20:00, the part with Steve Irwin came up and i started tearing up. Miss him a lot, it was an inspiration for me growing up and i use to watch the crocodile hunter religiously
10:23 I recently learned why Furbies still talk without batteries, making them seem possessed! They have a small button-cell battery on their memory chip, so that they don't lose data when you replace their batteries. But they're also cheap, so some of that small battery's power can leak out into other circuits they're not meant to. That leakage can slowly charge up capacitors, and the way capacitors work, once they're fully charged, they immediately discharge and power the rest of the circuit until they lose all their charge. So given enough time of that button-cell leaking, the Furby can suddenly "come back to life" for a minute or so as the capacitors discharge, then die again, starting the cycle over until that button-cell eventually dies.
I remember watching Kerri Strug with that vault and my heart still races watching it. She scored a 9.712 That vault n that score is ingrained in my memory. I'll always remember her coach, Bela Karolyi, carrying her off the mat.
My ex wife wanted to get a furby for my younger daughter. I immediately said no because they freak me out. I gave in and we got the furby. My daughter, who was seven at the time, played with it once. She said she didn't like the way it looked at her. That thing would talk unprompted in the middle of the night until even my ex started losing it. It was donated to goodwill. Let it possess some other child's soul but not mine. Lol We did buy her a replacement gift.
Doc is an incredibly attractive human being. I was captivated every time he was on screen. He has great charisma. And his tickle me elmo impression was top notch haha.
Fun fact, if you read the Unabomber's manifesto, he was actually right about a lot of the concerns he had about technology and the future. Obviously I don't agree with what he did, but he had a crazy high IQ--he just used his gift the wrong way. He could've made millions with what he knew about the possibilities of technology. Of course the media portrayed him as a paranoid, old man who didn't know what he was talking about.
Steve Irwin...I was a kid grew up watching his show...never missed a show and still to this day I cry. He's one of the reasons why I love animals so much.
I remember hearing Furby commercials on the radio Christmas 1996 when I was returning from college. I saw Independence Day on the 4th of July in theaters.
My younger daughter had a thinking chair and a blues clues notebook. I was actually kind of jealous about the thinking chair because that thing looked comfortable. Lol My older daughter was a peewee's playhouse fan and while they never had a chairy for sale, I made one for her and upholstered it.
Great pairing!!!!! Would love to see more of Jennifer ❤ I love every single reactor but would love to see more or her, she’s great in these!!!! Keep up the great work, everyone!!!!!
Third Rock From the Sun was one of my favorite shows and I still watch the reruns. And Independence Day is one of my favorite sci fi movies. ID2 was good too. They left it open for a part 3 but I haven't heard anything about that happening.
Keri Strug nailing that final vault with a twisted freaking ankle was such an emotional success for me as an American to realize we don’t suck at gymnastics.
Thank goodness my older granddaughter never wanted tickle me elmo. People got crazy fighting over those things. She loved the elmo's world segment of sesame street. She had certain amount of TV time (I found a lot of other stuff for us to do besides TV) and that was fifteen minutes that we had to watch, every day.
I remember ER scaring me as a kid. Was around 7-8 and was flipping through channels and stopped on it. I remember being a teen and thinking I wanted to be a Dr or veterinarian then I remembered watching ER and seeing people Hurt and I told myself I couldn’t be around it.
Round 6. I knew Jonbenet was one of them. Even though I was just a kid at the time and didn't watch the news, I remember that being a huge deal. Everyone was talking about it.
For the nintendo64, I know a few of my favorites and I'll be surprised if i'm wrong on some. legend of zelda ocarina of time (I'm ashamed to admit how much time I spent at the fishing hole) & majora's mask. Super Mario 64, donkey kong country, waverace and f zero. Oh, also madden football, although I can't remember my favorite year.

In 1996, I finished my basketball season as captain and finished the game to get us into the championship with a fractured freakin' ankle. I also dated the HOTTEST 🔥 girl in the school.

I remembered "Scream". I was 17 going on 18. It wasn't as scary as
"Pete cemetery" and "A nightmare on Elmstreet" at that time.
Jayse did so well with Elmo impression at 11:15
Rent may have opened Off-Broadway, but when I was a freshmen in high school in 1999, I saw in _on_ Broadway. Amazing show! Amazing music! 10/10!
And Martine literally steals the lead for crocodile hunter. Nice move with the button. Lolol
Doc just looking like a Snack like he always does... 😍😍😍😍😍
Martine My Slay Queen taking no prisoners!!! I enjoyed this episode!!!!
Black Friday when Tickle Me Elmo came out was brutal!
Phantom of the Opera eventually SURPASSED Cats as the longest running musical.
Fun fact the kid in 3rd Rock From The Sun is Joseph Gordon Levitt.
Came here to say this
You mean the guy in inception
That's all I know him as haha
Tommy Solomon
He's amazing he sings dances and acts. He also played as a trapeze artist in France!
The 10 Things I Hate About You actor? Yep, and he has his production company HITRECORD.
Jayse is ready to sip some fine wine with a nice croissant 😆

