- The moment I first picked up the controls to this game, I KNEW I’d be making a fan song for it. Stray immediately touched my heart and became an instant all-time favorite. If you haven’t given this incredible indie game a try, I can’t recommend it enough. Thank you to everyone involved in its creation, I hope they enjoy this fan work purely inspired by love! Stray is a game that got me so emotionally invested in an adorable looking digital cat, and has gotten me to tear up, and even cry on stream more than once. This song made me feel those heart tugging emotions again. I haven't finished the game yet, but this song has made me want to get back into it. Thank you for this song.

I had the chorus lyrics and melody first, then I build the chords, the melody on top of those, then write the lyrics and finish the instrumental!

I had a dream the other morning about a song for Laughing Jack's dead carnival (for my Wattpad story) and remembered the melody for a couple hours. It was like a waltz in minor tone with a vocal introduction and some sound effect accents. But I didnt record it and now forgot what it sounded like. I need to hum into the phone or something next time. For some reason I cant compose when Im awake.

It’s a wonderful game with a beautiful story, and without spoilers, no cats die. (You as the player can, but it’s like with any other game where you fall over and get a “try again” screen. So no worries about that!)
