Deedee Gee Wow I bet that one like on your comment came from you... Your profile pic is a grown woman so for you ( amusing and adult) to make fun of a little kid is a very good show of character.
I absolutely think the silk pillowcases are great for hair and skin. I love mine! U can buy them at Bed, Bath and Beyond. They aren't pure silk, of course, but I think they work great (that's where I got one of mine). I did spend $ on a "real" one previously but got sick one night and ruined it and they are not easy to clean, so now I stick with the cheap ones. You and Olivia both need one!
Can I just say I really appreciate these vlogs. I'm so tired of all the negative stuff and I've been having such a hard time mentally the past couple of weeks. Your vlogs and sweet family are such a sweet escape sometimes. Thank you for sharing with us.
I love all of the renovations you guys have done over the years. It is so neat to see. I really love the carpet in the kids bedrooms- pretty color and the texture looks beautiful!
I started watching you all from the beginning when Boston was just a little guy and because of that he has my heart!! Seeing him describe the snowman was just to die for!
We usually take down our decorations right before or right after New Year's. We didn't have any decorations this year because we went on a 9 day trip to Michigan for a wedding (I have a video about it on my channel) and then went to my grandparents for Christmas.
A silk pillowcase will be nice for keeping Olivia's hair smooth but it'll still tangle. A satin bonnet will work WONDERS! It'll stay on like the shower cap does, and I find that hair scarves tend to fall off of my head at night.
Love how you make the kids help you clean up & teach them to take care of their things. Aww the bear & necklace on Olivia's bed 😍 so cute The dollhouse is so sweet. Maybe you can get Olivia a pretty pink silk pillowcase for her hair.
I love your channel Bonnie! You're a very inspirational woman. You have a great, loving and caring family. I'm 12 years old and my mum is one of your biggest fans. Her names iveta and it would mean so much to her. Have a wonderful day and all the best wishes for 2017 -Jana 💓
we used to do a night braid when we had really long hair. we also take down the tree after the 1st of January although we suffered a loss of my ex-mother in law due to cancer,(my children's grandmother on their fathers side) early in December, so we didn't decorate until late so it might stay up for a little longer, because she Loved Christmas trees and decorations. I met her when I was 19 and married her son. That was 32 years ago and I loved her even after her son left. God Bless and a late Merry Christmas and Happy New year. love from Jeannie and kidlettes, from California
Brown hair is beautiful Olivia 😀 We take our Christmas tree down on Jan. 16. It is a tradtition we started 20 years ago. Our youngest daughter asked if we could keep the tree up until her birthday. Her birthday is Jan. 15. This year she turns 25. Have a Happy New Year! Jill
Bonnie I love your family. You guys always are staying positive. Boston you are hilarious. Cody you are so sweet. Olivia you are so creative. I hope you had a merry Christmas. God bless your family.
we took ours down 2d or 3d January, when I was very wee, we didn't get tree till the 20th, maybe the 19th at night, as that's my birthday. I don't do anything now. just for me, not interested. I also used to have hair long like Olivia's, and same problem, so I braided the mess nightly. kept it tidy. now, at 61, its super spiky short. straight as a board, and spiky, when I do something with it, or its dirty.
Bonnie, I just want too tell you thaaat I think you and you're family are just amazing & real, and that's why I enjoy watching your vlogs everyday!!! My mother wanted me too tell you that you are an inspirration to many woman and young girls out there that watch your videos!!! Also, I have twin nieces that are 9 and they look forward to watching Olivia in your vlogs. They always tell people that they are your #1 fans from New Jersey!!! ♡♡We all love you♡♡ -Kelly (me) -Sue (my mom) -Alana & Marissa (nieces) & the rest of our fam lol p.s. I hope to be half the woman and mother that you are one day xoxo
I love that you teach the kids to take care of their things. My mom had very few toys as a child, but she had her Barbie (one of the first ones they ever made) and she took such good care of it I was allowed to play with it as a child and my daughter played with it as well. My mom made us take care of our toys and I made my daughter take care of her toys and now we have 3 generations of toys. We parted with many through the years, but the Barbies and Fisher Price sets are still in almost perfect condition.
Bonnie I give you props... you somehow manage to take care of 4 kids first thing in the morning and upload a vlog at 7 in the morning or earlier . I don't know how you do it Bonnie. I love you!
I have a silk pillow case and not sure if it actually does anything yet but I do know that it feels AMAZING, so comfy to sleep with. I found a nice one on amazon for less than $10!
