MW2019 Spec Ops to me, will forever be the buggiest game mode ever existed in Cod. I’ve never played something that forces you to shoot, take damage to the point of being downed or dead, get to cover, heal up, and repeat. The bots must’ve been on steroids or something because whenever I’m in the open or something, they would immediately start firing at me. Armour boxes and stims were absolutely god sent to me. Because I would take so much damage trying to do an objective.

I mean the mode wasn't that hard, this coming from someone who beat the OG missions on the first difficulty, The key was just to keep moving, if you didn't you got swarmed
I semi enjoyed very few parts of some missions, but that damn fucking Superstore mission. Fuck that seven ways from Sunday. That beginning part with the tank was hard enough if you didn’t have a high damage large mage size weapon but then that indoors part with the suicide bombers that you literally can’t see because of smoke, the multiple Juggernauts and the fact that EVERY SOLDIER THERE IS ARMORED makes it so stupidly hard if you don’t have a Juggernaut yourself.
Hey Jev, I completed all the special operations and got three stars maxed for every single special operations map and at the end of getting three stars for every single special operations mission that I literally had to sit about an hour or longer waiting in the pregame lobby to find other players to play with I felt as accomplished when you got Damascus camo unlocked in modern warfare 2019 MP. Jev when you hear the reasoning why I went through all that suffering playing through literally the worst third mode ever added to a cod in cod history it’s because at some point in time when modern warfare was still playable I was trying to get all the trophies on PlayStation for the game…. it wasn’t because I wanted a calling card or a blue print or to unlock operators, it literally was because I was trying to get all the trophies….. For once, I can say I did something Jev didn’t lol 😂 Love your vid’s man! Thank you for all your content as well as pain and suffering! You are a true committed cod fan lol!
I came up with a pretty good tactic to make the mode easier and more fun. By having one guy with a shield and high mobility Uzi to distract enemies and defend teamates. One with a sniper for, well, sniping. One with an Lmg to do the spray and pray, and deal with the Jugg while the shield guy tries his best to block the Jugg's fire. Having suppressors on all the guns is a plus, as attempting stealth in the early sections can be fun and also helpful. Problem is, I AINT GOT FRIENDS. So I'm stuck with dumb randoms lmao.
Survival was a great mode. Idk why they allowed Sony to lock it behind a PS4 exclusive mode for a year. That would have been the best third mode for MW 2019. But we got stuck with the lame Spec Ops missions until Cold War dropped and it was finally unlocked. And that point I didn't wanna play it.
I remember it was impossible to finish the first mission since you could not get to the end lol and then The enemies kept spawning and everyone thought it was supposed to be a slaughterhouse until at some point it ends.
I believe the reason he was trying to stop you is because in that mission specifically, if you don't open the vault, you get waves of infinitly spawning enemies that you can farm for XP fairly consistently.
I haven’t played cod, not even warzone, in almost a year, but I still watch Jev every day simply because I love this man and his forever rambling. He will never get boring to me

The reason why the guy tried to stop you from sawing the door was because that’s the spec ops mission you do to grind your guns, specially that part where enemies just endlessly funnel to you

I literally think spec ops was being built and they had this open world idea and grand project with the verdansk map and then literally just dropped it halfway through to crest warzone instead Lmao
@@youngwashrag don’t think it was bro, spec ops was said to have been in development for a while and the concept was an open world raid type design, it was only later that they decided to start heading towards a BR, and a lot of the staff and resources were taken to work on warzone which is why spec ops was so broken and looked unfinished
@@youngwashrag it's more likely the map was originally made for ground war, but only the POIs, everything else was probably just filling in gaps which was why there was so many through the map glitches, cause they weren't intended to be seen

One’s functional and is generally marred by no round-based maps and ability to pause without being kicked for inactivity, the other is broken and unplayable because the AI are busted as hell.
I remember when it was first released and the enemies had what felt like aim bot and if u didn't have a riot shield it wasn't even possible to complete at that one point lol

Jev Operation Strongbox is one of the only populated XP farming mode in spec-ops, that's why they weren't cutting the vault door as the enemies would just spawn over and over again hence, more xp grind. Also, the truck at 8:54 yeah everyone does that so that the enemies can't flank you

