A big part of my childhood.

Thanks man! Harry Potter.. never could get into that franchise though know how popular it is, I dig the 1st 1 & the goblet of fire, the only 2 I like lol. Narnia had so much potential but fell off hard after the 1st to me haha
Hook is categorized under children's fantasy. Red Sonja has a great remaster on Blu-ray by Shout factory but I would seek out the popular fan edit called Conan and Red Sonja that fix many of the movie's issues. I grew up with the U.K theatrical cut of Legend (the U.K blu-ray is region free) and that is my go to version of the movie over both the American and director's cut especially with the happy ending and Jerry Goldsmith's beautiful score. Dark Crystal is visually stunning but the story is a little weak, it's a case of style of substance. Imprint's NeverEnding Story is way overpriced and shouldn't be limited especially knowing how popular the movie is. Blade Runner is film noir and sci-fi not fantasy. I would consider Star Wars and the Battlestar Galactica reboot (you will understand why it's part fantasy by the series finale) sci-fi fantasy. Two great overlooked fantasy actually belongs to Hallmark channel: 1998 Merlin starring Sam Neill, Isabella Rossellini, Rutger Hauer and Miranda Richardson; 1997 The Odyssey starring Armand Assante, Vanessa Williams and also Isabella Rossellini. I believe both shows can be found here on the platform but the each movie split into two parts unlike the DVD format where they're presented as single movies. Again, I'd think if that's fantasy, then Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves is equally fantasy. Notably missing are Neverending Story and Dark Crystal.
You got ripped off for that Legend DVD! I bought that Ultimate Edition 2002 set when it was new as well...I got it from Best Buy and I'm sure it was only about $20. I never upgraded from the studio blu to the Arrow blu, because as far as I know that Arrow scan is the same scan as the studio scan, and all that set adds is maybe some extras? Krull is great, I have that on blu and that can be gotten cheap. Warcraft actually came out in 2016, it was 1 of the earliest released 4ks in 4k's debut year. Oh and stuff like Beastmaster was rated PG cause it came out before 1984 and Gremlins. There was no PG-13 yet, films like Gremlins being PG around '84 is what helped bring about the PG-13 rating. It's the same reason stuff like Poltergeist is PG, you could get away with a lot before you got an R, pre-1984. I think temple of doom along with Gremlins, both in '84, caused the big uproar from parents and such, so they introed PG-13. A couple fantasy picks for you, you may not know, The Barbarians 1987 starring The Barbarian brothers is fun, Kino sells a cheap blu. Another one is Lucio Fulci's Conquest from 1983, it's super gory like his horror films and has the added unique novelty of laser blast type weaponry which you don't get in really any other fantasy movie. I snagged a cheap blu of it when Kino was selling it a few years ago, goes for a bit of $$$ now but just wanted to put it on your radar. You can actually watch it on Tubi.
