    Hi! Thanks for review. Do you recommend this tent in 2024? Maybe there is an interesting alternative now?

    • @AttwoollsCoUk

      In honesty, this tent is still one of the best in its category, as it’s got great features and an offers plenty of space for the pitch size.

    Wish they made this in polyester, for use at download festival, just be worried about mud staining the poly cotton material

    do you have a video for the canope extension?

    • @AttwoollsCoUk

      Unfortunately we don’t have a video on the canopy but if you look at the front of the Rarotonga it would be the same as that.

    Would love this in an Aussie model, that being different colour other than white on front living room as our birds down here would poop all over it just for a laugh. The guy ropes would be filthy after perhaps second trip for us Queenslanders as we do alot of beach and bush camping. Pity as I really like this model

      Watch this space 😗 there could be something new coming out which is designed for the Australian market but it might not be the colour you are after.

      @@AttwoollsCoUk Hi mate, yeah I believe it's already on Dometic Australia's website as I saw something about 48 hours ago. Things are starting to heat up down here as Oztent are also about to release an Air inflatable onto the market along with existing brands with made for Aussie conditions, that being Zempire and Darche's AT 4 & 6. So difficult in making a decision!

    Hi there, are there any powercable entry points ?

    • @AttwoollsCoUk
      @AttwoollsCoUk  Год назад +1

      There is a cable entry point by the bottom of the bedroom. Are you are looking at the tent in the right hand side.

    for hot summers in south of Europe this Dometic tc tent or the Zempire evo tm with roof cover ?

    • @AttwoollsCoUk
      @AttwoollsCoUk  2 месяца назад +1

      The TC tent would always be the better option as it will natural breath and you’ll feel the benefit when it’s hot or cold.

      Worried about the lack of side door. However being a TC tent, will the material help more in keeping us less hot than having a side door?

    At 33kg that’s a NO go for me, I rather get the Oz RV 5, quick and easy and no where near the weight. Yes the RV Oztent is big when packing down but it’s imo still a much better buy ( if you got a large Car)

      Hand you seen the new Dometic Santorini 4x8? That might be a better option of you are worried about weight.

    • @AussieAdventurer
      @AussieAdventurer Год назад +1

      @@AttwoollsCoUk I haven’t but it’s still 31kg according to the specs vs the RV 5 at 24kg.
      Setup time is another thing I don’t like with these Air Tents vs The OZ Tent.
      I do like the overall concept and there is definitely a market for them but it’s just not for me.
      Especially when I consider where I camp most of the time…the Goldfields of WA and the ground is rock hard and everything there is sharp..so one mistake and you have a leak that needs fixing…hence it will be great for some but as a serious outback tent, it’s a no go 🙅‍♂️
      Just my opinion of course 🤷‍♂️

    Why do they make inflatable tents that need poles? Totally defeats the purpose
