Hi, I'm Troy McClure, you may remember me from public information films like, how to put an audience to sleep or the unforgettable, amnesia for the masses.
Inaccuracy, mispronunciations, video clips of unrelated garbage, mismatched pictures and an all around uneventful, misinformed waste of time. Stopped the video after he pronounced Scion as Skyon... Stick with what you know buddy. Stay away from anything automotive especially. Far away.
Robert Lee, well done. You managed to say that so politely. The video is such an unadulterated load of jumbled mis-pronounced partially informed hooey spoken in one of the most annoying Ned Flanders voices. Good grief.
Thanks for pointing those out. How does this copy pass editing? Whoever wrote the script gets a 0 for effort - you are correct, speed is not acceleration. Also, the company website for the t rex says that max power of 160hp is reached at 7, 750 rpm not 5,000. "Fail" as they say on You Tube.
There's some cool stuff to see here, but you've got to deal with the fact that the writer hasn't the slightest bit of technical knowledge, and is unable to look things up on Google.
Almost none of the facts about Donald and CN7 are correct, at best facts that have just been dug up, thrown in in a historically inaccurate manner. Even the picture is wrong and is of Malcolm not Donald.
@@jamesjpak He's likely reading a script. Not just babbling off the top of his head. Blame who or what people wrote this pile of inaccuracies and failed grammatical patch work. Also when this was made accuracy was not involved in any part of it.
Whats with all the random video clips, when none of the clips of the actual vehicle match up with the audio. Also, why are you talking in that tone of voice about vehicles, stop with the outdated over played, countdown voice all that's not needed when you're talking about cars. tyvm
Why when talking about the Sir Vival (SP) did you put in a shot of the Pontiac Fiero's interior at 4:10? The Fiero didn't come out until the 80's and the subject car was designed in 1959 using a 1948 chassis.
That is EXACTLY what I thought! Definitely a Fiero dash. Although it does seem wider. Looks like a crash test model going by the yellow/black stickers.
You guys fugged up when comparing the grill to a hot rod by showing the wrong year of hot rod. There's no mistaking the obvious swept look of the 1934 ford.
4:53 nice video clip shout out, to what I consider one of the most hilarious comedies of my time, under the "Big W". In the movie, "It's A Mad, Mad, Mad World".
When you are talking about a particular car and showing filler video, you have no idea how irritating that is, is it just for comments to show video activity I assume?
Which is why it's illegal to operate on most of America's roads. Articulation is pretty popular on off-road tractors and heavy equipment, but it has no self-centering geometry, so it gets a little scary at speed.
With most of the decoration and attachments of the Thor 24 there for effect, I wonder what kind of mileage it get's. Both when and not towing a trailer.
Wouldn't it be easier to clear a mine field to simply place thirty foot extension arms and push an old car across the field, like a bulldozer armored and equiped with thirty foot extensions, when your car blows up, back up and grab a new one That be easier than a giant rig that can get hit
Really enjoyed your video content... when you guys actually get to the content. All the fillers and kinda but not really vehicles shown right before and after and in-between the actual vehicle you are describing is a bit confusing and totally not useful in describing said vehicle. We appreciate your efforts and commitment to the channel but I for one would really appreciate less filler and a better stay on task approach. Just my 2¢ Have a nice day guys and be safe out there.
This guys as knowledgeable about cars as I am about global geo political science economy lmfao he called the scion a skion he thinks the T-Rex is faster than today’s super cars he clearly knows shit about anything automotive
the truck at the end, how does the driver see the road ahead with all that stuff on top of the engine, I have seen similar things done to cars creating a blind spot straight ahead, doesn't make sense.
as soon as i hear that voice i know this video will be long narration with random "filler" pictures that have nothing to do with the subject matter... Could have been a very interesting 10 minute video of amazing vehicles but i cant sit through the pictures of anime bat-mobile
Hi, I'm Troy McClure, you may remember me from public information films like, how to put an audience to sleep or the unforgettable, amnesia for the masses.
Sky on
Campbell didn't die for the land speed record. He died chasing the water speed record in the jet powered Blue Bird hydroplane.
Yes, and the black and white picture shown briefly is actually of Sir Malcolm Campbell, Donald's father who also held world 🌎 speed records.
yes correct
in the video it says he died a year later. there's a movie about it starring tony hopkins

Lake Eyre. Pronounced like "air" not "ire".
I’ve never seen someone who knows so little about cars do so many videos about cars
Seriously who is this clown?
Right a 5000 RPM engine in the T-Rex
I almost gave up after his pronunciation of Scion.
460 miles per hour is NOT acceleration it's SPEED! Also, I have a drill that turns at 5000 RPMs, but it's still only a half horsepower!!!
Steve Ewing the T-Rex is also doing 0-60
At least 3.5 seconds not 4.5 this guys a dope he should stick to knitting shows

The last truck was the best. Thanks.
Poor accuracy on facts throughout with random clips that don't belong
"Sky-On"
Indeed, first and last time watching this dudes videos...
Honestly most of these vehicles were just stupid as hell
Typical...
beats catching covid19 i suppose

A self-driving car? Anyone remember those crashes of airliners caused by software failures? Would YOU waste your money on a self-driving vehicle?
if i was building a rocket car, cardboard and linoleum would be my first choice of construction materials too!
You really gotta work on that b-roll footage. Often it's totally unrelated.
that Hungerford Rocket car is the only vehicle ever to be registered as a rocket powered car for road use

Loved the Christine scene in there
Lake Eyre is pronounced , Lake Air here in Australia.

who the hell is SKY-ON!?!?! LMAO
That bothered me so much!

I had a truck that would do 136 with one 3406 cat with a 6x4 double over
Great channel 👍 very interesting and chill 😊✌️
Loving the Le Mans: Ford vs. Ferrari footage lol.
Another video with awful research. 1:38, Scion is pronounced like SIGH-on, NOT SKY-on. Dope.

Woooo,,a 5000 rpm engine,,,Thats ALIEN technology,,
Oh yeah.
My rx7 with 7500 limit would make his face melt.
My Dremel tool is laughing at this guy
Man!
That party car would have been awesome!
Never knew that the Star Wars landspeeder was real
11:45 thorium is already used as source of fuel in power plants? How I missed that?
Terrible video, I only watched it because of the bad comments and I can understand why. Also, I don't like the narrators voice.
Yeah, he either needs a better mic, or a voice changer. His voice is irritating.
too much fluff not enough accuracy
You guys fugged up when comparing the grill to a hot rod by showing the wrong year of hot rod. There's no mistaking the obvious swept look of the 1934 ford.
Great episode 😄
Not so much. Lots of mistakes and misleading footage.
No power station in the world uses Thorium as fuel. It is a possible power source that can do every thing but actually work.

That big rig is so crazy looking that truck companies may actually try and copy the design!

Not a problem. It can just tow a 6,000 gallon diesel fuel tank trailer.

Hot rods came about in the 1940s and '50s, with the Depression going on in the '30s, not too many were built.
