My guess is that they’ll do a dark side separatist GL this year, either Tyranus or Chancellor Palpatine and then do a Yoda GL next year for the 20th anniversary of Revenge of the Sith where he leads the leftover Jedi Council members with some new ones as Marquees and possibly a conquest General Windu as a lifter. Then we’ll get Thrawn and Ashoka for the new Mando movie
Separatist is definitely the faction needing a GL the most, and in my opinion the most likely to get one. In theory, it should be a chancellor palatine as he was the leader, but most people would support a GL dooku or grievous. That's where my money would go.
Vitiate's Valkorion form is probably the most iconic imo. it's also more crisp. definitely could have the other two forms but Valkorion was kinda the endgame form for him similar to Palpatine's SEE form

The problem with attempting to do the other episodes is most of the GL worthy characters already have a GL or were not a big part of that story. Dooku and Yoda for episode 2 for sure. but episode 1 has Maul and QGJ both of which those versions are in the game. Ep 4 you have luke, leia, han and vader. 3 of which already have GLs and the other already has 5 versions that have been covered. episode 5 you again have Vader and Luke as the only real contenders both of which those versions exist and theirs a GL for each already. Episode 7 could take Snoke but his appearance was minimal at best and overall feels more like a lifter unit. And theirs no real counter part to him.
If they are doing anything from the Ahsoka Series, they'd better start with WBW Anakin. Lord Vader was a disappointment, and General Skywalker is no longer what he was. We need a legitimate GL Anakin!
Grievous is missing his cape. That makes all the difference. My pick for the crime boss GL that will never happen is Prince Xizor, from Shadows of the Empire. Stated as being the third most influential individual behind Vader and the Emperor.
How we still leaving out droids? This game has two Moff Gideons and just one of the most iconic SW characters: R2D2. Droids will need a GL at some point and R2D2 has made an appearance in almost every Star Wars, he’s active in the actual wars, just give him a poncho and, boom, GL R2!
I would really like the idea of a neutral Sheev Palpatine/Chancellor Palpatine, that gives out like different bonuses whether his team is Republic or separatists and maybe even has two different Ultimates? The only real problem I see with this is that he, of course, already has a GL with SEE.
I’ve been a strong advocate for a chancellor palps for ages. I still think it would work. Different faction, different alignment, different appearance, and is arguably the most important version of Palpatine. It could give characters like Padmé and Mothma new homes, we could get Bail, blue-horned-senate-guy. Jar Jar could even slot into the team if you really wanted 😂
I think the most important characters to the canon Star Wars universe that we don’t have as GLs already are Ahsoka, Yoda, and R2/3po. I really have a hard time seeing r2/3po after leia last year was both a rebel GL, which is both of their most well known/associated faction, and the fact that they lifted the only r2 we have in game as one of the core 3 members of leia’s squad. Obviously not impossible (they had boussh with Jabba and then leia next year), but I think it doesn’t seem like where Star Wars is right now. I think Ahsoka is probably the most likely, I think she’s probably the most relevant character we don’t have right now. The only thing I see against her is that she’s the only GL we’d have that’s not from any of the 9 main movies, so she might be less iconic in that sense. They’re gonna have to start pulling GLs outside of the movies at some point though, and Ahsoka I think is the best place to start. If I put down money it’d be on her. Yoda also makes sense, definitely an iconic character and it is phantom menace year. I thought one of the biggest roadblocks was not having an iconic enough version, but I think master qui-gon showed they don’t mind adding in essentially the same character with a different name. I think the main thing that would make it weird right now is that they just released Queen amidala. I don’t mind repeating factions, and even though we already have a gr and Jedi gl, they’re wide enough we could make it work. The problem is I think she just kinda steals all the good leftover GR characters now, I don’t see her as a yoda lifter and it would be weird to put her team out of commission a few months after release
I'd like to see a GL General Solo with a General Calrissian, General Madine, Rebel Veteran Rex, and Nien Numb as the marquis characters. Minimum relic requirements could include Paploo, Young Han, Vandor Chewie, Stormtrooper, Probe Droid, etc. I also like the idea of Crimson Dawn Maul. Qira could be a minimum relic requirement for that event. And as much people don't use the Solo characters, they're required for certain ROTE TB encounters. If you and your guild are playing the long game then that's a huge win.
Two videos I feel we desperately. Need updates for are.. 1. Crit dmg vs offense triangle ( been playing 5 years and still unsure when to use crit dmg triangle) 2. Galactic Legend Ultimate ability breakdown. Lots of people have Rey, Slkr, Jml, but don't know all the ins and outs of their ultimate. I still hear questions all the time about Rey and what buffs and debuffs do and what her inspiration is doing.
Great take on this issue. A few questions: Do you believe that we might NOT have a GL this year? About Capital Ship... nothing is being said also... Red 5... It became a joke, yet, it's an Iconic Ship and something that CG will profit a lot. So...what are they hiding? Darth Vader. We have LV.... but the black-cladded version is the utmost Icon for SW. Could you ever see a possible version of him as a GL? maybe with Imperial 501st as team?
With all the characters from Star Wars lore (canon or not), this game has so much possibility of who comes next... 🤔 My SWGOH Wishlist is: 1.) Red 5 2.) Ship Raid 3.) Rakghoul 4.) Terentatek (maybe even a raid using only Jedi, Sith, Unaligned Force Users.) 5.) And finally Jek Tono Porkins and his famous *Belly Run... 😅 *The Porkin's Belly Run (a Flight Maneuver) was named after him by The Resistance.
Force Ghost Yoda would be awesome, and could be the excuse to make outdated GR jedi relevant. His ultimate could be summoning lightning and setting everything on fire. Snoke could be the counterpart, leading Knights of Ren/DS UFUs. Chancellor Palpatine, despite having the GR tag, would be the suitable GL to lead Separatists.
Don’t get me wrong I love me some SWTOR content (just look at my pfp) but I doubt they will add much more, especially as far as GLs go. I have said in the past that Vitiate would be an amazing GL to add, but I don’t think Disney would get behind it. If any of you haven’t played SWTOR please check it out. Probably my favorite SW game of all time. Others being SWGOH and Republic Commando. SWTOR is free (unless you want the extended story, then you have to get at least a 1 month subscription. You get to keep playing the story even after the sub expires. You only need to get it once to unlock the story. But take all that with a grain of salt, I haven’t actually gotten around to subscribing for the story yet) and has many different character options (my favorite out of the ones I’ve played is by far Sith Inquisitor-> Sith Sorcerer) hours apom hours of fun. I believe there is a reason that CG never did the Jedi Exile. if you take note both Revan's kits. Revan is treated as a Gender neutral character because their gender is determined by the player. Revan is always referred to in game by name or with gender neutral pronouns. This is also why Revan always wears their mask (besides it being ICONIC to them.) but essentially you have a character whose face you never see and whose kit is neutral. the Jedi exile however doesn't ahve an iconic mask to cover their face as they too are a character of player choice. So unless they made them wear a hood that obsurred their face which like revan could have been whatever the player wanted them to be i dont imagine they will do it. i actually really respect CG for actually honoring the fact that Revan and the Exile are player avatar characters defined by the players and have not tried to impose on that.

