Our journey from Delhi to Manali began with a sense of anticipation. We set off, traversing the familiar route through Panipat and Karnal, the rhythmic hum of the highway a constant companion. As we entered Punjab, the skies darkened, and the pitter-patter of raindrops began to intensify. The initial light drizzle soon transformed into a heavy downpour, obscuring the road ahead.
Given the deteriorating weather conditions, we decided to alter our route and head towards Baddi. This detour, while unexpected, added a unique twist to our journey. The scenic route through Baddi, though less traveled, offered a glimpse into the serene countryside. The lush green landscapes and the tranquil atmosphere provided a much-needed respite from the earlier chaos.
As the rain subsided, we continued our journey towards Manali, the majestic Himalayas looming ever closer. The changing landscapes, from the plains of Punjab to the mountainous terrain of Himachal Pradesh, were a constant source of wonder. The journey, though disrupted by the unexpected rain, turned out to be a memorable experience, filled with unexpected twists and turns.