I loved spec ops, I remember being able to beat that bank map jevs on in like 15 mins, key points like land, destroy tank, destroy sentry at back door kill initial enemies and break into the safe room, have another guy in my team do the c4 cinematic on 2nd floor once I kill the little rover machine gun things with three RPG shots per kill, run up to roof to catch the guy and the juggernaut, at the elevator kill a few artillery guys placed around the buildings near the roof, kill a helicopter and any new juggernauts and then that's it I think? (Yeah I have this for every map I loved it 😅)
MW 2019 from a gameplay perspective was fucking phenomenal the only thing I can say that was a negative was I couldn’t change my fov. Now from a player base perspective it was one of the worst cods. The design choices of some of the items and the map never made any sense and promoted the worst cod players to exist to date that still ruin the fucking games
They are slacking hard! The Season One mastery camo on Vanguard multiplayer is bugged and the Santa bundle with Lucas operator you cant even equip him…Absolutely Ridiculous!

I thought it was ok at launch but i played about a year ago and its unplayable solo, the enemies just agro you so hard you dont have time to reload. I used that mode to level shotguns and snipers
One of my favorites game modes. People use the "Strongbox" to level up their weapons, thats why they did not want to open the fault. Cant remember everything, but you need to use the perk which gives you ammo/nades/armor boxes when you kill bots. To get both achievements from the stongbox you need to intercept the banker, (move to the roof when your mates open the room he hides in) he drops a tiny small usb stick, which you have to pick up. and vanguard zombies is levels below spec-ops.
I did like the game. I’ve played every cod since cod4 and played them all a shit ton. Stop pushing your opinion on everyone else. We are allowed to like the game without making us feel like shit for it. You do not have to like it. Let us enjoy the games we enjoy.

Nothing to do with the pandemic. The game was just smoother and the gunplay was better. And everything wasn’t broken and glitchy. Just objectively better. Definitely had so bad things about it but it wasn’t nearly as bad as CW and VG
Modern Warfare is one of the best cods in the franchise. It brought back so many people. Say what you want about the playstyle but it had great maps for search, great gunplay and good killstreaks
There is one fun mission to run on spec ops, harbringer i believe... great for leveling up weapons. Also when they had mw challenges for guns blueprints they had modified versions once a week with legendary blueprints that u got for completing a harder version of a mission

i remember playing these right after launch and getting into a mission outside of the stadium surrounded by multiple juggernauts that took 3-4 rockets EACH to kill while tanks were shooting at you from the distance and while you are taking cover from those, russian soldiers were swarming from one side while al-qatala suicide bombers were running at you from the other side and the only thing you could do to survive was to spam healing, revives and armor boxes. it was a great time.
On Operations Headhunter, i would just snipe on top of the tower you spawn in and use killstreaks throughout the level, watching my teammates struggling to do the first challenge, die, than spawn over and over lol
I love spec ops for some odd reason, the quite surprising part is that since people don't play it often they don't know how good XP grinding is on the map strongbox if you set it up right. (Clear the suicide bombers and the sentry gun in the room then put the truck in the back door of the bank that has a hall connected to the vault room. Make sure it's placed good enough to block them from coming behind you so you have half of that room as a fallback room. Then saw one side of the door ONLY HALFWAY. Then just start blasting away at the NPCs.) It's quite effective when free double XP and weapon XP comes around if you are farming prestiges or unlocking vanguard guns for warzone. Also good for leveling mw guns easily if you haven't somehow maxed all guns. The gun grinding is good to get the guns maxed if you are still going for Damascus like some people I know. Feels bad for the people he joined in strongbox cause he messed up their XP grinding session, if you needed an example of some of the XP grinding steps such as the truck: Place it how they placed it. And how much to saw: Look at how much it was cut at the time.
As someone who has done the mission in the thumb nail I know that there will be nothing but pain giving I have have too suffered it without watching the video

For those of you who don't know, operation strongbox is propably the most efficient way to get battlepass levels (or at least it was when I still played the game). Basically you get to the bank and you set up defence in that small corridor next to the vault. If you do it correctly enemies won't spawn behind you, instead they will all spawn in front of you and run straight into your fire, that allows you to chain kills and get insane XP bonuses. The enemies spawn infinitely (so long as the vault stays closed) which means you get get several BP levels from 1 game. That's also propably the only reason jev managed to find a lobby for this op Edit: Just got to the part with the truck, it's set up that way because it blocks the enemy from attacking you from behind.
I hate that I have nothing else to do in my life and am now camo grinding just to be somewhat entertained. Camo grinding is something I never thought I’d be doing
I just remember playing this mode at launch with some friends just to get the operators unlocked and some cool skins. It does give a different vibe to the game but I’ve never played it since

I played Modern Warfare for over a year and this video was literally my first experience with the Spec Ops mode.

