Great Video Trevor, Traveling these roads with the sprayer is almost as exciting as a steep side hill with the harvester, I find those road trips a very interesting watch, thanks for sharing

Yeah i like the hillside harvester better. I cant predict the traffic or their reaction to my presence.

Hey Trevor, another great video, I find these "roading" videos are just as interesting and important as the main field work stuff. They show the whole spectrum of what the job really entails.

Glad you like them! Yeah, roading is the scariest part but also the most interaction with the public I get. If one person watches these and gains perspective...I suppose I will have done my job! Thank you for the comment Anthony. Have a good one!

Thanks Trevor, a fascinating road trip. When my son first wanted to drive my tractor on the road, he was worried about how much larger than a car it was, but when he started driving he was amazed at how other drivers immediately pulled-in when they saw him! We have roads over here that are no wider than your Honda with high hedgerows each side with nowhere to pull-in!

Some of these roads are amazing for tractors and seemingly made for them, while others were not. My girlfriend said your roads were designed with wagons in mind. I couldnt imagine trying to drive a tractor down one like that here with americans all trying to pass the tractor.

Its always something when i get on the road. Not much room for me or other big loads. Barely room for me at times it feels like.

The "fun" of moving wide, slow (in comparison to the majority of other traffic) agricultural equipment, on roads not made for the equipment. Something I imagine most farms/ farmers get to experience, at least a couple times a year.
Back when we used to grow corn for Frito Lay ('80s- early 90's) we'd usually have some corn that was delivered straight from the field to their receiving elevator. I'd get home from school, and head straight to the field after changing clothes. I'd usually be at just the right time to haul a tractor and wagons to FL at evening rush hour. I'd be on the one stretch of two lane asphalt, and have 30-40 cars backed up behind me.

Usually youre not doing it right if theres not a line of cars behind you. Interesting is a
Better word than fun for me. Lol. Have a good one!

Is this around the normal time of year you guys get going in the fields?

Yeah. Mid march usually if the weather allows. There can be snow at beginning of march but we dry out usually in the spring and then summer is dry and hot and no rain til october.