I’m glad atleast one person thinks so ❤❤❤
@@jayseobrien a lot more than one. You are loved 🥵🥰
my mind went to michael jordan's dad james and ennis cosby (billy cosby's son) who were both murdered in the 90s
I can't remember what I had for breakfast this morning but I do so well with these eighties and nineties trivia battles.
I HATE it when Martene and other contestants move the buzzer so the opponent can't hit it. That should be an immediate disqualification.
I graduated high school 1996 and still don't know most of it!😂😂

Love the Kurt Angle reference here

9 years old when I first saw scream, it's my absolute favorite movie of all time.
My favorite thing of 96 was Blues Clues. Still love Steve Burns to this day!!!!
Guys, I’m turning 29 this year-time flies since 1996! I’m excited to see what the new year has in store for us. Happy New Year!
Did Joe and Jace switch hair styles 😅😂 just playing with y’all! But no jokes can we get a 1998 video?
You've officially made me feel as old as dirt now.
C'mon Martine...😍😍
... but Jennifer also looks 😍😍
14:00 why you didnt give Jayse Donkey Kong! Lol
I didn't get an N64 until 2001. Pokémon Stadium was the first game I had.
Star studded cast on this one. Usher and molly Ringwald
1996 was the best year for TV! I loved 7th Heaven and Sabrina the teenage witch!
Favorite thing from 96 is N64 without question. First time I ever beat a video game. Quake
Of course Jace knows Da Dip
1st Round was too easy! I'm surprised none of them got it!
😯 Seeing Jayse without the stubble on his face surprised me.
Kinda odd but he still looks awesome 👍
Yay DOC! He’s so handsome
My dad went everywhere hunting down a tickle me elmo for my younger cousin!
14:49 She was already hurt
3rd Rock From The Sun - damn good show!
I still play WWF No Mercy on my N64...
It's the mail that never fails makes me wanna wag my tail every time I hear it MAIIIILLLLLLLLL!!!
Blues Clues has always been my favorite children’s show.
I was sad when Steve went to "college" and Joe took over lol
Kristen Johnston was/is a gorgeous woman! Best live action Wilma Flintstone too!
I loved seeing Martinez’s excitement at 18:17 - 18:18!
I turned 8 later in 1996. I thought there might have been a mention of Romeo + Juliet. But glad for the mentions of Rent.
Joe... Cake is touring again. They were fantastic live. Saw them in Lincoln NE, there's a video of The Distance on here.
I had such a thing for Dominique Moceanu back then
My 5 guesses for the best selling N64 games ended up being the top 5 🤓😎
So that's where the Jayse pics are from!
Any Montanan, like Joe and myself, would know who lived in that cabin!
I was 23 in 1996... And remember nothing lol
The year I was born!!!! Bout time we get some recognition 😄😄😄😄
I was 10 in 1996. I forgot about Scream. That was the hottest film at the time, huge hit. I remember going to see Scream in the theaters with my dad.
I wasn't even born yet, so how could I remember that year?, plus Jayse how could you not have seen or Love Everybody Loves Raymond? 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Lol i can see it. They look like beagle ears😂😂😂
I gotta go with the start of the Bulls second three peat. I was 14 that year.
Lator sounds like a supervillain
I don't know who thinks up the AKA clues but ... pretty good. I didn't get chugga chugga gander tho because I've never seen trainspotting.
Trainspotting is an interesting movie, to say the least. A little hard to watch at some points. It was also one of Ewan McGregor's earliest movies.
Those that said Tamagotchi were correct, seeing as how it was released stateside in 97. All the other things were stateside in 96, minus the Furby.
I KNEW I didn't have one in 96, and I had one within months of it coming out! I figured it must have been a Christmas release for it to be 96.
I saw JoBennett Ramsey and I am so curious on her case, that’s why I clicked it😂
JonBenet*

Is Martine not good with Horror? I don't recall if she's mentioned it before.
Yeah she is
The year I was born iconic❤
The only 2 of the top 10 N64 games I owned were Pokemon Stadium and Banjo Kazooie. Never played any of the rest.

Mario 64 was the launch game so of course it was #1! I knew Mario Kart and GoldenEye would be high up there just didnt know the order. I got 7/10.
Pong? An Atari game, ON THE N64?! Pretty sure you pissed off every Nintendo fan in existence, including me. What dumb answer to give.
I was similarly blown away by 1986's Lost Levels (even though it got that title in 1993)

Weird how couples of them answer on top 10 bestselling 64 games is super mario world and forgot that game is snes not n64 LOL.
