Thanks for this video. I have always theorized that 3mix had a special relationship between the three, just like the J-Line. I never knew the reason behind the name for them, I assumed it was a mix of the two oldest with the leader since they act more of the mother figures within the group when the members need either support or advice. Also, it was informative to discover how the three became so close. I was only able to watch the first two episodes of 16, so a lot of what happened is unknown to me. Maybe, it's only me, but I, as a new once, could automatically tell after knowing who is who and their personalities the 3Mix and the J-Line had their own special bond within the already tightly knitted group, but I honestly don't see the same type of special bond with the maknae line. I know the members are all close and love each other, but I honestly don't see that type of bond within that sub-unit. I can see that Sana and Momo greatly favor Dahyun. Nayeon has practically adopted Tyuzu, and Mina and Chaeyoung have their own special relationship ( I'm not speaking of their ship either ). I noticed that Tyuzu, despite being known as the savage maknae, seems to be much softer towards the maknaes including Mina, but I just don't see the maknae line actually have that certain aura of natural relationship that is evident from all the ones I have mentioned. Anyway, thanks for this, it helped me understand the girls even more. I'm going to check to see if you happened to make videos on the J-Line and the maknae line on their relationships.
I love their friendship, it shows that they have known each other for many years, they love each other, they take care of each other and they protect each other.

It's so annoying that Korean beauty standards (and really beauty standards in most places) equate being skinny with being healthy. Like the idea that Jihyo was "dancing slower" because she was gaining weight. Fat people can be strong and flexible and dance well too! Also Jihyo wasn't even that fat. Everyone acts like gaining 10 pounds is the same as being 400 pounds with heart problems or something. It's okay to be fat, and it's okay to be chubby. Jihyo was still a pretty teenager no matter how much she weighed, and was always talented too.
