HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CAMILLE!! My fiancée isn't someone who likes to be the center of attention-she leaves that all to me (probably a big reason why our relationship was meant to go the distance)! But with her birthday approaching, and us stuck at home in quarantine together, there wasn't exactly a discreet way for me to rehearse and film a Jonas Brothers song (her fav band) to surprise her with...
...so I decided to invite her to join me and make it a duet, and SHE SAID YES!! Please understand two things:
1. Camille is a fearless superstar, and
2. She has no musical background, has never taken a music lesson, and has never sung in public. It took MONTHS for me to hear her sing for the first time, and that was only in the car with the radio turned up loud.
When it comes to gifts, Camille has always expressed how much she cherishes memories over material things. And what better way to create a lasting memory than by filming a duet to immortalize on the internet?! Creating music videos is a huge passion of mine, and this was incredibly special for me to be able to take her behind the scenes to share with her this part of my life: producing, recording, filming, and performing. I was blown away by her natural talent and willingness to go outside her comfort zone and take chances. She even took on the challenge of playing the glockenspiel! She inspires me, and I'm so happy to be able to share this with the world so everyone can see her as I see her every day-shining in the spotlight.
(What can I say... I'm a sucker for her!)