I always humored the thought of Maz Kanata as the LS Scoundrel / Smuggler GL to contrast Jabba the Hutt's Cartel / BH synergy, but... Well, it's Maz. If she's ever added she would probably fill a role similar to Hoda. Still, it's a neat thought.
I really wish they’d go into the post-ROTJ era of the old EU/Legends. They already have Disney master Luke but imo they should do Legends Grandmaster Luke. They already have a member of Legends Luke’s New Jedi Order in Kyle Katarn. Add Jedi Leia, the Solo children (Jacen, Jaina, and Anakin, hell give Jacen a Darth Caedus character too), Ben Skywalker, and a Jedi master Mara Jade Skywalker. Hell they can even go to the Legacy period and add Darth Krayt or Cade Skywalker considering Darth Talon is already in game and she answers to Darth Krayt
Well vitiate seems to be the next one. So there’s relatively 2 main forms of vitiate, sith vitiate and valkorean. Vitiate though, we have relatively everything we need, we have revan, malak, malgus, leviathan, bastila and all those OR Jedi, we have sith assassin, sith trooper, all those, all we really need is scourge, meetra surik, hero of tython and maybe mandalore the ultimate, other than that there’s no one else vital to the story of vitiate. Now valkorean, we need arcann , the exile, senya, and outrider and a few other people. As of rn based on how they recently just gave a new capital ship for revan which included the introduction of malgus and his star fighter, I’d say vitiate is coming

