How would you generate a flat pattern for the top dome? The bottom cone with knuckled corner can be generated using Sweep Flange (profiled, welded and knuckled), but considering the intent to manufacture, the top dome will be pressed and knuckled, so what feature in SW does the forming conversion? It'd be good if these kinds of videos had the eventuality and some explanation touching onto the Design Intent and techniques to consider when Designing For Manufacture... Especially if you are in the education business...

Solidworks does not support flat patterns for top dom or dish end.
