When you have found something that neither money nor family pressure can buy, there's no way you're gonna give it up. WuBi is the standard and ultimate goal. His love and devotion to Su Yu is beyond border. He's not going to trade his happiness

The adorable, bright-eyed Impish guy is just magic: you just have to love his naîvté, his child-like essence, what you see is what you get. He comes out about his sexuality in behind the scenes gossip so casually he is so in touch with accepting himself with totality. He is there there and there. It appears that he actually loves his co-star, really loves the guy yet he remains in control, protecting his potential partner: je dotes. loves, cuddles, protects SuYu Asia they have been together for years. SuYu class XuBi's shirt because he is showing too much skin. The bonding is so pure. Yes, the censors limit their affection, but XuBi communicates every sliver of love that he feels. XuBi is the series, every emotion comes from his warm and tender soul
The need to censor this story for a Chinese audience is a bit sad, and perhaps spoils it a bit. These two are so in love and yet in this episode they sleep in their tent with their clothes on, laid out like corpses. Su Yu wants to watch the dawn with his partner, and he is so in love he wants to shout about that out loud, but he can't. So we can pretend this is just a bromance, and nothing more - when it's in fact a beautiful love story, about two people finding each other in a world that didn't really appreciate them or, in WuBi's case, give him any affection. The universal truth is that the whole extended family can be healed by this new love - although again the censors might want a bad ending to any unconventional relationship, like it's still Hollywood in the 1950s. This series definitely needs more kissing, even if we don't get the implied sex scenes that 'Addicted' - the earlier BL drama on which this is based - had a lot of. The two actors here still manage to do a great job in conveying the obvious truth, with their eyes and smiles, and with the occasional hugs. Love is love. I guess we watch this because both boys are like cuddly teddy bears, a bit sewn up down below, and with both struggling to communicate.
