Go to Disk Manager -> Select disk (0 or 1 ) you want convert and select the partition eg. C -Drive
Right click --> Shrink the disk and put shrink value to 200MB ->OK
Go to CMD with admin mode run the below command
mbr2gpt /validate /disk:0 /allowFullOS -> Enter
Validation is success
Run below command to convert
mbr2gpt /convert /disk:0 /allowFullOS
Disk will be converted to GPT
Go to BIOS and change Legacy to UEFI mode and change boot sequence
Your system will boot with mfg logo

@@Deus_Ex_1 but in some forum people say shrink is not a good option... my disk:0 is divided into C,D,E and in my cmd prompt is saying "Disk layout validation failed for disk 0", and i don't wanna lose any of my files.. what should i do?

This is dangerous. Boot your win10 pc to windows PE using a usb THEN the info in the video will work. MS recommends doing it this way.
mbr2gpt /validate /disk:0 /allowFullOS
CONFIRM VALIDATION SUCCESS
If failed try shrinking main partition in disk manager by 300 MB to create unallocated disk space, then re-testing
mbr2gpt /convert /disk:0 /allowFullOS

I'm hoping this works so I don't have to clean install Windows again. I just put together a Ryzen 5600 / RX 6650xt build with an ASUS motherboard and already have plenty of games downloaded. I forgot about Resizeable Bar when installing Windows so now I need to convert somehow

for those who couldn't get it to work, You need one extra partition to be able to convert but since MBR only supports 4 partition at max, It shows that error, 3 is taken by windows already fyi, just delete the recovery one and do it

I had the same concern. So no data will be deleted, I tried it. If you are unsure, you can always back up your data first, then try it.
First of all it's always good practice to backup your important data. Although the procedure is reasonably safe if you don't have the means to backup your data then my advice is that it's not worth losing your important files over converting mbr to gpt.
But in case you are willing to take the risk
The procedure is reasonably safe as long as you follow these steps
1. run cmd as administrator,
2. make sure your bios supports UEFI
3. type in the exact commands as shown here (except for the disk number which of course must correspond to the disk number of your actual disk)
4. ensure validation step was successful
. In case validation fails chances are you have more than 3 current partitions. You need to reduce your current partitions to three first then try again. I

To those people worried that this is not safe. It is reasonably safe and you don't need to use a Windows PE. You can do this procedure on your actual OS as long strictly follow these steps.
1. run cmd as administrator,
2. make sure your bios supports UEFI
3. make sure that the disk you are trying to convert is not the one where you have the current OS you are running.
4. type in the exact commands as shown here except the disk #. It will depend on what disk you are trying to convert.
5. ensure validation step was successful
To those who only has one disk, you need to use a windows rescue disk instead and run the commands there.
. In case validation fails chances are you have more than 3 current partitions. You need to reduce your current partitions to three first then try again. It worked for me and I use what you can call a potato system.

@@uucycTV In that case, check the number of partition of your hard drive, If I remember it correctly 3 is the max partition that you can have in one hard drive, don't worry once you are successful in converting mbr to gpt you can add more partitions after. Create a usb bootable Windows rescue disk , boot on the rescue disk and use the cmd of it to execute the commands in the video

@@vladimirspark1094 Are you sure that you have 3 or less number of partitions? I also got that layout failed error when I had more than 3. If you want to make sure make it 2 at most number of partitions. Also make sure that the disk number that you are trying to convert is correct. If you have only one naturally that would be disk 0, if you have two disks one would be disk 0 and the other disk 1
will this break the OS if my bios is currently in legacy mode?
I know this is an old comment, and I haven't tried this myself yet, but if it does work, it should be fine and you'll just need to switch to UEFI in bios on next boot
@@jacobfausnight1180 Yep! I was able to convert the boot drive to GPT and on reboot I went into the bios and switched it to UEFI without any problems. I thought maybe in the process of conversion that it might break windows, but it didn't.