regarding a GL Ahsoka, she would no doubt come a a jedi training Sabine and a hermit Ezra. she could be like a Leia where you just need those 2 and any 2 UFU characters to make a team. the big question then is would she will her team be only lightside or will it be for both light and dark? if it's only lightside we would need more characters so as not to break up any existing teams. but if she were to allow both than she could pick up og Kylo and stick rey. to form a full team. also a possiblity given that leia brough 4 new characters for her GL farm, they could just have you farm her entire with and add Baylan and Shin. all that said, i do believe you are right that its probably too soon in their character arc for a GL. not likely until after the mando movie
I would like a "head of the council yoda" with a jedi council team, that finally could give a definitive home to Kam, maybe windu, and its a good oportunnity to get yaddle and Jedi master dooku, and for counterpart you could bring a palpatine gl with an order 66 ult xD
I am still on Old Republic train. We have every antagonist from KOTOR2, but none of the heroes. Handmaiden, Bao-Dur, Atton. I mean The Exile Legendary would be awesome. Or at least a Conquest character.
I think Veteran Smuggler Lando is a great candidate for a Scoundrel LS GL. Lando is obviously one of the more recognizable characters (having been in 2 of 3 trilogies). The Veteran iteration may not be the most known one, but it does provide a new toon/skin. We gloss over the RoS for... obvious reasons.. but Lando was essential in that movie for the fate of the galaxy. He runs into the Maul issue that "no one is talking about Old Lando right now"
They won't make Vitiate because they gave his Sith Eternal Emperor title to Disney presents Palpatine. There's already I think 3 Ahsokas in the game and we don't need another Chewbacca where there's 8 Wookies and 5 are Chewie.
I’d love GL Revan Reborn, but I also like toying with the idea of maul. Maybe add a new cad bane into the mix as a req since he worked for the pykes and add Dryden and a few other key characters and I’d love to see it
I could see GL Din Jarin after his movie, especially if he saves the new republic in some way. Could see them creating a new republic faction to mirror imperial remnant and his movie version could lead that squad.
Could get a new Hera plus other characters from the movie/show that we haven’t gotten yet. Axe woves, the night owl chick, Car Sentiva, Bill burrs character.
They can have Vitiate (Valkorian) as the immortal emperor which i would like to see in the game, I also want to see Darth Marr and the Sith harrower class destroyer in the game as well.
Slave Anakin, Heir to the Empire Thrawn, Revan Reborn, Chancellor Palpatine, General Calrisian, Supreme Leader Snoke, General Leia Organa, Satele Shan all work at GLs.
They could be building to a high republic GL because let’s be honest with the acolyte having come out we are definitely going to get a slew of high republic characters. But it probably isn’t this coming GL, but possible the next one.
I think they'll do a Master Sol GL in a year or two who will serve as a High Republic lead.Having marquees,let's say Jecki Lon,Yord,Indara and Kelnacca,Vernestra Rwoh or Osha.Sol being a support,Jecki and Yord attackers,and Indara or any of the three being tanks.I am currently farming Light Side Revan in prep for the High republic jedi so I can form a team.
Looking at factions that need some bit of kick, you have Separatists, Old Republic, both light and dark side scoundrels. A GL that synergizes with clones could be really cool. We know that they like to lift factions with GLs, and as of late, it also seems to be tied to raids more often than not. But the ones that I would dump my growing crystal hoard for, would be either Revan Reborn or Emperor Vitiate.
So, I don't think Thrawn's story not being done is a deal-breaker, for the simple fact that Din Djarin and Ahsoka are also in the same boat, and I don't think CG will want to wait on all three of those characters, because things start to pile up. I think the Nightsister and Imperial Remnant freebies in June are pointing to *something* and I just can't see any other option at this point other than a Thrawn GL (or, I suppose, the Eye of Sion as a capital ship, though that has other issues) coming this Fall.
We need a GL Cad Bane who really represents what his capable of, because the regular Cad Bane It's so bad, and the Cad Bane we know, can do a duel against a Jedi without a concern.
Rather late to the party, but an interesting GL idea is a Separatist Queen Karina the Great of Geonosis. Would imply a leftover Geonosian, but Seps are the last major faction without a GL.
Snoke? Make use of all the leftover FO characters everyone bought in the lightspeed bundles. Despite RJ criminally abusing that character in the “Star Wars” movie that shall not be named, Snoke made for an interesting and powerful character and is not in game yet.
i think snoke should be a marquee or Conquest unit especialky when he, general pryde Pyre and Vonreg are the only prominent characters in the first order that haven't arrived yet in galaxy of heroes.
As someone who loves the Seperatists and especially Dooku, I don't think he or Grevious really have enough "star power" to be a Galactic Legend. If it was up to me, I would say Chancellor Palpatine serving as a dual GL for maybe Clones and Seperatists. You could give him slightly differing buffs/moves depending on which faction you use him with (sort of like we're seeing now with Luthen's Curator/Axis buffs). Maybe something like with a full team of Seperatists Palpatine has permanent stealth and all allies get a speed buff (Schemer buff) or if all allies are clones they get a buff to offense and Palpatine gets a big buff to defense (Inspired or Guarded buff). I think the biggest issue with this is balancing it properly. You wouldn't want to take away units from other teams (Specifically Droids, Geos, and 501st) and you'd want to balance it in a way where each team option has a situation where its ideal. How do you do this? I genuinely have no clue if it's possible, I just think it's a cool idea. They would definitely need to release at least 2 new generic clone troopers and probably add in synergies with the specific units they want him to interact with (New Clones, Cody, and Sarge or Dooku, Wat, Trench, and Gunray) to encourage specific teams. As I said, it very likely might be too complicated, I just think it'd be so cool, and Supreme Chancellor Palpatine definitely deserves to be in the game
Yeah I can't really see Palp leading seps at all. Even if we got a senate version of him I think the best they could do synergy wise is "Sith" to let him work with Dooku or OG Maul