Silly question - what do you use to clean your lovely table? We recently purchased a gorgeous table and I'm known for ruining things as I clean. Thanks for being....YOU!!!! ❤️ your family!!!!
My granddaughter has wore a little silk one for the last 11 years of her life. it does protect her hair to a degree, and you can get them at any beauty supply house, maybe even Walmart or target I don't know
You can buy silk caps that look just like the shower cap, but are softer and not so sweaty. My African American daughter uses them to protect her hair at night. She also sleeps on a silk pillow case. Both really help! I think she got her silk cap at Sally's.
oh boy The House That Had Enough brings me right back to when I was a child, loved that book!! I've never come across another person who knows the book!
Definitely get a silk pillow case! I have crazy curly hair, not only do I no longer wake up with knots I don't have any frizz as well! And it helps lock in moister as to where a cotton one sucks it all up.
I love that you just showed your house can be a mess too! I always feel like your house is so spotless with your 4 kids and mine is such a disaster with only 2 in it! How often do you go through toys and things? Any tips for what to keep or how to handle the amount of toys that come in with your 4 kids?
As a kid we used to wait until New Years to take down our Christmas decorations but as an adult I usually take it down by New Year's Day or on Jan 1st. This year it came down yesterday (the 29th) because I work this weekend and will be having a baby shower at my house next weekend. I just needed my house clean and tidy again, it was starting to drive me nuts! Lol
I used to have a sleeping cap, we called it bonnet, when I was little...My hair was just as long as Olivia's. You can easily sew one...even from silk!!
Bonnie you just tickle me so much f Your personality and the funny facial expressions you make just makes me actually laugh out loud you are a hoot and your laugh is just so contagious I know I've told you that before but it's so true you are such a light in a sometimes dark world
I use something called a turbietwist that holds and dries my hair after I️ shower, and it works so well. There’s a band in the back that keeps it together so it never falls apart! Check it out, it works great and it’s comfortable!
I take my Christmas stuff down before the 6th January. it is my birthday in 3 weeks and 3 days love you guys so much Jordan p.s I'm watching this on my mum's kindle x
I always take Christmas down on January 2nd, and it breaks my heart every year! But this year we are starting a kitchen and floor remodel on the 4th so everything is coming out of the house!
A silk pillow case is a life saver! I'm mixed so my hair is curly and using a silk pillow case helps prevent breakage and my hair doesn't look half as crazy when I wake up lol I've tried a silk scarf but it always slips off too.
Oh Bonnie! Your response to Olivia not wanting to wear the necklace Santa brought her made me laugh hysterically!!! 😂😂😂 You are so funny. Thanks for the laugh. How dare she not like something "Santa" got her, lol! Funny, funny!
Hey Bonnie I remember you mentioning an alarm clock that you have for the kids that shows a sun when they can get up. Could you tell me what it is called?
Yeah, shower cap doesn't allow the skin to bread, so it's not really good to use it for long period of time. Bonnie, if the problem is just the hair getting tangled up, maybe you could try just braiding it loosely. I used to do that when I had extra long hair.
+Agnese R. Yeah my mum use to braid my hair at night when I was little then in the morning it would be fine, I'm thinking I might start doing that again
Bonnie,my mom is a hairstylist and I have the hair like Olivia's. You should get the fairytale detangler spray! It's a life saver. Also, use 2 shampoos and 1 conditioner When you do the conditioner let it sit for 5min then rinse with COLD water. If you use hot water, her hair is going to get dry. Hope this helps
I found a black "shower cap" that is silk at Walmart. It was in the section for the curly hair. idk if this makes sense. I have super curly hair so I find all sorts of things in this area. it doesn't have the stretchy elastic around the head, but it stays on great for me! it's never come off!
Less than a minute in and I have to pause and write a comment... I'm wearing a turtleneck and a vest right now too! SO COMFY! I'm embracing my "inner Bonnie" and pairing it all with big earrings too :D
I put everything away i'd say the first week after christmas. It made me so very sad!! But i have christmas lights above my bed so all year i feel SOME holiday joy!😂😉❤️
You can definitely use a silk bonnet or silk pillowcase for Olivia's hair. You can find them online or Sally's beauty supply and they would probably be a bit more comfortable than a shower cap
Try the plop method -search it on RUclips- for tying up Olivia's hair. I do it with my daughter and her hair gets so curly! You just need an old T-shirt
Wow, Olivia is so talented and creative!

