well, most parries in tekken 7 are punch parries or are heavily punishable on whiff, jin's parries EVERYTHING and launches some moves, and instantly transitions on whiff to a block, jin is quite overloaded in this game, jin mains downplaying be damned, you can make it so that someone isnt allowed to play the game if you can parry.(this is coming from someone who plays jin quite a lot)
That doesnt really apply because every parry has "strict timing," but jin's has no risk and is an easy ass input and parries every move that is high or mid, even if its a weapon, he can also pull it out if he knows your strings, he can probably launch you out of your pressure, and the punishes arent even strict for parry, easy 15 frame launcher in cancan, he can parry a string and take you for half your health and above, hands down probably the second best parry in terms of damage behind geese.
