It may very well add a second or 2 or tenths, thats fine. Its a difinitive scoring loop to start and stop from. You could also say, the moment the pit crew is allowed to jump over the wall, to the time the car is dropped off the jack, but allows room for error of pit crew jumping over too early, or peaving an issue with a wheel not being tight and driver needing to back up and/or jack the car up again

Maybe make the fuel take 25 seconds to fill, the loose lugs would definitely decrease
Yeah, never heard of SFI certification. I'd want my crew and driver in FIA certified gear. Romain Grosjean still alive, because of the gear.
SFI was an offshoot of SEMA, it was set up by drag racers in the '60s because getting burned alive in invisible flames wasn't any more fun for them that it was for F1 drivers.
Eric. I often wonder about what type/configuration NASCAR engines are. Obviously they are all V-8. But are they all still pushrod V-8s. Toyota would have had to develope their own pushrod motors I believe. Please tell me American manufacturers are still running traditional pushrod V8s! Thanks in advance, Randy
Matt Kenneth’s pit crew from back in the #17 Dewalt days was the best pit crew of all time … in my opinion of course.
Love your show. The most equality is who can cheat the most and get away with it. Along with that, who NASCAR favors. $$$$
As far as "records" go, HMS has the best cheat record, starting with Jeff Gordon.
Longest pit stop is also an interesting one. Monaco f1 Mercedes is very interesting
Why was there an interview with Rosie O'Donnell halfway through?
Now that's a Mullet 😊😊😊😊😊
Bubba for the win, or another Top 5!
The millisecond the car stops, starts the clock and the millisecond the car accelerates the clock stops
Who’s happy Chase Won!
👇
Finally. How long in a top ride does it take
Surprised - yes.
Happy - no.
Being told Chase is THE most popular driver in the sport - sick and tired.
I am not sure I really agree with suspension after a wheel comes off. There’s been more wheels coming off during the Next Gen era than the last fifty years or more (according to one post on X). That says to me there’s an engineering design flaw more than a flaw with the tire changers.
Really merrily insted of merly oversights
Kind of annoying how most of the actual video, Is a clip of a video you posted a few hours before this one…what’s the point???
😂😂😂 I was like Da-Ja-Voo or did I click the same video
Are we gonna bring back the pit crew challenge?
I understand why NASCAR cracked down when they had 5 lug nuts but now there is no advantage because if they leave it loose it falls off. Dumb ass rule. Needs to be change
It’s a shame the number 2 needs a new driver and the 21
F1 has the record of them all. 1.8!
Well at least we now know why RCR pitstop are garbage... their crew members are servicing the vehicles while high 😆
EDIT: That 3chi sponsorship is getting a lot of good use too
that’s Kyle’s crew that was ass maybe they should’ve been on that 3chi like the 3 team
I’d bet on some pit crew props 😅
Glad the lost wheel penalty is not aimed at the crew chief for a month! Terrible penalty.
I still think that some of those lug nuts are faulty.
OK then I did not realize I thought I knew Kyle Bush or Kyle Larson Kyle Larson in the five car Eric motorsport number five race car at Texas. When the tire fell off or came off the car, I thought a pic remember would be spending including the crew, chief would be suspended, but, OK then I did not realize because I knew there was live action going around Pitt Road at Texas
My only issue is that Joey Logano got a fine for intentionally modifying his safety equipment for an advantage. These crew guys get a suspension for something unintentional with a glove or a chinstrap.
Isn't anyone going to talk about the 54 team having part of the lugnut gun go around the track. Isn't that taking equiptment out of the pit?!
Just one of many reasons i dont watch nascar anymore. What a joke
Why wasn’t Bell penalized for losing a wheel at Martinsville?
Because it didn’t come off the car , that’s why .
I'll Throw Erik Jones in it. He is a great drafters. Almost won there a few time. And he needs a win bad!!!!!!
The unsafe single lug wheel needs to go...but it woi
@@johnhaas2523 on a five-lug wheel few lugs on a tire can be loose or missing and the tire wobbles and they come to pit road. A single lug gets loose and the entire wheel leaves the car.
@@MonteD1Now go check out how much the rest of the motorsports world uses a single lug and don’t have this issue.
Why the hell did the jack man get suspended?
The single lug is NOT why pitstops are more important than ever, pitstops are more important than ever because track position matters more than ever. NASCAR has decided to try and make the series a spec series… I certainly don’t like the single lug because I’m a traditionalist curmudgeon. But the single lug has nothing to do with pit stops being less or more important… NASCAR creating a spec car that creates a bunch of dirty air with no tire fall off is.
This is the last year for NASCAR
The single log nut is a complete failure..
Just a comment on the Joey Logano violation. Dear Joey. If you're gonna cheat, INSIDE THE CAR, don't do it when the camera is on!!!
I say whoever wins the pit crew competition at the allstar race gets to hold the honor of fastest crew that year. Problem solved.
Thought the crew chief was supposed to be suspended
@@johnhaas2523Several? That was a change this year.
