What makes Selene's dychotomy so fascinating is the fact that she is an ethereal presence, yet a highly intelligent warrior and strategist with a hidden vulnerability and a profound sense of complexity. She is one of the greatest female characters of the 21st century.

as far as i'm not a fan of vamps and direwolves, i loved this serie. And Selene is one of the best char, togheter with Alice (resident evil) and Elektra. There is some other fem heroine that i'm forgetting right now But anyway, the story of underworld is pretty solid, more then many others (let me not mention :D)
