Jordan reminds me of what it was like working in a software company in the 90s. There were many Jordans. Jordans ready to out Jordan each other. Unfortunately , I wasn’t at all Jordan-like and I never knew when to anticipate the Topic 101 rundown. It could have been about anything: their product speciality, my product speciality, a part of the computer they were touching, the water I said I needed to go get. Really, anything was game for an impromptu lecture.
First of all you guys are hilarious. Second Jordan leans into his stuff. He is eccentric like that but the deadpan is for comedic effect. He’s on record actuslly laughing lol
This is Jordan at peak D-bag level. Ordering a luxury item using company funds, while hiding it from everyone else by literally putting right outside his own office, far away from a common area like the break room/kitchen area. He also didn’t mention to anyone else in the office that it was available.
I saw him smile before when he was mocking Conan. It goes a bit back and forth. They say it's all real not scripted, but who knows. I think he does have some Italian origin. He even spoke some on their trip to Italy together.

The completely deadpan aspect is him embellishing, but he really is an odd individual that uses a lot of words, while being quite evasive with his answers. Conan had him on his podcast and he was being weird even when explaining his self 😅
i would guess hes made an opinion on american coffee without trying it based on the way its prepared. most of the coffee we drink here is brewed from stale pre-ground beans, using water that isnt ideal, at temperatures that arent ideal, and then kept warm at high temperatures which makes it taste not as good. of course, assuming that its bad without trying it is ridiculous, but there are better ways to make coffee than the way we usually make it. its good enough for most people though. there are actually a lot of variables that you can control to change the way coffee tastes. but we mostly drink it because we are caffeine and sugar addicts so most people arent so snobby that they refuse to drink it. i got really into coffee for a year or so, so i learned about how fussy you can get with it if you want. but i'm still not above a cup of gas station coffee thats been sitting on a hot plate for 3 hours. i did not intend for this comment to sound like i was doing an impression of jordan, but that just makes me more certain his personality isnt an act. he really is just like that

Honestly it's not hard to get stunning. coffee in the US if you're a coffee snob and have the money to buy expensive beans. I love coffee but i'm not a snob and drink $4 a bag Trader Joes brand cause i'm on a budget. But i know places with award winnng coffee and you can get top shelf coffee at my grocery store. I'm just not spending $15 for 8 ounces of coffee cause a $4 bag satisfies me just fine.

The are moments when you see Jordan's expression and he looks like he wants to start laughing but is trying to hold it in, and that's usually when he doesn't look at Conan. There is a video out on RUclips about how many times Jordan seems to break character and starts laughing.