I love The House that had Enough! I totally remember that book
I love all of the renovations you guys have done over the years. It is so neat to see. I really love the carpet in the kids bedrooms- pretty color and the texture looks beautiful!

you've probably tried it but braiding or plaiting hair always helps me plus leaves it wavy! xx
Those kids are so artsy! I love their work!
Love how you make the kids help you clean up & teach them to take care of their things. Aww the bear & necklace on Olivia's bed 😍 so cute The dollhouse is so sweet. Maybe you can get Olivia a pretty pink silk pillowcase for her hair.

Your kids are so precious!
We always take our Christmas decorations down shortly after New Year. My mum's birthday is in January so we like to have it all down by then
when boston talks about his snowman at 12:40 he sounds like marcel the shell omg i love him
I love Olivia's room
If you braid Olivia's hair before going to bed it helps it from getting tangled
Definitely get a silk pillow case! I have crazy curly hair, not only do I no longer wake up with knots I don't have any frizz as well! And it helps lock in moister as to where a cotton one sucks it all up.

The insulation on the ceiling reminds me of my old freezer when it would get all frosted over. That frosty look is appropriate for a 'cold' space. lol
I used to have a sleeping cap, we called it bonnet, when I was little...My hair was just as long as Olivia's. You can easily sew one...even from silk!!

I LOVE your nails, Bonnie!! 💛💛
I have that same exact sweater Olivia was wearing and I’m wearing it right now!!!!❤️❤️❤️👍
Little baby bum alert !!!! SO FREAKING CUTE!!! 💗💗💗
You can find the silk caps where the ethnic hair stuff is at Walmart. You can also find them at Sally's.
The silky pillow case is really good and it's go for you hair and face
I used to have as long hair as Olivia when I was younger, it was really helpful with the tangles to keep it in a braid when sleeping 😊
i love your family too cute God bless you and Happy New year !!!
In Spain we have kings day and usually after that holiday we take all the decorations down
I use something called a turbietwist that holds and dries my hair after I️ shower, and it works so well. There’s a band in the back that keeps it together so it never falls apart! Check it out, it works great and it’s comfortable!

Oh Bonnie I love that white cake plate that was in the background of the last clip!
You can find a slik bonnet online. The shower cap could make her head sweaty and hot at night.
Bonnie has more experience than I do, she's the cosmetologist lol.
Yeah, shower cap doesn't allow the skin to bread, so it's not really good to use it for long period of time.

I need Olivia’s hair like NOW!!
You can definitely use a silk bonnet or silk pillowcase for Olivia's hair. You can find them online or Sally's beauty supply and they would probably be a bit more comfortable than a shower cap
I love your cold storage. What made you deside on that solution for extra space?
That looks so nice.
Try the plop method -search it on RUclips- for tying up Olivia's hair. I do it with my daughter and her hair gets so curly! You just need an old T-shirt