Id like JKR GL to bring in the remaining characters in kotor specifically malaks apprentice darth bandon , and calo nord (bh need new toys), and bring in the kotor 2 characters companions go-to (droids), hanharr (bh tank for 2nd bh team), atton rand scoundrel, bao-dur not sure what tag he go, handmaiden brianna unsure if her tag, mira bh attacker, disciple mical, mandalore (ds mandolorian), and villians like atris (dsufu), and have a journey character the exile meetra surik (lsufu) similar to JKL to lead into GL revan journey so we get all the kotor 2 characters in. Although i wonder if the kotor 2 companions have to function like kyle to where they ramp up to be jedi or force user like in the game.
I never realized how badly I wanted Calo nord until I read this. Kotor is far and away the best video game in the star wars universe. I feel like I only play swgoh to fill the kotor sized hole in my heart
i have a feeling if swtor characters come to the game, i'm hoping Valk is the GL, Vaylin is The epic confrontation unit and Arcann having the same thing is revan. oh and as for Seperatist GL the thing that probably makes alot of sense would be, Grievous(Hypori). but they still have to rail alot of ground work -Lana Beniko -Theron Shan -Koth Vortena -Satele Shan -Darth Marr -Scorpio -Senya tirall and many more
Personally I think they should go with Yoda as a GL. Though I doubt he’d be the next one. Perhaps it’s because I’m rewatching The Clone Wars right now, I was thinking a Senator Palpatine might be an interesting GL. He could use both light side and dark side characters in his team like Jabba does. CG could create a couple of new characters but then also rework or give new life to some older characters people have, but aren’t using. He’d also be a good choice as I’m sure CG, will start think of Attack of the Clones content, though that would be next year for the 25th anniversary, I think.
It would be really nice to see a Cal Kestis GL when the final game is about to be released in my opinion. I'm also a big fan of a Maul and/or Seperatist GL (and a Lucrehulk for fleets!)
I feel like Darth Marr would be more "accessible" as a character than Vitiate, mostly because Marr has associations with more characters than Vitiate did.
I could also see a new Ahsoka along with new Ezra and Sabine Sabine could be similar to Kyle Katern and Mara Jade with using both a blaster and light saber in each hand

