@erikh3rnand324 Brooklyn get active, Canarsie too but the difference between Canarsie and other hoods is that Canarsie is considered a middle/upper-class neighborhood. Most of the homeowners there are nurses, teachers, MTA workers, etc, it’s just their kids end up hopping off the porch and being in the street life.
Used to be a white neighborhood not too long ago. If you came up in the 1980’s, from other BK areas u looked at Canarsie as “safe”. No trains out there, so it’s different in terms of acces. It’s more like Queens than BK.
Listen man Canarsie is basically like a suburb of Brooklyn there is never nothing Wild in Canarsie it's all private houses the only projects close to Canarsie is Bayview houses and they're totally separated from the Canarsie community basically right next to the Belt Parkway every Community has incidents happening and most of the incidents that happened in Canarsie is those dudes bringing it upon themselves majority of people in Canarsie are hard-working people. some people got to try to validate their gangster by trying to make their neighborhood they live in look really bad Canarsie is no where near communities like East New York ,Brownsville or east Flatbush. Besides the few bad apples and the young kids being followers and trying to be down Canarsie really ain't a bad place
Canarsie is still a great neighborhood. A lot of these kids are from great homes but are trying to keep up with the influences of hip hop and street culture. It's so silly that people are trying to turn a good and mostly calm neighborhood into something that it isn't to appear a certain way. These kids have NO CLUE what it is to live in the types of destitute poverty that creates places like Baton Rouge or Chicago or Kensington. Why are we the only community who takes pride in our second class citizenship?
Sheff G ? Even more comical stop mentioning these dudes with hip-hop legends. These dudes riding a wave that's about to end and have no real skills record labels would've laughed at these kids in the era of real hip hop
Aight and she also said they didnt shoot each other and everybody went home after so could be worse, most ppl brag abt killin each other she didnt say anything like that
This must be one of, if not the least densely populated neighborhoods in Brooklyn. That's some valuable land these homeowners are sitting on. I know Queens and Statten Island got hoods like this but for BK this is rare.
@@youngfase5 Yes it is bro. I looked at a population density map of Brooklyn. From Marine Park through Canarsie to East New York density is low for BK average.
@@universalconquest4447 yeah, bc the murder&crime rate historically in the general area is top 5 , even now. The white flight of Canarsie was Super recent too. You could notice the white population decrease with your own eyes going outside as a 90's kid/early 2000's baby. The East had a reputation, and the hoods bordering Canarsie,(Brownsville, New Lots, Starrett, East New York proper)made the Whites fear integration, thus they left for Florida, Jersey, SI, LI, Queens, etc., and black families in the east who were ready for that got in, including mine. People from the 9/ville& ENY area knew how bad it could be and it never became THAT bad, despite redlining&active fear mongering for profit. Industrial sectors&old white ghettos got flipped black as property developers started selling whites property elsewhere in Brooklyn/nyc still white predominantly. Every hood bordering Canarsie are their own animals. You're basically boxed in on every side that isn't water, except by south shore, which has most of our shootings anyway. I'm hoping the vultures don't urbanize/gentrify my neighborhood at the cost of the quality of life out here.
You ever notice in ny not much of celebs or ppl murals get wacked but in california they wacked out they top legends it can nipsey kendrick kobe bron they all get wacked

Basically lol it’s like a suburban hood cause it’s in Brooklyn
@@tupenny1331Brooklyn don’t get active like that? I’m from LA so ion know their area over there
@@erikh3rnand324of course Brooklyn get active. This is just one of the nice neighborhoods in BK. It's not all gutter despite popular belief

NYC blocks and hoods need to take there streets back from gangs that originated in Cali and Chicago
Great content. Thank you! for sharing.
🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯
All the Folkz and Flatbush niggas beef w/ the floss what they supposed to do Js roll over and die🤷🏾♂️😂
13:04 FAM I love seeing this positive vibes my Luxury Hood Canarsie
Facts Flatlands Ave M...
Canarsie always had an identity crisis. For no reason dudes want to be tough out there.
@@user-rv9hh2dw3x for no reason.
Born in Brooklyn but raise three Brownsville the 90’s and Canarsie it was hard but u live n u learn

This must be one of, if not the least densely populated neighborhoods in Brooklyn. That's some valuable land these homeowners are sitting on. I know Queens and Statten Island got hoods like this but for BK this is rare.
Not really Flatbush bk is the same way and some parts of bushwick. Imma queens nigga tho
It's really not rare in bk they just show one side all the time
@@youngfase5 Yes it is bro.
Population wise yeah but land wise the Floss is a big ass neighborhood….it spans from the 100s down to the 50s/Glenwood. That’s 40 plus blocks
Rest in Peace Pop Smoke 🙏🏾🕊🙏🏾🕊🙏🏾🕊.
