work if you got a recent antidote. I know it doesnt show Hornet taking one, but its at least some kind of explaination
I really like the fact that low story high action films are coming back (top gun, this and john wick
They are all amazing films to just turn your brain off and have fun while watching them
Sin off for the White Death screaming “DO NOT CALL ME BRO” before blowing his own face off!
I absolutely loved this movie so much that I watched it I think at least 5 times in theaters.
Just watched this on Friday! This is two movies where the video drops right after I watched the movie lol
Nothing but happy accidents and I love the water bottle scene 💯👍
9:16 the juxtaposition of "mi Corizon" was totally worth the wolf's backstory montage.
I feel like this guy spends hours trying to find an excuse to add to the counter. I like this movie and was actually feeling like watching this video to just enjoy and maybe even agree with. But BRO. "I swear this movie is 5% people saying the name carver". It's like watching a movie with an angsty grandpa who just wants something to complain about. Sorry for not being civil but I couldn't help but say something. I mean, 1 million people watched this vid bud, 28 thousand liked actually liked it...
This was one of the best films I saw in 2022! Great script and performances! One of my favorite Brad Pitt roles of all time.
For a moment I thought he was going to mention Hiro as the ticket agent, but forget Katana as the snack cart lady. AND HE DID!
Noone remembers Katana, now if you had said Kimiko then everyone would be like "from The Boys!"