I could understand all of these Ideas to the next Galactic Legend, but anything else but Revan Reborn would let me cry for month. With the Leviathan last year, i'm 100% shure we will get Revan Reborn, but at the end it was endor Leia... yeah -.- ... Not even here Iconic Look in white shes been 99% of the time in, weither in comics, films, tv shows or games. But Revan Reborn in my opinion is not an Old Republic Character, instead he would be an neutral Unaligned Force User. Because, at this point, he isnt a Jedi anymore, he isnt a Sith anymore so UFU is fairley clear. And he isn't at the republic anymore, neither the sith empire. It would make no sense if he is for one of these two factions. As the Revan Reborn anything knows, hes weilding both of his lightsabers and fight against both factions.
Instead of Syndicate Maul, do Prince Xizor as your criminal GL. Dash already exists, bring in the other Shadows Character. Also, give me Talon Karrde as a light side scoundrel so I can the Wild Karrde as a capital ship for cargo ships / scoundrel ships.

WE NEED GEONOSIAN QUEEN FOR NEXT GL!!! It fits so much. We have 0 Separatist Gls. There is a lot of people she could require that are not yet reqs. She has the potential to have an ultimate like Leviathan's where she steals a character with brain worms. She has several characters that could be reqs for her that could be new Marquees. The Geonosians REALLY need a lift. She could be a 2nd large character. Do I need to give more reasons?
The next GL feels like it will be a Separatist as its one of the largest factions without a GL. So even though there might not be a character with a lot of growth or distinctly different from one we already have, they can still make it work (ie. QGJ). We also don't have a droid GL so I'm going to put my money on Grevious (caped). He checks all the boxes and is in the era they are currently focused on. I feel his counterpart will be Yoda with a new Jedi Council tag and either reworks or new versions of Kit Fisto & Eoth Koth as well as new characters like Yaddle & Sifo Dyas. After that, I think Thrawn/Ahsoka/Mando are likely IF the new Filoni movie is out by then and their story arcs have concluded. Otherwise, they will probably look at the Old Republic & Revan.
One curveball that I would love - a scoundrel GL that is actually Han AND Chewie. Don't know how that animation would work out but if they can animate Jabba, they can do a duo.
I feel like old master maul might be a bit too similar to “Maul” (minus the mando tag). If anything, I’d like to see a Crimson Dawn/Shadow Collective Maul instead as a legendary. Could be really good. And might give Qi’ra/Young Han a new team. Could have, Dryden Voss, Becket, Val as new characters. Even Kay Vess from the new Outlaws game I could see fitting into that team.
@@zombefyer2.047 don’t get me wrong, I’d still love Old Master Maul. Just given how recently we’ve gotten Maul, I’d say they might be more interested in making a Scoundrel based one instead. If we ever do get a GL Ahsoka actually, an old Master Maul could be a cool marquee or legendary requirement I’d like to see. That way he could be the UFU tank you want, without interfering with the Cal Cere team too much.

How we still leaving out droids? This game has two Moff Gideons and just one of the most iconic SW characters: R2D2. Droids will need a GL at some point and R2D2 has made an appearance in almost every Star Wars, he’s active in the actual wars, just give him a poncho and, boom, GL R2!

I would really like the idea of a neutral Sheev Palpatine/Chancellor Palpatine, that gives out like different bonuses whether his team is Republic or separatists and maybe even has two different Ultimates? The only real problem I see with this is that he, of course, already has a GL with SEE.

I’ve been a strong advocate for a chancellor palps for ages. I still think it would work. Different faction, different alignment, different appearance, and is arguably the most important version of Palpatine. It could give characters like Padmé and Mothma new homes, we could get Bail, blue-horned-senate-guy. Jar Jar could even slot into the team if you really wanted 😂
Luthen's kit feels like it could be a trial run for that kind of setup.

