We do not need Amnesty's endorsement on our judicial system. We hang only in rarest of rare cases (refer to Bachan Singh v. State of Punjab). And then, the statute under sections 121 and 121A IPC contains the sentence of death. And no doubt this falls in the rarest of the rare category. As far as release all if one is released is a faulty argument of yours. One shall get punished in for his act in accordance with law. Afzal's act was unpardonable, the trial was fair. Justice is done!

As far as the human rights orgs are concerned, who often play bandy with Amnesty, how many of these have ever talked of the human rights of those killed in terrorists acts? Afzal still got a fair trial; those killed did not even got a chance to know why did the bullet hit them dead. One Afzal attracts all human rights watchdog's attention, but those who were killed because of his dastardly plan are not talked about. Time to shut up for all those who think the execution was wrong.

is it a matter of release one and so the law is working, in return kill the other? All should be released if everybody is innocent. Do you know the Amnesty International has condemned India's action on this?? We should be ashamed and international observers are saying this about us. And besides what kind of civilised society are we when we discuss hanging someone in public..and also people express opinions on how a criminal should be tortured in TV camera?
Good on Arnab who well caught this Singhvi eating his own words. Arnab did well by reminding Singhvi his own quote !! This is a known fact that the immoral persons are very quick to eat their own words !! Shame on Singhvi. Singhvi should know that he is talking in front of Arnab and not some fool !! Singhvi has shown himself a big fool here. He is simply indulging into gimmicks. He thinks that he is still in front of the gullible public !! ha ha. Habitual cheater and what not ! shame on Singhvi.
oh cmoon..even you will say the same thing if police picks you up and says, we will harm your family and destroy your life if you don't say this. Do you know there is something called LAW. and in LAW these confessions do not make sense..it can be done by torture.Try to be a little mature.
Problems with the lower strata are pan India. But that alone cannot make us condemn our nation on a portal, where execution of a terrorist like Afzal Guru is being discussed, coz u see, its very easy to read such statements in the light of the execution which sounds as if it was wrong on account of a faulty system. Execution and problems faced by the lower strata are to be kept in water tight compartments, as of now.

This Singhvi is a shame on our society. Please boycott this man. This is a country where a person does anything and everything and yet the public forgets after a while !! It was already known to the people of this country that this man would pop-out again after reclining in a long absence in the hope that the people would forget and then ''I'' can jump out again !! Shame shame shame. When will we work towards cleaning our society ? Shame on all who have let this man participate here !Shame again
Proably you need to be more informed. The problem is our middle class is so selfish and disconnected, and the class divide is so strong that you don't feel anything. You just have to live outside India for sometime. Our daily lives, our culture everything is without those people who lives in lower classs. or who are oppressed. No wonder Bollywood is so famous here.

How could a person of such an esteem as Arnab allow this SINGHVI to come on his show ? Singhvi has been involved in a sex-scandal exposed on youtube and I think, camera doesn't lie. Does it ? Don't tell me the same old-story that it was a political-conspiracy to mailgn the image of this man-Singhvi !! There has to be a social boycott of such persons atleast on the public-forums !! Law has not punished him but at least there is a right with the society to punish such persons in its own way !Shame
