It's not emulated. So, it turns out, this was my fault - the gameplay capture isn't slow - but when I imported it into my video editing software, I accidentally changed the framerate - which is why it slows down a bit. Is it even possible to emulate the PS3 yet?
@@GaryRetroGamer yeah, at lot of PS3 games can be emulated, I'm not sure if the R&C games can be emulated via the PS3 emulator, but I was refering to the PS2 emulator, because the first R&C can be emulated in the PS2 emulator and look almost the same with the HD PS3 version.

I'm amazed that god of war ascension didnt make the cut
it wasn't as good as god of war 3 apparently. but i liked it
I have xbox 360 and my top games is : gta 5 , Naruto shippuden ultimate ninja storm revolution , dragon ball z xenoverse , hitman absolution , max payne 3 and Lego jurassic world
GARY! GENIUS IDEA,
TOP 100 SALES/COPIES SOLD.
I may have already started work on it...
Gary is one of the best gaming channels
That's an interesting list, very GameFAQs-esque.
Sorry but I believe that the MotorStorm ps3 trilogy( Monument Valley, Pacific Rift, and Apocalypse) should be in three top 100
I know these are top rated by everyone but I’m surprised we didn’t see stranglehold, any battlefields, no NBA2K13? No max pain? Mafia 2? And how does guitar hero not make the cut?
Battlefield 4 seemed boring to me tbh
I'm more surprised by the absence of Wipeout HD+Fury and by the fact that FF13 is higher than FF13-2.
@@deadopsgx8578 bf4 wasn’t even on ps3
@@SciFiCam it was
All of those are cool bro, but, have you people heard the soundtrack of Beyond: Two Souls?...Thats magic bruh (iknow its in the list)
This list is amazing. Now do the top 100 cRPG’s!
I like how remasters from ps2 are in top 100 of ps3 games haha
No doubt PS2 has some awesome games that people wanna play even on newer generations
That's because PS2 had so many great games. Have you seen how many remasters/remakes PS4 has as well? There's a lot.
I'll say thanks for putting Shadow OT Colossus at the bottom.
so many gems! thanks
you did a phenomenal job!
Great video, thanks Gary!
My favorite ps3 game of all time is for sure Donkey Kong and the lost banana land. What a joyfull game 😍
Wha? Is Donkey Kong on PS3? 🤔
@@miguelc2840 it is a exclusive game that nintendo only made 2 copys for ps3
@@zeszin What's the title? I tried looking it up on google, but I couldn't find it. 😬
What?!?!?
This is so helpful thank you gary
You are the best
You my friend deserve to be in heavens for your lovely nostalgic channel
What a games, what a generation. The best era was ps3, wii, x360, Ds, Psp and pc 2005-2013. Every console have a great games.
Bioshock Infinite ahead of Fallout New Vegas is wild.
my favorite The House of the Dead: Overkill - Extended Cut
Surprised persona 5 didn’t make the list
Just Cause 2 in the 90s is crazy.
Red dead redemption is The best game in 7th generation
No Gran Turismo? That would be my number 1 :( Great list though :)
:0 how isn’t bo2 here
it's on another list "Top 100 Call of Duty games"
@@V_For_Vigilante why did you play it
Just bought a ps3! Should be here next week :D excited to play a lot of these games , I missed out on ps3s exclusives since I played on 360 but at least now ill get to play them lol never too late
Hell yes man you're in for a treat!
@@Wolf-Squatch Yessir 🔥😎 I've passed Infamous 1 and 2, Resistance 1, now playing Resistance 2 and loving it so far. So many great exclusives on ps3 I'd definitely say better than 360 exclusives imo. Still have a lot of great games to play, I've also passed Batman Arkham Origins, even though not an exclusive i had never played it and it was cool to see the events that lead to Arkham Asylum
@@joeortiz5177 im playing the ratchet and clank HD collection right now and the sly Cooper collection has a spot close to my heart I grew up on those two platforming giants. The resistance games were so good and I loved infamous one and 2, festival of blood was awesome too!
@@Wolf-Squatch Nice man I need to pick up the sly cooper and ratchet and clank collection asap I've heard great things about those games! After I'm done with the resistance trilogy I'm gonna start the Killzone trilogy
@@joeortiz5177 Hell yes man. I hope you enjoy them!

It's crazy how GTA 5 is now 7 years old
10 now
11 now
How Gran Turismo isn’t on this list is beyond me.
MW2 was one of the best games with no doubt
The walking dead more than Beyond two souls and Heavy Rain? Ok big players.

@@beastgamer7727 I'm sure plenty do.... I, however, love it and MANY MANY MANY do 🙂
Thought Resistance 3 would make it to the list. Maybe not enough played it
I knew it!
Btw, you were emulating Ratchet And Clank HD? I don't remember it running so slow...
I don't think it was emulated, but I will ask the person who made the clip for me.
It's not emulated. So, it turns out, this was my fault - the gameplay capture isn't slow - but when I imported it into my video editing software, I accidentally changed the framerate - which is why it slows down a bit. Is it even possible to emulate the PS3 yet?
@@GaryRetroGamer Yes, there are videos about it on the tube
@@GaryRetroGamer yeah, at lot of PS3 games can be emulated, I'm not sure if the R&C games can be emulated via the PS3 emulator, but I was refering to the PS2 emulator, because the first R&C can be emulated in the PS2 emulator and look almost the same with the HD PS3 version.
Not played any of these with being retro only. newest console I own is ps2 but some of these games look awesome
No problem! Just bookmark this video and come back to it in 10 years when the PS3 is "proper" retro.
Ha ha will do bud👍
The ps3 is already retro dudes...
Damn fool stop living in the past and play these games
Same. I didn't likes when internet had to be used to update games and stuff. I just stick to my PS2 for now.
Demon's souls for my is the best exclusive ps3 game. And red dead redemption the best of all.
Heard that it has really bad frame rates
@@Apurbo_ not really
@@Apurbo_ It doesnt. Dark souls has a lot of performance issues.
You're the man Gary!
Can you make a ps3 hidden gems sooner or later?
I'd like to! It may be a few months - but keep watching this space!
I don’t see how Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen is much lower on this list compared to Dragons Dogma Vanilla
There’s no 68. Nice top, ps3 is marvelous... GG
Oh no! Okay, thank you for pointing this out.
I understand that ps4 has really awesome graphics and games but ps3 is king it has so many amazing games and the games look like what games should be i really love ps3 rather than ps4.
Beyond Two Souls in 89??!!! damn i hope the next 88 games are damn good
beyond two souls has a really weak story
you actually play all the games to record them? i love it
Damn... they really don’t make games like they use to
Great thanks for your list
Nice video bro
lbp shouldve been among the top 5
final 10, each title seems to be in the right place
Arkham city should have been replaced by arkham origins
Ive played 90 of these games and I gotta say prototype was more fun then half of them
Totally agree. Prototype (and it's sequel) deserve a lot more recognition than they get. When I make a "hidden gem/underrated" version of this video, Prototype is going on it for sure
@@GaryRetroGamer awesome man I will watch out for that list.
Have you ever played a game, and felt that it isn't popular, then found out that it actually has a large fanbase?
I felt it with Resistance,The Suffering and Max Payne
But Max Payne is popular
@@arghyajadav3825 he meant max payne 3
Remembering that my dad played rdr1 on ps3 in the 2010s but i played it in the 2020s
I think we all know the real winner 6:25
did you play all those games or did you use other people's gameplay?
Mass effect trilogy on 51 place? And mass effect 3 on 36?!?!..It should be on 1. Place!!!!
Top 100 most downloaded mobile games would be awesome..