I think the most important characters to the canon Star Wars universe that we don’t have as GLs already are Ahsoka, Yoda, and R2/3po. I really have a hard time seeing r2/3po after leia last year was both a rebel GL, which is both of their most well known/associated faction, and the fact that they lifted the only r2 we have in game as one of the core 3 members of leia’s squad. Obviously not impossible (they had boussh with Jabba and then leia next year), but I think it doesn’t seem like where Star Wars is right now. I think Ahsoka is probably the most likely, I think she’s probably the most relevant character we don’t have right now. The only thing I see against her is that she’s the only GL we’d have that’s not from any of the 9 main movies, so she might be less iconic in that sense. They’re gonna have to start pulling GLs outside of the movies at some point though, and Ahsoka I think is the best place to start. If I put down money it’d be on her. Yoda also makes sense, definitely an iconic character and it is phantom menace year. I thought one of the biggest roadblocks was not having an iconic enough version, but I think master qui-gon showed they don’t mind adding in essentially the same character with a different name. I think the main thing that would make it weird right now is that they just released Queen amidala. I don’t mind repeating factions, and even though we already have a gr and Jedi gl, they’re wide enough we could make it work. The problem is I think she just kinda steals all the good leftover GR characters now, I don’t see her as a yoda lifter and it would be weird to put her team out of commission a few months after release
I'd like to see a GL General Solo with a General Calrissian, General Madine, Rebel Veteran Rex, and Nien Numb as the marquis characters. Minimum relic requirements could include Paploo, Young Han, Vandor Chewie, Stormtrooper, Probe Droid, etc.
I also like the idea of Crimson Dawn Maul. Qira could be a minimum relic requirement for that event. And as much people don't use the Solo characters, they're required for certain ROTE TB encounters. If you and your guild are playing the long game then that's a huge win.

Force Ghost Yoda would be awesome, and could be the excuse to make outdated GR jedi relevant. His ultimate could be summoning lightning and setting everything on fire. Snoke could be the counterpart, leading Knights of Ren/DS UFUs.
Chancellor Palpatine, despite having the GR tag, would be the suitable GL to lead Separatists.
Don’t get me wrong I love me some SWTOR content (just look at my pfp) but I doubt they will add much more, especially as far as GLs go. I have said in the past that Vitiate would be an amazing GL to add, but I don’t think Disney would get behind it. If any of you haven’t played SWTOR please check it out. Probably my favorite SW game of all time. Others being SWGOH and Republic Commando. SWTOR is free (unless you want the extended story, then you have to get at least a 1 month subscription. You get to keep playing the story even after the sub expires. You only need to get it once to unlock the story. But take all that with a grain of salt, I haven’t actually gotten around to subscribing for the story yet) and has many different character options (my favorite out of the ones I’ve played is by far Sith Inquisitor-> Sith Sorcerer) hours apom hours of fun. I believe there is a reason that CG never did the Jedi Exile. if you take note both Revan's kits. Revan is treated as a Gender neutral character because their gender is determined by the player. Revan is always referred to in game by name or with gender neutral pronouns. This is also why Revan always wears their mask (besides it being ICONIC to them.) but essentially you have a character whose face you never see and whose kit is neutral. the Jedi exile however doesn't ahve an iconic mask to cover their face as they too are a character of player choice. So unless they made them wear a hood that obsurred their face which like revan could have been whatever the player wanted them to be i dont imagine they will do it.
i actually really respect CG for actually honoring the fact that Revan and the Exile are player avatar characters defined by the players and have not tried to impose on that.

Edit: I only have a million power and I’ve gotten the hyperdrive bundle so the first things I went for were both Revans and now I’m on to Malak. If they make a Revan GL I am going to grind all day and possibly drop a ton of money to get him. That would be a dream come true.
I always humored the thought of Maz Kanata as the LS Scoundrel / Smuggler GL to contrast Jabba the Hutt's Cartel / BH synergy, but... Well, it's Maz. If she's ever added she would probably fill a role similar to Hoda. Still, it's a neat thought.
I really wish they’d go into the post-ROTJ era of the old EU/Legends. They already have Disney master Luke but imo they should do Legends Grandmaster Luke. They already have a member of Legends Luke’s New Jedi Order in Kyle Katarn. Add Jedi Leia, the Solo children (Jacen, Jaina, and Anakin, hell give Jacen a Darth Caedus character too), Ben Skywalker, and a Jedi master Mara Jade Skywalker. Hell they can even go to the Legacy period and add Darth Krayt or Cade Skywalker considering Darth Talon is already in game and she answers to Darth Krayt

