Wow!...That is SO excellent!...
Oh thank you Bill!!!!
Hello Emilie-Claire! Always a pleasure listening to you!
wonderfull!
I saw you in Quebec City for the first time and fell in love with your voice -- so easy to the ear....hope you can make a trip to DC at Blues Alley sometime!
Beautiful
Thank you
Oooh that bossa nova vibe. I love bossa nova. I know a lot of people don't. There is just something in the bossa nova groove. It can make you want to get up and dance, but at the same time relax the soul. At the end of each song you feel refreshed. Thank you for this. The breakdown was such a nice surprise. So much fun. I have to listen again.
I know what you mean (about the bossa nova!)
Fantastic song from a wonderful singer
She's one of my favourite's on Spotify,an amazing vocalist!🎯 JazzyT.
This was amazing! What a great pleasure to hear.
Thank you!
In addition to Emily-Claire's fabulous voice and jazz interpretation, Kelly Jefferson's melodic i provisation on tenor sax are real diamonds to add value to this beautiful song. Congrats to the orchestra!
Diamonds! Absolutely. It's perfection. Thank you!
lovely track Emilie! and Amanda fantabulous on the keys as always :)
She's wonderful! Thank you!
Found out about Emilie through Fuggetaboutit adult cartoon. Excellent singer.

I enjoyed seeing this, Emilie. Shared it with several audiophile forums. You're still a fav!
Wonderfulness....please do jazz bird next....🙏🙏🙏
It's in the queue!
Pure perfection.
Brilliant!!!❤
Parfaite mise en place comme toujours super pro ❤
Right . . . I’m going to sound like a broken record at this point. But _how on earth_ do you control the timbre of your voice while seamlessly switching from scatting to singing (“Let it fi-i-ind-fah-dop-ee-the answers to things . . .”) without skipping a beat? It sounds like two different instruments. Absolutely phenomenal. And then, of course, there’s the question of the magic behind maintaining the articulation while smiling . . .
Anyway, I could wax technical for hours on end scrutinizing every bar and every beat of your singing, and finding something extraordinarily brilliant, but who needs that when simply listening to you and the band is pure joy!
Thank you once again for listening in such detail! And yes - pure joy - this is what we hope to impart! Have a wonderful day...
bien : mise en place excellente, elle nous donne un couplet en portugais (du Brésil) qu'elle maitrise à la perfection : muito obrigado Emilie ! jazzzzzzz!
sets such a summery sweet tone to help make the evening end ever so seamlessly... lovely set 🥰
Feelin' breezy! Enjoy : )
YES!!
❤❤❤
Fantastic, as always! Curious if you actually speak my mother tongue (that would be Portuguese :) ). That was perfect!
hi! Muito obrigada! I don't speak it well, no, but I do sing a few songs in Portuguese and my wonderful friend Arianna who speaks fluently helped me with my pronunciation. I passed along this message to her : )
Fabulous!@@EmilieClaireBarlowChannel
The lyric is “Unfound in white, red, or yellow pills.” And not “red, white, or yellow pills.” (as you sang it). Perhaps some mention of the author and original songwriter, Stevie Wonder, would be handy, too.
HI Mark. All of the credits - including the songwriter Stevie Wonder - are listed below the video. I apologize that those two words of the lyrics got flipped in this version. It didn't seem egregious enough to not post the video, but noted that white is before red.