With a full team of friends this mode can be enjoyable and a great way to level up guns. Alone in a public match is just a nightmare
I played co op yesterday and honestly find it better than zombies in vanguard. Just my opinion though
At least Spec Ops had more options.

I thought it was ok at launch but i played about a year ago and its unplayable solo, the enemies just agro you so hard you dont have time to reload.

One of my favorites game modes. People use the "Strongbox" to level up their weapons, thats why they did not want to open the fault. Cant remember everything, but you need to use the perk which gives you ammo/nades/armor boxes when you kill bots. To get both achievements from the stongbox you need to intercept the banker, (move to the roof when your mates open the room he hides in) he drops a tiny small usb stick, which you have to pick up. and vanguard zombies is levels below spec-ops.

I did like the game. I’ve played every cod since cod4 and played them all a shit ton. Stop pushing your opinion on everyone else. We are allowed to like the game without making us feel like shit for it. You do not have to like it. Let us enjoy the games we enjoy.

But every one of those had people who liked it. How did Mw2019 ruin the series? Check the sales. If anything vanguard ruined it because it had 40% less sales than expected. I don’t even dislike it.

Nothing to do with the pandemic. The game was just smoother and the gunplay was better. And everything wasn’t broken and glitchy. Just objectively better. Definitely had so bad things about it but it wasn’t nearly as bad as CW and VG

the strongbox mission is used for farming weapon xp, that´s why he tried stopping you from opening the vault door. you basically ruined their run
Modern Warfare is one of the best cods in the franchise. It brought back so many people. Say what you want about the playstyle but it had great maps for search, great gunplay and good killstreaks

There is one fun mission to run on spec ops, harbringer i believe... great for leveling up weapons. Also when they had mw challenges for guns blueprints they had modified versions once a week with legendary blueprints that u got for completing a harder version of a mission

Mw3 spec ops was literally so fun to play. Playing survival on mw3 with friends or family, was such a great way to pass time

i remember playing these right after launch and getting into a mission outside of the stadium surrounded by multiple juggernauts that took 3-4 rockets EACH to kill while tanks were shooting at you from the distance and while you are taking cover from those, russian soldiers were swarming from one side while al-qatala suicide bombers were running at you from the other side and the only thing you could do to survive was to spam healing, revives and armor boxes. it was a great time.

On Operations Headhunter, i would just snipe on top of the tower you spawn in and use killstreaks throughout the level, watching my teammates struggling to do the first challenge, die, than spawn over and over lol

I love spec ops for some odd reason, the quite surprising part is that since people don't play it often they don't know how good XP grinding is on the map strongbox if you set it up right. (Clear the suicide bombers and the sentry gun in the room then put the truck in the back door of the bank that has a hall connected to the vault room. Make sure it's placed good enough to block them from coming behind you so you have half of that room as a fallback room. Then saw one side of the door ONLY HALFWAY. Then just start blasting away at the NPCs.) It's quite effective when free double XP and weapon XP comes around if you are farming prestiges or unlocking vanguard guns for warzone. Also good for leveling mw guns easily if you haven't somehow maxed all guns. The gun grinding is good to get the guns maxed if you are still going for Damascus like some people I know. Feels bad for the people he joined in strongbox cause he messed up their XP grinding session, if you needed an example of some of the XP grinding steps such as the truck: Place it how they placed it. And how much to saw: Look at how much it was cut at the time.

For those of you who don't know, operation strongbox is propably the most efficient way to get battlepass levels (or at least it was when I still played the game). Basically you get to the bank and you set up defence in that small corridor next to the vault. If you do it correctly enemies won't spawn behind you, instead they will all spawn in front of you and run straight into your fire, that allows you to chain kills and get insane XP bonuses. The enemies spawn infinitely (so long as the vault stays closed) which means you get get several BP levels from 1 game. That's also propably the only reason jev managed to find a lobby for this op
Edit: Just got to the part with the truck, it's set up that way because it blocks the enemy from attacking you from behind.