Well vitiate seems to be the next one. So there’s relatively 2 main forms of vitiate, sith vitiate and valkorean. Vitiate though, we have relatively everything we need, we have revan, malak, malgus, leviathan, bastila and all those OR Jedi, we have sith assassin, sith trooper, all those, all we really need is scourge, meetra surik, hero of tython and maybe mandalore the ultimate, other than that there’s no one else vital to the story of vitiate. Now valkorean, we need arcann , the exile, senya, and outrider and a few other people. As of rn based on how they recently just gave a new capital ship for revan which included the introduction of malgus and his star fighter, I’d say vitiate is coming

regarding a GL Ahsoka, she would no doubt come a a jedi training Sabine and a hermit Ezra. she could be like a Leia where you just need those 2 and any 2 UFU characters to make a team. the big question then is would she will her team be only lightside or will it be for both light and dark? if it's only lightside we would need more characters so as not to break up any existing teams. but if she were to allow both than she could pick up og Kylo and stick rey. to form a full team. also a possiblity given that leia brough 4 new characters for her GL farm, they could just have you farm her entire with and add Baylan and Shin.
all that said, i do believe you are right that its probably too soon in their character arc for a GL. not likely until after the mando movie

I think Veteran Smuggler Lando is a great candidate for a Scoundrel LS GL. Lando is obviously one of the more recognizable characters (having been in 2 of 3 trilogies). The Veteran iteration may not be the most known one, but it does provide a new toon/skin. We gloss over the RoS for... obvious reasons.. but Lando was essential in that movie for the fate of the galaxy. He runs into the Maul issue that "no one is talking about Old Lando right now"

I think they'll do a Master Sol GL in a year or two who will serve as a High Republic lead.Having marquees,let's say Jecki Lon,Yord,Indara and Kelnacca,Vernestra Rwoh or Osha.Sol being a support,Jecki and Yord attackers,and Indara or any of the three being tanks.I am currently farming Light Side Revan in prep for the High republic jedi so I can form a team.
Looking at factions that need some bit of kick, you have Separatists, Old Republic, both light and dark side scoundrels. A GL that synergizes with clones could be really cool. We know that they like to lift factions with GLs, and as of late, it also seems to be tied to raids more often than not. But the ones that I would dump my growing crystal hoard for, would be either Revan Reborn or Emperor Vitiate.
So, I don't think Thrawn's story not being done is a deal-breaker, for the simple fact that Din Djarin and Ahsoka are also in the same boat, and I don't think CG will want to wait on all three of those characters, because things start to pile up. I think the Nightsister and Imperial Remnant freebies in June are pointing to *something* and I just can't see any other option at this point other than a Thrawn GL (or, I suppose, the Eye of Sion as a capital ship, though that has other issues) coming this Fall.

Rather late to the party, but an interesting GL idea is a Separatist Queen Karina the Great of Geonosis. Would imply a leftover Geonosian, but Seps are the last major faction without a GL.

As someone who loves the Seperatists and especially Dooku, I don't think he or Grevious really have enough "star power" to be a Galactic Legend. If it was up to me, I would say Chancellor Palpatine serving as a dual GL for maybe Clones and Seperatists. You could give him slightly differing buffs/moves depending on which faction you use him with (sort of like we're seeing now with Luthen's Curator/Axis buffs).
Maybe something like with a full team of Seperatists Palpatine has permanent stealth and all allies get a speed buff (Schemer buff) or if all allies are clones they get a buff to offense and Palpatine gets a big buff to defense (Inspired or Guarded buff).
I think the biggest issue with this is balancing it properly. You wouldn't want to take away units from other teams (Specifically Droids, Geos, and 501st) and you'd want to balance it in a way where each team option has a situation where its ideal. How do you do this? I genuinely have no clue if it's possible, I just think it's a cool idea. They would definitely need to release at least 2 new generic clone troopers and probably add in synergies with the specific units they want him to interact with (New Clones, Cody, and Sarge or Dooku, Wat, Trench, and Gunray) to encourage specific teams. As I said, it very likely might be too complicated, I just think it'd be so cool, and Supreme Chancellor Palpatine definitely deserves to be in the game
Yeah I can't really see Palp leading seps at all. Even if we got a senate version of him I think the best they could do synergy wise is "Sith" to let him work with Dooku or OG Maul

