The secret Ash tray is there because if someone try to smoke in the airplane....the crew can throw it there...they can't throw it in the trash bin because there are already lots of paper in there so to avoid burning of papers ...the ash tray is used....!!

2:40 it's there for a safety purpose , that by any chance a passenger is smoking in the lavatory and he/she dumps it into the dustbin or the
toilet it may cause fire , so that's why there is an ash try in there

Ash tray is available because, in case if anyone accidentally try to smoke he/she should stop it immediately by using it. And also he/she should face the legal consequences with it.

They put ashtrays in lavatories because if someone does break the rules and smokes it is to prevent them from throwing it in the normal garbage and start a fire the fire can be caused by contact between the fire and the tissues don’t worry I’m not a cabin crew 😂I’m in class 8 my aim in life is to become a cabin crew like you 🙂

2:45 in case passenger has carried cigarettes ( it's impossible but still if he or she is carrying through shoes block ) then to discard it in that ashtray because every where in the cabin smoke detector are there specially in lavatory there is automatic smoke detector .if in case it got detect the smoke then it will be big issue hence it is there in lavatory .... again don't carry cigarettes or e cigarettes...and if u r carrying don't throw any where it will catch fire...you might not got detect by smoke detector but u will surely got caught by CC.

Ashtray is for those who don't know that smoking is not allowed in lavatory as well ,if they smoked by mistake so they have to put their cigarette in ashtray...

So why do aircraft still have ashtrays? The answer is because people will and do still ignore the rules. And so, just in case passengers are absent-minded and place an aircraft's safety in danger by smoking in the lavatories, it remains a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirement to have an ashtray. 🙈🙈🙈 Google said 🤪💁🏻♂️
