my sanctuary suddenly went 90 happiness.. but what recently happened is that i dont get alert when a sellement gets attack sometimes but instead it tells ur settlement suffered a damage thingy
It's one of my favorite settlements too. It's been real fun to patch it and make it habitable. 14:46 you know, that console command don't really need a mod, it works in base game 15:59 you can move it, using the console command you used minute earlier

That looks really nice, it fits the whole wasteland vibe, when I fixed it I used a mod called snap&build I think that added the ability to scrap sections of the building and added those essentially every buildable to my menu, so I patched the entire house by hand replacing broken walls and cleaning it until it was perfect as if it was still pre-war, although it was still kinda dirty but eh
The statue is a take on the real life "Concord Minuteman" statue, and the "Lexington Minuteman" monument. The National Guard use the Concord one as their symbol.
Completely random thought, but about the 2 broken walls at the entrance, maybe the one you didn't cover up was an archway, being a manor it might've had some of that fancy architecture.

I’ve got a mod set up that has pre-built walls and tower placements for settlement guards and what I normally do is just throw three missile bots at those stations with some turrets poking up above the walls and just call it a day. Then I put a rooftop garden and that’s it after that it’s purely interior design
i know a mod you would like to use to clean settlements more. it is called spring cleaning. it lets you scrap 300 more items like leaves brances, or just random garbage

I'm late to the party here but I play on PS4 and of course mods are limited with Sony but I have loved using the "scrap that settlement" mod to get rid of all the debris and trash you find in most settlements. It lets you scrap a lot more than the vanilla game does. I've also used the "expand that settlement" mod to have a little more room to work with, I've been trying to think of something neat to put on the rocks/beach behind the manor, probably just my water purifiers

scrap fallout will also allow you to scrap dead bodies and hilariously living things as well i turned off the borders and was running around scrapping raiders and supermutants i didn't realize until later that when i did that they never respawned again
just consider that wall at your entrance was either a support or a half wall at one point to box off the entrance way. my house has a box top entrance way with a door leading to the hallway

I suppose the original layout required a door in the left-hand wall, but that wouldn't explain the blown-out door frame in the wall where I placed the existing door. Why have two doors to the same room? So I just left the wall out. Opens it up, makes it feel bigger imhop.
I thought the unofficial FO4 patch fixed the navmesh issues with settlers spawning in the water behind the house or getting stuck down there? Sp just curious...anyone else still having this problem? I just got to Croup 2 days ago. I have 9 settlers and 5 are missing completely. 2 regularly get stuck in the ocean between work and going to bed. The missing ones...I'm still searching for them. I'm running on PC latest version 1.8.7 and the most recent Unoffficial FO4 patch.

Also I wish I had seen this before I scrapped all the broken walls because its far easier to patch them than it is to reconstruct them! I would like to go back to a previous save but I can't now because I have done a couple of missions since and don't want to have to do them again because they were tough! So my Croup Manor will never look as good as yours... :(
One thing I find strange about this settlement you can’t put large water purifiers in the water since your right next to a large water supply anyone else finds this strange

I was just thinking yesterday that it's a shame they didn't give you the option to repair or at least scrap the houses that are little more than piles of scrap lumber. As it is, if you don't use mods, they're little more than wastes of space.

You can run power through any obstacle/wall, since day 1, i did not say power cords.... Place conduit on either side of wall/obstacle...boom auto-win, boom mindblown!! Having wires run through your entire settlement really shows that absolutely noone knows this... Power conduit... the name sais it all.... this is really the age of stupid, no offence... So instead of running a wire from conduit to conduit, the conduit picks up the power from othe conduits....easy, really, unlike glitching wires through walls or open windows, broken doors, gaps.... Why go through all that worthless effort?

That second wall when you first walk in doesn't have to be a full wall. I always assumed it was just a short, foot long wall.

There's a way to farm adhesive, check out the cooking station and go on utility than farm what ever it needs to cook it or craft it...

You can scrap a lot more stuff if you use the Spring Cleaning mod. All those bits of wood on the floor etc.
Also I wish I had seen this before I scrapped all the broken walls because its far easier to patch them than it is to reconstruct them! I just finished building my manor up and I used the neon lights to make the middle statue a sort of compass
I know people use OCDecorator to place all that wonderful stuff inside... but the looter in me wants to press E on everything in that house! :P
Also you can place a door on a mat and put it in the kitchen doorway if you dont know what i am talking about look up how to put doors in settlements

I have a room on top of the house with the generators and it look like it belongs there my only problem is respawning ghoul corpses.
the only reason you can tell the outside walls have been repaired is because the barn items are red instead of blue.

If you use snappybuild you can just repair it back to how it would look if it wasn't touched