Id like JKR GL to bring in the remaining characters in kotor specifically malaks apprentice darth bandon , and calo nord (bh need new toys), and bring in the kotor 2 characters companions go-to (droids), hanharr (bh tank for 2nd bh team), atton rand scoundrel, bao-dur not sure what tag he go, handmaiden brianna unsure if her tag, mira bh attacker, disciple mical, mandalore (ds mandolorian), and villians like atris (dsufu), and have a journey character the exile meetra surik (lsufu) similar to JKL to lead into GL revan journey so we get all the kotor 2 characters in. Although i wonder if the kotor 2 companions have to function like kyle to where they ramp up to be jedi or force user like in the game.
I never realized how badly I wanted Calo nord until I read this. Kotor is far and away the best video game in the star wars universe. I feel like I only play swgoh to fill the kotor sized hole in my heart

Personally I think they should go with Yoda as a GL. Though I doubt he’d be the next one. Perhaps it’s because I’m rewatching The Clone Wars right now, I was thinking a Senator Palpatine might be an interesting GL. He could use both light side and dark side characters in his team like Jabba does. CG could create a couple of new characters but then also rework or give new life to some older characters people have, but aren’t using. He’d also be a good choice as I’m sure CG, will start think of Attack of the Clones content, though that would be next year for the 25th anniversary, I think.

I could understand all of these Ideas to the next Galactic Legend, but anything else but Revan Reborn would let me cry for month. With the Leviathan last year, i'm 100% shure we will get Revan Reborn, but at the end it was endor Leia... yeah -.- ... Not even here Iconic Look in white shes been 99% of the time in, weither in comics, films, tv shows or games.
But Revan Reborn in my opinion is not an Old Republic Character, instead he would be an neutral Unaligned Force User. Because, at this point, he isnt a Jedi anymore, he isnt a Sith anymore so UFU is fairley clear. And he isn't at the republic anymore, neither the sith empire. It would make no sense if he is for one of these two factions. As the Revan Reborn anything knows, hes weilding both of his lightsabers and fight against both factions.

She has the potential to have an ultimate like Leviathan's where she steals a character with brain worms. She has several characters that could be reqs for her that could be new Marquees. The Geonosians REALLY need a lift. She could be a 2nd large character. Do I need to give more reasons?

The next GL feels like it will be a Separatist as its one of the largest factions without a GL. So even though there might not be a character with a lot of growth or distinctly different from one we already have, they can still make it work (ie. QGJ). We also don't have a droid GL so I'm going to put my money on Grevious (caped). He checks all the boxes and is in the era they are currently focused on. I feel his counterpart will be Yoda with a new Jedi Council tag and either reworks or new versions of Kit Fisto & Eoth Koth as well as new characters like Yaddle & Sifo Dyas. After that, I think Thrawn/Ahsoka/Mando are likely IF the new Filoni movie is out by then and their story arcs have concluded. Otherwise, they will probably look at the Old Republic & Revan.
One curveball that I would love - a scoundrel GL that is actually Han AND Chewie. Don't know how that animation would work out but if they can animate Jabba, they can do a duo.

5. Darth Tyranus
6. ARC-17 "Alpha"

Rex is basically a copy of ARC-17 so it doesn't make sense for him to become a GL at all
I feel like old master maul might be a bit too similar to “Maul” (minus the mando tag). If anything, I’d like to see a Crimson Dawn/Shadow Collective Maul instead as a legendary. Could be really good. And might give Qi’ra/Young Han a new team. Could have, Dryden Voss, Becket, Val as new characters. Even Kay Vess from the new Outlaws game I could see fitting into that team.
@caleb_dume Old Master Maul would be a Tank-class character, and also have synergy with other Dark Side Unaligned Force Users (minus Inquisitors)
@@zombefyer2.047 don’t get me wrong, I’d still love Old Master Maul. Just given how recently we’ve gotten Maul, I’d say they might be more interested in making a Scoundrel based one instead.
If we ever do get a GL Ahsoka actually, an old Master Maul could be a cool marquee or legendary requirement I’d like to see. That way he could be the UFU tank you want, without interfering with the Cal Cere team too much.
